I got a wireless HP all-in-one PC and was able to connect to the Internet via the free Dlink wi-fi access point. Dlink no longer appears in the list of available networks. The network adapters are fine. I'm running Windows 7.

I've recently purchased a Linksys EA4500 router. I've got home, I've used the installation guide CD thingy, connected 3 of my laptops wirelessly, no issue there.However when I tried to connect my 4th laptop problems came along. The problem I was dealing with was that I couldn't connect to the router. I mean I could see the network name appearing in the list, but when I tried to connect the network would just dissapear from the list, not connect, and wouldn't back on the list unless I've reset the laptop. Anyhow I've ignored that computer because I thought it was two years old and it might have had a wireless network adaptor issue, although it was conneting with no problem to my former router D-Link DIR 365.Anyway, just yesterday I've purchesed a brand new netbook (Evolio U9) and it doesn't see my router, although it sees all the other connection availables (my neighbors' wirless networks), I even connected to one of them just to test if anything was wrong with the netbook.
I also have problems when trying to connect with an Iphone 4. Well, it does connect, but the connection to the iphone just goes on and off making it impossible to use. It's really strange that all the 3 Iphones in my home have no issue connecting, not even my Glaxy S3, nor any of the Smart Tvs, nor the printer.Does the router have any number of limited connections available? The router configuration is the ones done from the CD. I've only assign a SSID and a WPA password.Please note that all the computers above are GENIUNE Windows
use D_link wireless so how i have to download the software to use this wireless DWA_110 ?is there any free software for this?

No Qos engine is enabled.This happens when I'm working from home with a VPN tunnel from my pc to my companies network.I've tried to make a ticket on this on dlink support pages, but their support system only works on IE7, and the password is anyway rejected. how to solve the termination of my wifi ap?

My internet remains on my network cabled devices .I am running on an empty channel 3 , usually happens 20 to 60 minutes after the router is up . Dlink sent me a replacement refurbished one and this one is doing the same thing . When i click Connected Devices for My Network, i see a list of devices but everything indicates 'Offline' and that of course is incorrect.How can i upgrade this software? I recently installed EA6500 and due to being slow, it was recommended to set back to factory default. That process did no go well, so i hope it is not necessary again. All, except my TV, have been Windows 7 based machines. Smart Wi-Fi Device List has been able to "see" each device and I have been able to add them to that list as well.
I am attempting to add a Windows 8 desktop computer to the network which is using a external USB wireless adapter. That computer can see and connect to the network through the EA3500 and the connection seems to work fine. The only issue is that its adapter does not show up in the Device List.
1) Does the Device List do anything else besides showing a list of devices I chosen to add to my network?
2) How do I get my Windows 8 wireless adapter to show up in the Device List?
I am trying to set up two routers so that I can offer free wireless connectivity via three AP's in three adjoining rooms on a first floor and secured wireless and wired network connectivity in upstairs offices. The setup is like this:

The gateway modem/router is a Verizon DLink DSL 2750B with three ports connecting to three wired Access Points in three first floor adjoining rooms, and the 4th port connecting to a Cisco E1200 (wireless and ethernet router) located next to the Verizon Dlink. I would like the Verizon DLink to give open wireless connectivity via the access points and also connect to the adjacent E1200 router.
I would like the Cisco E1200 to offer secured wireless and ethernet connectivity to the upstairs offices. (connecterd to the Cisco E1200 is a 24 port Netgear switch.)I have spent considerable time talking with Verizon and Cisco/Linksys but have not been successful in just how to set this up.A former tech actually did have this setup but for what ever reason the settings were reset to factory defaults with no written record as to the necessary settings.
I have a vista, an xp, and a win7 computer networked. The xp is very temperamnetal, in that it randomly is accessible and just as randomly disappears. i often get the message "Computer (name) is not assessible...." The trouble is most acute in trying to access the xp machine from the win7.

After re-setting up, my wireless network always disappears when all my wireless computer/phone get off the network for several seconds. When I try to get my wireless connection again, none of my devices can detect it. In addition, the light of the wireless sign on my router is constantly on (blue), but no device can detect the it. View 7 Replies View RelatedI have a network with a Western Digital NAS. Several computers are on the network, some connected via ethernet cable and some via wireless. The NAS has several shares that are password protected so that only certain users can map to them - each PC has its own private share used for backup.
The problem device is a Fujitsu Seimens Amilo laptop with Vista as the OS. When trying to display a map of the full network it is unable to display one - I have tried all of the solutions described by the Vista help but none of them work.When using Map Network Drive and trying to browse for the NAS, nothing is seen - the only computer showing on the network is the Vista laptop. If I type in the share name using \nas_nameshare_name it won't connect but if I use the IP address, such as \192.168.0.101share_name, then it does connect. I enter the password, select Reconnect at logon and the drive is mapped.
If I put the laptop to sleep the drive is still mapped when it wakes. The drive remains mapped for as long as the laptop is on but if I reboot it then the drive is lost. In fact, there are two mapped drives, one with a password and one without. After a reboot the drive with the password is still showing, but as a disconnected drive (double clicking brings up the password entry screen, and then the drive will be mapped). The drive without the password just isn't there at all.

From the first time I set this up I have had problems in seeing all the folders I put onto the NAS drive for streaming to my TV and AV amp.Half of my music folders From the letter K upwards simply disappear from the menu view on my amp after I switch it off then back on the next time I want to listen to it. When I check the NAS drive on my PC, all the folders are still there but are not accessable downstairs on the amp.I can re-transfer the "missing" folders and it's fine till I next switch off and on again and its always from the same point that the folders are missing.The TV is also suffering from the same problems when I want to view photos and videos which are present in the drive upstairs but not visible on the menu on the TV (all missing on the TV!)Everything is connected with cat6 leads and I can stream internet radio (which is built into the amp) without any problems so it seems to me to be a communication problem between upstairs and downstairs.My house wiring has all the sockets on one ring main so that should be ok but I wondered if the router was not up to it with it not being a gigabit router.
just bought the DIr655 two weeks, everthing was fine except the wireless.almost every day around 6pm the wireless signal are disappear but the internet connection was fine with Lan, and i have to reboot the rounter inorder to get the signal back. i tried update the firmware but it it newest firmware on my rounter.

They do not appear in the archive, version tree or directory. We are meeting the minimum system requirements for running LMS 4.2.1 and we do not seem to have found any possible bugs related to this.
