When a friend sends me an email with a link to click on when I click on ther link a blank page pops up with the words "404 not found". Why does this happen and is it a big problem. This problem just started to happen a few weeks ago. I never had a problem whenever a friend sent me an email with a link to click on.

I don't know when this problem started as I hadn't needed to log into my router in over a year. I tried resetting it and still can not go to the log in page. View 10 Replies View RelatedI've had two 932Ls for a year and they work fine. Both installed trouble-free and have been used with motion-detection wirelessly. I often go straight to their local IPs in my browser to make any changes to settings etc (avoiding myDlink). I just bought two 930Ls (don't need/want the IR-function on these) and tried to install them. Process went seemingly smooth but once the camera was installed and wireless, problems started to crop up. As I saved settings in the web interface, I would get 404 "page not found" errors. Refreshing would make it work again...sometimes. More often than not, I cannot reach it through the web interface and the camera reads "disconnected" in D-ViewCam. It usually works on myDlink though. i've checked all the network and wireless settings and they are identical to my 932Ls. The connection is just unstable for some reason. The problems are apparent in the web interface and D-ViewCam which also means I can't trust the motion detection and emailing function. It is also NOT visible in my Windows 7 network environment, whereas the two 932Ls (and my entire Sonos network) do show up there.The 930L is running firmware 1.04 and the 932Ls are running 1.02. I know there is a 1.06 available but before I try that I'd like to get your views on this problem. Could it be a faulty unit? I don't want to fight through this problems - if it persists I'd rather return the cameras and buy two more expensive 932Ls and just turn off the IR in the interface. Or is this a known issue with the 1.04 firmware?
Even writing this right now, the camera suddenly popped back up on the web interface inexplicably, without me doing anything. and back up on D-View Main Console.
I have a WAP321 here, which is running at firmware version 1.0.3.4. The E-Mail Alert setup works for me, meaing I receive notification E-Mails from the Access Point. I am wondering however, why those E-Mails are blank, meaning, I only receive header information (to, from, date, subject) but no body content. I was expecting to receive the error message as content of the E-Mail Alert.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a ticket active with Cisco TACS Support but after 3 days and a complete uninstall and reinstall I am getting nowhere. I cannot let TACS into the server and I cannot post unsanitized logs for security reasons.I installed LMS 4.0 with the Win2K8 patch on Win2K8R2 64 bit server. No problems during a 2nd install (first one was completely removed per TACS). Checked all Windows event logs and windows firewall log. AV disabled. No other roles installed accept IIS (disabled) and DHCP (active). Ports are default HTTP: 1741 and SSL: 443.load site from server (IE 8) or workstation (IE 7) cookies enabled, and login with "admin" and the proper password and each browser quickly loads a blank page with this URL:

We want to start to capture the minimum data from a user that logs onto the guest wireless ( email address ) and would like to use the check email function on the controller - BUT - at the same time move from using the web bundle locally hosted splashpage on the controller to an external web server provided splashpage / walled garden.
From my understanding not sure that this is possible as the email check function is only valid in passthrough I think.

I have a new router. this seems to be a very simple problem relating to the most basic configuration options.
Hardware Version: A1 Firmware Version : 1.01NA
go to SETUP -> "NETWORK SETTINGS"
change "Router IP Address" to 192.168.73.1
change "DHCP IP Address Range" to: 192.168.73.10 : 192.168.73.200
Save Changes Wait for reboot. change my client system's local IP address... so that I can reconnect. direct web browser to http://192.168.73.1/
seen: login page has a select-box for a userid, but no text inside. there is no prompt to ask me to login. I press enter (or whatever... I login). every form interface on all web pages looked at have no labels on text boxes.
I did a view source... and used web-dev tools to look at the page. it looks like the apparent js function, show_words(), is not defined.
change ip address and dhcp address range back to default save changes. wait for reboot. reverse changes to local system things are back to normal. login page has useful text. after logging in, there is something to read.
looking at source again. I see, now, that the js function "show_words" is defined in a file called public.js.
I recently received a new router from my broadband company TalkTalk calld Huawaei HG533 Broadband wireless N ADSL 2+ Router which i have physically connected to my home pc. The reason for this was because with my current router, Belkin, when ever i turned on my PC and clicked on IE i would get an error saying IE cannot display webpage and i would have to close IE/Chrome and re-open it and it would display my home page. When i did a google search for gaming sites it would not show it and would again say IE canot display web page. Only after i restarted my machine or router it would work which is terribly anoying.
After initial use of my new router it seemed fine, i was not getting any problems however the above problem seemed to have re-occure again. I've noticed that when i turn on my PC for the first time use and load up IE or Chrome i would get an error saying IE cannot display webpage and would have to either restart the router or PC for it to load my home page. Again, when i do a search for gaming sites it would display the web address and appropirate logo but not the website. It's terribly annoying because i have do this process every single time even though it's a new router. To trouble shoot i've tried to log in as admin and channgel to channel from 1 to 6 which did not work so i changed it back to 1. Can somebody suggest a possible reason why i'm getting these problems and why i have to always close IE or restart my pc/router for it to resolve?
when i right click nic (the double computer icon) properties in my windows server 2003 nothing is displayed. It shows as if it is going to log off but returns as usual without showing any properties.

The problem is email server (Company A) cannot connect to email gateway (Company B) on the outside network and it randomly happen. I got this error from server guy "Detail: xlate has blocked the connection between A’s mail gateway and B’s mail gateway". It work fine again after clear xlate on firewall. [code]
1. How FWSM create xlate table like that? I mean it look like NAT0 for 158.137.21.26 but it doesn't has any nat rule for 158.137.21.26 on firewall.
2. What does it mean "connections 24" at the first of line? In the normal time, I only see the connections is 0 like the second line of xlate
3. After clear xlate global 158.137.21.26, the first line of xlate table is gone then email server can connect each other. Does is a bug on FWSM? or This is a normal NAT behavior of FWSM.

Just setting up and testing a Cisco 891-K9 router. Used CCP for basic setup, figure I'll tweak any settings needed later.For the firewall, I chose the default "medium" security setting in CCP, then added some holes (already setup in NAT) for outside access in.
Now on to the real question:I noticed that I am now unable to click through google search results. On any borwser. Clicking on any search result simply loops back around to the same google search page. If I disable Javascript on the browser, everything works as expected. So it appears that the firewall is preventing something in google's scripts from redirecting and "clicking through" to the final destination page.
I'm familiar with our old Pix firewall commands, but still a relative newcomer to the zone based firewall and commands for this new 891, (relevant Config pasted below) (Gi0 is the WAN interface)

Captcha is now gone (I read it was flawed anyway), and no option to turn it back on (I'd do anyway).So I'm looking for the older firmware that I was using for a year or so, which was 4.11. I found it and downgraded to it (actually, this was on another DIR615 rev.D), and guess what? No catpcha in that either!As far as I remember, I was using 4.11-B04 (but not sure, really), whatever it means, and now I only find 4.11-B02 everywhere.Is it possible that those FWs with buggy captcha have been removed from FTP servers worldwide?
View 5 Replies View RelatedI've got JDownloader running on my HTPC and access it via VNC.The problem with Click'n'Load (CNL) is, JD only listens on localhost:9666 for incoming traffic, and the browser applications only send traffic to localhost:9666, so I can't use CNL with the VNC connection.I have to redirect my PC's localhost:9666 to the HTPC's localhost:9666
I've read up on SSH tunnels, but failed to set one up to work. I also know this could be done with iptables, but don't know how. Do you know a solution to make a connection between both local 9666 Ports? Traffic would have to be redirected from the PC listening on localhost:9666 to the HTPC, making it available at localhost:9666 and vice versa.
I can't get the email to work from the router. It worked flawlessly for weeks then stopped working. I verified that the outgoing settings are still valid and that my antivirus is not blocking the email.
View 7 Replies View RelatedUp to this point, all the computers on the network accessed the e-mail server via the Windows name of the PC running the e-mail server. However, one of the PCs will need to access e-mail from the WAN soon as opposed to the LAN, so I switched the server name in Thunderbird (e-mail client) to the actually fully qualified domain name of the server (registered at NO-IP, which redirects to the e-mail server at home).
The problem I am running into is that all the requests sent for IMAP or SMTP are being blocked by the router. That's even though I added port forwarding rules for them. The logs show messages similar to the following:
"Blocked incoming TCP connection request from 216.168.101.68:51291 to 216.168.101.68:143"
It doesn't make a difference if I change the endpoint filtering to "Endpoint Independent" either. Any thoughts of what else I can try? DMZ is not an option.
I have been trying to setup my DIR-655 A4 (Firmware 1.34NA) router to send me email notifications on new firmwares, when the log is full and every Saturday. So I have a schedule already created for sending the emails on Saturday and I also have the option to send notification of new firmware checked. Its not in a spam folder either.I do have the DIR-655 behind a 2wire router/DSL modem.
