I've been having this problem the past 2 days. around 7-7:30pm my motorola sbg6580 will reboot itself every 15m or so the rest of the night.I've checked all my line they are in good condition, I've done the whole pull out all the cords let it sit for 1 minute, I've factory reset it.called the cableone tech support and it even reset while i was on the phone with him. I have a tech coming out tuesday but if it's something i can troubleshoot and fix now i'd rather have that.
I might have to reboot my operating system, I have a Cisco wireless router, so I have to reset it, and set it up again after i reboot my operating system?
Why My Belkin Router F5D8236-4 Ver 2 always rebooting itself. the router lamp is on and then the security lamp is on and then the router rebooting itself. this happening because im push the reset button. im already try to upgrade the firmware with recovering tool (Boot Loader / Tiny Kernel Version v0.02) from 192.168.2.1 but the problem still happening.
I have a RV120W that reboots itself when the WAN (ADSL modem) breaks away. With an old D-Link low end router, reconnecting after a failure is completed after 5 seconds and nobody cares, but the RV rebooting takes almost 2 minutes which is actually noticed...I also have some trouble getting VPN running, QuickVPN as well as normal IPsec, using either Shrewsoft or Greenbow as clients. get this router running with 3rd party VPN clients?
I had some issues with network and I thought that reseting the modem might work. So I did it, I pushed the reset button thingy, but now I can't connect wireless. There is no network offered in "Wireless network connections", like the reset deleted it. What can I do about this?
I set up an E1200 about two weeks ago to replace our old DI-524 because our net speeds were getting throttled (the old router wouldn't support anything higher than 10mbps). The same day, we started getting modem resets (We have an SB6120). This never happened on the old router but it's constantly happening with this new one. It'll happen multiple times a day. I called Cox Tech Support and they pushed an upgrade onto the modem but it still reset. I don't think it's the router, since I don't understand why it would force the modem to reset, but this never happened before I installed it. The firmware is updated to the latest version on the Cisco site (1.0.02).
We recently upgraded to higher speed internet and were to "reset" our modem, which is PCI Soft Data Fax Modem With SmartCP.How does one "reset" their modem?
Yesterday I had to move the computer desk to paint the wall behind it,which included unplugging the router and modem. There are four computers in the house, three on wireless, and after I hooked everything back up the pc in my room and the hardwired one reconnected to the router and internet just fine.My brother's pc and my laptop though can't seem to connect, they attempt to connect but just say they can't connect.
I work at the Staples Easy Tech center and the resident tech there told me to do an IP flush or some such thing, but my google fuu is weak and this "ipconfig /release" and "ipconfig /renew" refuse to do anything without a connection to the network.I proceeded to hardwire my laptop and even then it says no internet connection and doesn't recognize the network. I already power-cycled the router.Maybe power-cycle the modem?Reset mac addresses?
I need to reset my DLink wireless modem all over again, can't get it to recognise the router, so thought that it would need to reset to factory defaut, how can I do this. Tried just hitting reset on the router, but nothing is happening.
I have reset the modem but after resetting it I can't go for internet anymore with computer or wifi . And after that I notice that my wifi is not under any security which is free for all.can I know how to fix this problem ?the main problem is mostly that can't go internet after reset it
My wireless was working but would load some pages super slow and others just fine. I reset my modem and router and now I can wireless connect to the router but get no connection. If I plug my computer directly to the modem I can connect the internet just fine. But if I hook up my router and connect it to my pc through a cable it can't connect just like the wireless.I have a linksys WRT54GSv1 Comcast is my ISP I ran Xirrus connection test and it said DNS Lookup Failure then No IP Availible. This is an ipconfg /all result

I'm am getting a "Could not find DHCP daemon" error in the router log (N300 router), but when I connect my cable modem directly to my computer it gets an IP address just fine so I doubt the problem is with my modem or ISP. I've tried resetting the modem and router multiple times but no luck.
We have 1 WLC + 17 AP's on our main site and thats working fine... we just buyed a new AP for a new site of us. Its the same domain, same ip range nothing special at all... Somehow the AP on the site keeps rebooting and the users getting nervous of it there
Recieved this E4200 as a repplacement for a v1 that kept dropping wireless connection. Now after about 1.5 months the router keeps rebooting. Tried resetting, etc...no luck. Calling Cisco now.
I deleted the ios image form the aironet device from command line when i was trying to updgrade it.Now the aironet 1100 keeps rebooting.I've tried to hold down the mode for 30 seconds goes red, but keeps rebooting.
About every 20 minutes 12 of 300 APs keep rebooting. I have tried moving them to different controllers. I have tried downgrading the code and then upgrading the code. I have tried replacing the AP. I have tried swamping out cables. They are all connected to a 3750 stack but plugged into different switches in the stack. Here is the result that I could capture when I saw it disconnect from the controller. This is the output from the AP:
DTLS-5-SEND_ALERT: Send FATAL : Close notify Alert to 10.100.40.212:5246 *Jul 28 14:33:19.595: %WIDS-5-DISABLED: IDS Signature is removed and disabled. *Jul 28 14:33:19.597: %CAPWAP-5-CHANGED: CAPWAP changed state to DISCOVERY *Jul 28 14:33:19.597: %CAPWAP-5-CHANGED: CAPWAP changed state to DISCOVERY *Jul 28 14:33:19.655: %LINK-5-CHANGED: Interface Dot11Radio0, changed state to administratively down [ code].....
I have removed the ip addresses for security reasons.
I've got this weird problem with my AP. It keeps rebooting randomly. It happen to all the AP in my campus randomly. It happens recently. It have been commission for quite a long time. ie user able to connect and use it. its connect back to the controller to back in another campus. Below are the logs i gather.

I recently updated the firmware to 1.0.02 on my E4200 and since then it's been rebooting randomly about once a day. It was working perfectly fine before the firmware update.
I have a problem with my EA4500. Router permanently rebooting. - router is not visible on the network. Ping to 192.168.1.1 - loss of all packets; - hard reset (30/30/30) does not work.
I just bought an EA-4500 and i am having problems with rebooting the device. Every time I change a setting and the router reboots it never starts up again - and the logo LED doesn't flash, it is on constant. I have to cut the power and wait for about 15 minutes, and then it boots up fine - logo flashing and all.
I have a set up with an 5508 controller and some AP1141.i get this in the log

I have an E4200 v1 wireless router. Intermittently, my hard wired laptop (and hard wired desktop) loose Internet connnectivity and when I look at the 4200 I see the status light flashing slowly like it was just rebooted. I am runnong 1.0.04, have reset to factory, reflashed the 1.0.04 code and done a 30-30-30 reset (so far no drops since the 30-30-30 reset but we'll see).
I have 1242 Configured with 12.4.21a-ja1 and I have many of these. however I have 4 on the same location that have just started rebooting. The crashinfo logs ell me that cmd: PASSWORD statement not printed..Dont know if thats the issue....but something is wrong.. We are running SNMP and thats about it...
My E4200 is rebooting every time it sees traffic on any port, including the internet port. It does not reboot itself if there is nothing plugged in.
Already tried: soft reset (power off for 30 seconds), soft reboot via back panel button, hard reset (press reset for 30, unplug and hold reset for 30, plug in while holding reset for 30).
As I continue to have various issues with my revision A version of the DIR-825, does an updated firmware is in the works? Or has revision A been DE-supported by Dlink?
I'm still having issues with: Share port printer no longer being recognized/usable until router rebootedLoss/overload of router which causes all clients (wired and wireless) to loss connectivity Router rebooting itself periodically
About twice a week lately I'm having to reboot my router. All connections don't work. Logs captured don't show any time stamping so not as good as I was hoping but I do have some debug data:
an issue with my modem (i think) I currently cannot get an Internet connection on my computers via wifi for some reason iv tried resetting it but it seems to pick up all the PC's and then 5 minutes later it just drops out which is annoying cause it says that the modem is still receiving Internet and were not getting it iv also tried a new router but the same issue and the speed of Internet is basically halfed what do I do iv tried heaps but it's just ******* me off now
Why does my D-Link WBR 1310 Router constantly need rebooting? By rebooting I mean unplugging power source for 10-15 seconds then replugging it. This problem has been going on for the last 2-3 months.
