I recently downloaded the crysis 2 demo. But i disconnect 2-5 minutes into a game. I tried playing while directly plug into the modem and i can play as long as i want.
I am currently using the D-Link DIR-615 HW VER:c1 FW VER:3.13.Crysis is the only game with this problem at the moment. I have tried googling it but still won't work.I have tried to disabled my firewall+antivirus and i still disconnect.
How can i connect the game to the other computer without router?, like DOTA games??

When the router is first turned on or a setting is changed any/all of the computers here can connect to the Ultima Online game server for login but within a few minutes most will not be able to. Its as if they are being refused a connection to login.owo.com (I think that is where they connect to). 1 maybe 2 computers can still connect but its fickle and can't know which 1 or 2 it will be or for how long.any computers already connected to a game server are fine its just the ones trying to login after the router has been running for a few minutes. My first assumption 2 days ago when this happened with my dlink gaming router was that the router developed a problem but now with a new router its still happening. The problem started when I re-enabled the wireless on my gaming router and when I noticed the problem I re-disabled the wireless but the problem persists. A new modem (the DIR-655) did not work...

View 2 Replies View RelatedI've been having a strange intermitent problem with my E1500 wireless router. When we first bought and installed it everything was working well with no known problems. After several months no one using the router was able to access certain websites as well as a game server that we play on. No one had made any changes to the router settings and I assumed at first that it was an ISP problem. After talking with our ISP tech support they finally suggested plugging my PC directly into the modem rather then the router. I did and found that the websites and servers that previously wouldn't connect while using the router were now reachable. Any changes to the router settings since installation.I decided that just in case someone unauthorized had made changes to simply revert the router to factory settings and reinstall the software. After doing this I found that I could again reach the websites and servers that I previously could not. So time went on with no problems until a few months later when the same websites and servers were again unreachable by anyone on our router. I again reset the router to factory settings and changed passwords as a precaution, but this time the websites and servers were unreachable even though I had just reset the router.

I wanted to port forward it so that they go into the game without using hamachi, or any other networking program. I've already tried once and whenever I ran my server, I would say "FAILED TO BIND TO PORT" or just ask me this "Is another running on that port?"

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have just set up a wireless trendnet router. Everything is set up normal and its working correctly, it correctly assigns internal IPs to wireless devices. The problem is though that for some reason we all get disconnected in games for instance and some games more than others. Rift disconnects every 30 seconds to 1 minute, World of Warcraft disconnects often, Live Messenger disconnects as well, Age of Empires Online can sometimes work fine for hours, then sometimes disconnect every now and then. Steam doesn't disconnect. Its more or less the same on any of our laptops. (all running Windows 7 64 Bit Home Premium or Professional)

I am unable to forward and ports succesfully because after i have saved the settings i check it with a port checking site and it says they're all closed.
I have also been getting disconnected from my router when its under stress (Most recently playing League of Legends) but my Dad's Pc (Which is only connected to the Belkin) still stays connected and hasn't experienced any disconnections.
My router model is F5D7634-4 v2, DHCP is enabled but only my Dad's PC appears, UPnP is enabled but doesn't seem to work and my fireware is up to date.
I used to have a different router before this one which never had these disconnecting problems.

I've used this router for several years without a problem until I recently bought a new Canon wireless MG5320 printer which initially had problems connecting to my LAN. View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a HP G62 Laptop that's less then a year old (replacing a Dell we had for several years without problems) and a 2Wire router with ATT DSL that we've also had for years. Ever since we've had the new laptop we've been unable to use the wireless without problems. Periodically, (maybe once an hour or so) if the laptop is connected wirelessly it will make the router disconnect from the internet and cycle off. The router lights all go red, it cycles back on, green lights come on and re-connects.I've had ATT run a line test, had them send technicians here 3 times, they've gone through the house and followed the line to the box, trimming branches on the way. I've gotten a new router and I've tried a USB wireless adapter for the lap top. However, as soon as the wireless is disabled and it's plugged in by ethernet all of the problems go away. This would be fine if it was mostly used at a desktop but it's mostly used on the couch/around the house and the ethernet cables get in the way and keep breaking.

Currently, we only use cables to connect to the router because we haven't been bothered to setup wireless. However, there's a curious problem where the moment we connect more than 2 devices at a time, the router loses connection to the internet. View 7 Replies View RelatedCurrently I have a VPN tunnel setup between our company locations. Location A has Linksys RV016 and Location B has RV082. Everything has been working with no problems for the past 2 years with only minor disconnect issues in the VPN tunnel between the locations.
For the past 2 weeks I have been running into issues with the Tunnel. Users in Location B are reporting problems with losing connection to applications that are hosted in Location A. At first I start with doing a ping to router address in Location B and I get "request timed out". Next I login to router in Location A and under VPN I notice that the VPN tunnel is not disconnect (I see disconnect button). Once I click on Disconnect the screen refreshes and that seemed to restablish connecting with router in Location B. The drop connection has been been going on for the past 2 weeks and only happens once a day specifically between 1 PM and 3 PM EST. I have been reading all over the internet and no luck at all. The VPN tunnel settings are the same on both routers and under Advanced options both Keep Alive and Dead Peer Detection (DPD) are checked.

I'm using a 3020 to bridge 3/4G to the ethernet port on my computer. Things work fine until I also join wireless hosts (like an iPhone or iPad). The routing of traffic to both the ethernet and wireless hosts seems to cause the 3/4G router to lose the signal and disconnect all hosts. I'm using a Verizon LG USB wifi device that is on the compatible list of 3/4G devices. I'm using the latest version of the firmware on the 3020 (I believe the date is Sep 2012).
I've had an E4200v1 in use as my home's main router for about 3 mos. And while many others have reported disconnect problems (I think), I myself have never seen any. My router and its N & G wifi networks have been rock solid. Until yesterday that is.Now all of a sudden, most of my family is complaining about wifi disconnects, slow speeds, etc. (My primary PC is hard-wired so I don't see any problems whatsoever... the problem apears to be wifi-only)And the Apple devices (OSX & IOS) seem to have the most severe problems. But Windows devices have also seen problems, just not as critical.Also, it's worth noting that I've been running 1.0.04 the whole time, without any problems... it seemed relatively stable to me. I've bounced the router, I've disabled/re-enabled Wireless G network. I've switched mode from "mixed" to "G-only" back to "mixed". I've changed the channel width back to the default of Auto (I had been using 20Mhz), which increased my throughput (as measured by Qcheck) so I'm leaving it "Auto".
We have 400 branches is ended on ASR 1002 router. ASR 1002 is the Hub router. When we disconnect/connect WAN interface or Shut/no shut tunnel interface, at the moment, router is not reacheable via telnet.
But if i disable the EIGRP on tunnel interface, tunnel are ok, then when i enable eigrp on tunnel interface, all eigrp neighbourhoods are OK.Is there any way to limit NHRP or EIGRP packets ?

If I disconnect the WRT54G and hard wire to the cable modem I can VPN in without a problem. I have enabled IPSec / PPTP / L2TP on the VPN security tab and have reset the wireless modem.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI bought an EA 3500 refurbished through linksys. I can't configurate it using the CD-Rom. Always said "can't find your router". So I flash with the classic firmware, and it fixs the problem and automatically upgrade to smart Wi-Fi. That being said, whenever I plug in a portable hard drive, the router disconnect from internet after a minute. I tried my seagate HDD and also my flash driver. Both Lost internet after a minute or so. So I think it is probably the router's problem.

My friend used to do this on his website and it worked across multiple games, so people only entered his website and didnt need to remember the IP. if you type in [URL] in minecraft then u can add that server without the IP, thats what i mean.
At my university I have huge lag spikes when playing Hon (heroes of newerth) my friends are playing and have no issues. As of now, I have turned all the graphics down to the lowest settings, disabled every function of the windows firewall I could find, and ensured no other programs are running (even closed explorer) Any idea what could be causing this? (I have no antivirus active)
