How To Login To Multiple Computer With Current One
Jul 22, 2012I currently have mutiple computers at my place. Once the computer turned on i want the option of which login for the current computer to use, it can login it current computer or the mutiples computer with their content/data all inside. So more like an computer linked. Example, it can only to A or B, A is the current computer data, while B have all the data of the different computer monitor datas, and if i login B it will show that current computer info. And same goes to the B computer, i can login to A or B on the B computer. What makes this very good is that, both the computer logins are sort of connected, for example if im on actual computer A, but logined to computer B and downloaded/changed some files/data on the B login, once i login on computer B to login B, the changes will apply even tho the changes are done in computer A.

Feb 10, 2013I'm using a Linksys E1500 on my Timewarner 20Mbs connection and I've noticed that anytime another computer on my network connects my connection speed take a significant drop. This happens when Macs or PCs connect and there doesn't seem to be any common ground between any of them. In addition the connection is slow wether the other PCs are idle or downloading anything, it seems to make no difference. my ping in any game drops from 70 to 500 just for 2 other PC being on at the saem time on the network.

Oct 2, 2012I want to connect my ps3, sky hd+ box and samsung smart tv. Upstairs is my wireless router and I have connected to this by using a power supply networking adaptor (duvelo). I have since purchased a cheap ethernet switch from ebay and plugged this into the power adaptor connection next to my ps3, sky hd+ and samsung smart tv downstairs. I thought by connecting these 3 devices to the switch (which is connected to the duvelo adaptor) I could have all 3 devices simultaneously connected online. However, I still can only have 1 ethernet cable in the switch at once and hence only connect 1 device at a time.

Oct 13, 2012I can't connect to one website. Not on my computer, not on my father's computer. I think the network is the problem, which is why I'm posting here. The website was working even yesterday but during yesterday evening, it stopped working and it's been like that since. I don't know how to fix it. My command prompt says my server can't find that one website and says my server failed. I tried other things like scan my computer, restart it, look at my Chrome settings, my firewall settings, nothing worked. But, this set up only allows the PC that is turned on first to connect to the internet. Am I using the hub wrong? Do I need another piece of equipment? Nov 4, 2012I have a 4402 which is connected to a 4506 Switch int Gig 3/1 via a trunk port. The Managment and AP-manger interfaces are on vlan 6 [code] I have a 1142N AP also connected to the switch and it pulls a DHCP IP Address and configs etc and registers to the WLC. It too is on Vlan 6 and it is connected to the 4506 on int gig 4/33 which is an access port. [code] I am doing local authentication, so i have added users to the WLC.. My problem is that the first client that connected was able to get an IP address and connect to anything internal and external.I then connected another client on another laptop and that client could connect but not get an IP address, it just self assigned.When i look at the clients i can see the MAC address of both Clients on the WLC, but doing a show mac address-table dynamic i only see the MAC of the client that works properly. The client that doesnt get an IP has no entry in the 4506 switch.I am stumped, from what I understand, is that the 2nd clients traffic is being trunked to the WLC , hence it has the MAC address. But I dont know why its not getting a DHCP assigned IP address.

Oct 21, 2012how i can configure a second ssid for guest access in our environment. this is our network setup prior to this request: Internet----Firewall (not ASA)---ce520---C1131AG and CME router is also connecting to the ce520 switch. we only have two vlans: one for voice and two for data.
Presently, there is no vlan configured on the AP because it on broadcasting ont ssid and wireless users gets IP from a windows DHCP server on the LAN. the configuration on the ce520 switch port for the AP and other switches say access vlan is the DATA vlan which automatically becomes the native vlan for all trunk port connecting the AP and other Stiches to the network.
Now with this new requirement, i have made my research and i have configured the AP to broadcast both the production and the guest Vlans. The two vlans are 20-DATA and 60-Guest. I made the DATA vlan on the AP the native vlan since the poe switch is using the DATA vlan as native on the trunk ports. I configured the firewall to serve as DHCP server for the guest ssid and i have added the ip helper-address on the guest vlan interface on all switches while the windows server remains the dhcp server for the production DATA Vlan. I have confirmed that the AP, switches can ping the default gateway of the guest dhcp server which is another interface on the firewall. I can now see and connect to all broadcasted ssids but the problem is I am not getting IP addresses from both the production dhcp server and guest dhcp server when i connected to the ssid one at a time. My AP config is attached below.
Do i need to redesign the whole network to have a native vlan other nthan the data vlan? Does the access point need to be aware of the voice vlan? Do the native Vlan on the AP need to be in Bridge-group 1 or can i leave it in bridge-group 20?

I have 2 questions:
1. Can I have 5 Interfaces configured on 5 different VLANs, each SSID on each a different Port:
Port 1: Controller management only=> 192.168.x.x /24
Port 2: SSID 1: WiFi Internal=> 172.16.x.x/12 (Radius Auth with no sharing)
Port 3: SSID 2: WiFi Internal w/ sharing=> 192.168.x.x/24 (Radius Auth with sharing)
Port 4 :SSID 3: WiFi Guest=> 10.0.x.x/8 (Web Auth)
Port 5: SSID 4: WiFi IT=> 192.168.x.x/24 ( Radius or certificate Auth with access to the controller management interface)
2. How can I use the Controller as the DHCP server for all the WiFi traffic, and how should that be configured to work with my other DHCP server?

Computer Won't Connect But Everything Else Will
Jul 19, 2012Got a sky hub, its new and everything connects to it, all be it but one tower, it can find it and now and again it may conect with no or limited etc etc had the same problem with our last internet hub (BT) so its defo the computer as we also changed the Netgear USB adapter to a different tower unit and it connected, so it isnt the Sky hub and it isnt the wireless dongle. computer is running vista, i have disabled the security and it didnt work, i have uninstalled and reinstalled the software for the usb dongle a hundred times.it did once connect to the net this morning in my many attempts of fiddling and after the computer restarted it wont anymore. a medium strength moderately priced pint of your choice is the reward, subject to location and availability
