iam opening a cyber cafe next week.i have one computer (main server) which is connected to 5 monitors by an device named Ncomputing device and software.i have one cpu which is connected to others monitors.my question is how to see other 5 computer" s activity by my host pc?

what is the ideal timeout for users when no activity is performed while connected to network via wireless

users get disconnected every 15mins when machine is Ideal and where do i see this option.
I have done so much research and tried almost everything on these forums, but still the internet wont load on my laptop. It is a Acer mini with Windows 7 starter. The other day the internet just stopped loading pages. It shows that it is connect to my router, and when I try to go to a page, it just says loading. I tried to connect with the ethernet chord from the modem and it does the same thing. I think there is a connection, but just wont load pages because the avast will update the virus definitions. I've tried to update the drive, reset the ipconfig. One thing I noticed is that the ip6v says not connected but the ip4v says internet. If I can do anything to get more info I surely will post it back up here, I just need to get my connection back up

They both access the router via wifi and wired, but neither appear in the device list any longer. I've rebooted the router twice, as well as both computers, disabled/re-enabled their wifi connections, but no effect.Every other non-Windows 8 device still appears normally under the device list.

I have several devices in a media closet (about 3 or 4 - Blu ray, DVR, ect) that only have wired ports. Since all these devices are right next to each other, I don't need to buy a wireless adapter for each one because that's just pointless. is there a way to have all 4 of these wired devices connect to a central device, which in turn this device connects to my wireless network? I know there is a way I just haven't been able to figure it out.And then, with this new device, is there some special way it has to be configured?

Once the computer turned on i want the option of which login for the current computer to use, it can login it current computer or the mutiples computer with their content/data all inside. So more like an computer linked. Example, it can only to A or B, A is the current computer data, while B have all the data of the different computer monitor datas, and if i login B it will show that current computer info. And same goes to the B computer, i can login to A or B on the B computer. What makes this very good is that, both the computer logins are sort of connected, for example if im on actual computer A, but logined to computer B and downloaded/changed some files/data on the B login, once i login on computer B to login B, the changes will apply even tho the changes are done in computer A.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a router that is capable of wireless N at 5.0GHz but can't run simultaneous with it's 2.4GHz band a/b/g (Cisco Linksys E2000), so I have a second router acting as gateway for my b/g devices (and a few wired only that are nearer to it). They are connected LAN port to LAN port with 50ft of cat6 and the DHCP server running on only one router. I know this is pretty standard for multiple access points, and it works very well. But I'm moving, and in the new house, the internet access will be on one floor with the wireless N router, and the other router will need to be in the basement on the opposite end of the house, and running networking cable through the floor and walls is just too much trouble. My question is, can I replace the previous wired method with a wireless N bridge attached to the LAN port of the router in the basement and have it function in the same way as it did when it was wired, with only the DHCP server running on the wireless N router, and all devices attached to either router able to see each other? I would assume so, but I would like to know from anyone who has experience with it before I go buying the bridge.

View 1 Replies View RelatedAs of last night my router has been producing slow connectivity when multiple users are connected to it, but it's perfectly fine when only one user is connected. I am on a laptop myself, but we also have a second laptop and a desktop where the modem and router are set up. I have upgraded the firmware so that is up to date. We have Comcast Fiber Optics so my internet speed is normally quite fast even when all of my computers are connected.
I am using DHCP Configuration. My Channel Width is set to 20 MHz and I am using Channel 11. The Security Mode is set to WPA Personal. I had it on WPA2 Personal but I read that changing to WPA Personal might work and so far it doesn't seem to have done anything. I set the Beacon Interval to 50, Fragmentation Threshold to 2304, and RTS Threshold to 2304. Everything else is set to the default factory configuration.
Just today I received a notice that said "Windows has detected an IP Address Conflict", but ever since I reinstalled the Firmware it hasn't come back. I've rebooted both my laptop and the desktop to confirm it hasn't come back as well. I've tried everything that I could think of including reconfiguring my router and restarting my modem as well.
I'm using a Linksys E1500 on my Timewarner 20Mbs connection and I've noticed that anytime another computer on my network connects my connection speed take a significant drop. This happens when Macs or PCs connect and there doesn't seem to be any common ground between any of them. In addition the connection is slow wether the other PCs are idle or downloading anything, it seems to make no difference. my ping in any game drops from 70 to 500 just for 2 other PC being on at the saem time on the network.

All users on the network get something between 20% and 60% packet loss, only when this user's laptop is connected. View 2 Replies View RelatedIt started happening back in around November, my sister and my computer would start freezing occasionally, slurring the audio into a robotic sound, eventually to come to.It gradually got worse, and I assumed it was a graphics card problem since it would freeze ONLY SOMETIMES and say that the graphics driver stopped working and has recovered. It usually didn't say that, though.Lately though, I noticed that when it would freeze sometimes the internet would go out for some connected devices, such as the Xbox 360. The only computer that was NEVER affected by this is the one connected directly by Ethernet to the Netgear router, (every other device is WiFi.)
Sometimes even, my sister and mine would freeze simultaneously. It was a sort of rare occurrence, though.I very lately started to notice that it would freeze when trying to load internet components with larger amounts of data, such as server console logs, Flash videos, and Soundcloud players. What threw me off is that it would sometimes freeze in programs like FL Studio or Windows Media Player... It's possible I guess that the programs were unrelated and what caused the freeze is SOMETHING sending/receiving corrupt packets.
Earlier today my modem died so I looked around and found an old modem (D-Link DSL-300T) lying around so I decided to use that one instead of purchasing a new one.It always worked great in the past, but when I tried it today I can only find a connection on this computer (garbage computer), the other 2 computers in my network can't connect to the internet, they can't even connect to the network at all.Oh and the router I'm using is a D-Link DIR-100. This computer is running windows XP, so is another one in the network and the one I want the connection to work on is running windows 7.
