View 4 Replies View RelatedMy Dell Inspiron 1525's hard drive died recently. I bought a new hard drive onine because my warranty expired. I installed the hard drive and a Windows Vista Premium operating system. I previously had Windows Vista Basic.
I tried to install all of my drivers, but neither by ethernet connection or wireless are able to connect. I ran the Intel PROset Wireless diagnostics and the hardware portions fails. The error says driver version does not support Intel PROSet/ Wireless.
The wireless card does not show up in the device manager under network adapters. I still am missing a driver for the network controller but do not know where to fnd it.
When I plug an ethernet cable into the computer directly it says no connectivity and will not light up green. why it will not connect to the internet.
I have a Notebook HP Pavillion DV6 3113sa with Windows 7 64-bit My Broadcom Bluetooth and Wireless Combo Card is not being detected. On device manager> Network adapters I cannot see my the wireless adapter. Realtek PCIe GBE Family controller is in the device manager though. Also I can access internet with an ethernt cable and my phone and other computer can detect my wireless router. The wireless light is also continually orange and will not change. So neither bluetooth or wireless is working. I have down loaded the 2 Broadcom drivers from the HP website but neither fix the problem. However the bluetooth driver says something like 'Driver failed to install because no bluetooth device was found'.
View 3 Replies View RelatedMy wireless network card is not detected by the system and wont show up in device manager. the green light on the back of the card is still blinking, so it is getting power through the mobo. Wireless network card was working perfectly before swapping out my video card for a new 7850 and swapping out my RAM modules. The drivers are Up to date. I'm running windows 7 and the wireless network card is an atheros AR5005GS.
I don't understand why installing new RAM and a new video card would affect this?? I didn't touch that card, and have double checked it is still seated properly.
I have no other way currently to connect this computer to the Internet.
Recently my wirless internet stopped working. I am running a HP dv 9000 laptop. The indicator light always stays amber (instead of turning blue when turned on) on external wirless switch. The wireless adaptor should be a Broadcom 802.11b. This does not show up in device manager, but my computer says the driver for it is installed. In the device manager there is one device with a yellow question mark beside it called "other device". Under this device there are three more devices called "base system device" with a yellow exclamation point next to them

Sometime later i noticed that the LAN card (Atheros A8151 PCI-E Ethernet Controller) was not working i went into the adapter settings in network control in the control panel and there was no adapter. i checked the device manager and there was no option called NETWORK ADAPTERS.
View 14 Replies View RelatedWe a Q77 based Jetway JNF9E motherboard, and when we added a TP-Link PCIe network card it was not detected in device manager in windows XP. We tried a Dynamode card with a different chipset and that was also not detected. We then tried a PCIe Firewire card, and that was fine, indicating that the slot itself was OK.We then tried installing Windows 7-64, and that also failed to see either card. We updated the BIOS to the latest version, which had no effect. We then tried another PC with the same motherboard and that also showed the same problem. A USB network adaptor does work, but is not an ideal solution due to space contraints.

I read that this card is compatible with this model router, but I have also notice that there is a version 2 of this card. Have I ordered the wrong card or do I possibly have a defective card? My ISO version is 12.2(26) on the router. If this card is not compatible, what is the recommended card for adding an additional ethernet port on this router?
View 2 Replies View RelatedSince yesterday evening, my Toshiba Satellite Laptop (L505D-ES5025) hasn't been able to register my wireless network, though it registered it perfectly fine yesterday morning. I can only detect the local area connection, and can only connect to the internet via the ethernet cable (which is what I'm using right now).Even when I go to the "Change Adapter Settings" from Control Panel, it won't detect the wireless network that I use. The other computers/laptops in the house work, but this one can't regiester to it, even though it's the closest to the router. When I troubleshoot the problem, the only solution is to use the ethernet cable, but I can't depend on it since the whole point of using a wireless connection is to go wireless.I have tried the Control Panel solution of going to the device manager, but I can't find the wireless network from there. This Toshiba computer also doesn't have a physical WLAN button; rather hot keys are used (though when I use this, it doesn't anyways).I also tried to find the drivers for it to update, but those won't either update, or they do update but nothing happens. In other words, I can't do anything because my laptop can't find ANY networks whatsoever except for the one that is found after I connect it to the ethernet cable. My OS is Windows 7, 64-bit Home Premium.

View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen I click on the Wireless Network Connection icon it says "Wireless network unavailable." There's also an error message that says "The Dell Wireless WLAN Card is disabled. Use the Dell Wireless WLAN Utility to enable it." When I right click on the wireless network icon it says "No wireless networks were found in range. Make sure the wireless switch on your computer is on. To see an updated list, click 'Refresh network list.'" I don't have a wireless switch. I have a wireless enable icon and it says Enabled. My wireless network is working because my phone sees it and two other networks in the neighborhood. I couldn't find the Dell Wireless WLAN Utility. I also tried my iPhone hotspot. Laptop did not detect it either.

I'm leaning towards a E3200 right now.

I tried the ipconfig /all and it shows my IP address as 0.0.0.0 and the same on the subnet mask. it says the autoconfig is enabled and dhcp is enabled. I constantly drop internet connection, mainly when downloading and playing games. In the right bottom corner, where my wireless connection signal strenght is showed, I get an yellow triangle with '!' mark in it saying 'Limited access'. When troubleshooting, the only way to get an internet connection again, I get an message 'The default gateway is not available' and it says that it's fixed. after awhile I lose internet connection again and everything repeats. I figured out that it's not from my router or Internet Service Provider. I saw in the forums the option to exchange this card for the 6230 upgraded version but that is not a variant for me because in my country the technicians can at very damage the laptop.
