I'm having an issue with my wifi connection. Since 3-4 hours i can't access internet, although my router configuration page says that adsl is ok. But then i noticed that the download of ubuntu through p2p client continued working. I've also tried with another pc and with two different wifi adapters, but unfortunately i can't try wired connection.

The light is lit up on the router and it even says i have a full three bars on my ipod that im using it with, yet when i try to go on the internet on my ipod it says that im not connected to the internet.I looked on the internet and most websites said to type 192.168.1.1 into your address bar and change some stuff around. The only problem is that when i did this it didn't work and nothing loaded up.

The network still appears on my computer and I can connect to it, however Internet pages will not load. This lasts for hours, sometimes days. If I unplug the modem from the router and connect directly to the modem via Ethernet, everything works fine! I have tried unplugging everything for 1 minute then plugging it back in and it does nothing.

At the moment it keeps fluctuating between giving me interne and not I am using Skype to tell me if I have Internet ( when it's green I do when it's grey I don't) I have tried many things on forums like obtaining ip automatically or obtaining a fixed ip. I've tried renewing the ip and all this doesnt work.

View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen I look at the "network and sharing" page it saying that I'm connected same goes for the "Wireless Network Connection Status" page (which says "internet" in the "IPv4 connectivity" and "no internet access" in the "IPv6 connectivity"). But when the computer has to update It'll say "no internet access" and when i go on Internet Explorer it won't say anything instead the green loading bar on the bottom of the page will be stuck in the middle.

My belkin 54G was working few years now. Just hours ago, I try to connect my iphone 3GS with belkin wifi. I go to the 192.168.2.1 (on my laptop - wifi), MAC address filtering and enable it. After insert my iphone 3gs ip address i press OK.
Here's the nightmare begin, after minutes. My internet connection is not working both on my laptop (wifi working but not internet) and the PC facing problem on internet connection. i try login again 192.168.2.1, hoping can restore it but it fail to load the page.
how to restore it?
Below is the screenshot of what I did.
1. my ipconfig show new IP address, 169.254.242.229. i try using this address to access but fail to load.
2. ping 192.168.2.1 but unreachable.
3. detail of my network connection details.
4. set my TCP/IP properties
5. ipconfig manage to change it and ping working now.
6. to my disappointment, 192.168.2.1 still not working. can't enter it's web interface.
My ISP is sending the signal because my other computers are working and so is my wireless from my router. I just installed XP on my new hard drive. The graphics seem a bit off, but w/e. I tried connecting directly to the modem, and I don't get any sign that I'm connected.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI've got a wireless connection in my house going through a Linksys WRT54GC router and also a wired connection with Cisco gateway (only 1 laptop uses it). About 1 month ago some strange things began to happen with the wireless connection, my PC seems not to be able to connect unless I reinstall the protocols and it's really annoying to do that every time I run my PC. Also, the wired connection stopped working (probably because of cable being broken) but it requires a router restart 90% of the time when I want to connect the laptop (that used to connect through cable) to the wireless network. The 2nd laptop has an issue mentioned in the title, the LAN works but it can't connect to the Internet through the router. Ipconfig /all shows that DHCP isn't working, there's no default gateway and DNS seems to be wrong. Could that all be related to router not being updated for a long time? I tried reinstalling drivers, unistalling and installing back network card and doing most of the things mentioned in similar threads but nothing seems to work.

Facebook and Wikipedia work, as well as ALL Google sites (including YouTube, Gmail, Google News, etc.). Nothing else I have tried to load is loading properly. 2. It could be a coincidence, but these three sites were also my Firefox bookmarks. However, I have reset the default settings for Firefox (including bookmarks) and these three sites still work and nothing else. Additionally, these three sites load in Internet explorer, so the problem isn't specific to Firefox. 3. I don't believe it's a problem with my router/internet connection because I have another computer on the same connection that's working fine (I'm typing this message on the other computer). 4. I successfully pinged other websites using Command.5. I suspect it MIGHT be malware/virus because I have no anti-virus/anti-malware software on the computer that's having problems.

My Vista notebook, ipad3, ipod touch, android based phone and blackberry are all able to connect to the wifi, but my desktop is unable to connect to the wifi or ethernet. I set up Anyconnect on ASA5510 and enabled secure connect in CUCM. I did everything as written in jabber for android administration guide and end user guide. But when secure connect configured on my mobile, secure connect entry never created even though I entered all correct parameters such as gateway address, authentication group, username and password. Provided that jabber is working fine internally
ASA log says:

I succeeded in connecting via Anyconnect app on iPhone. So I believe Anyconnect Vpn connection has no problem. License checked.

The internet seems to be not working on my ipod touch. It is working on my laptop, but whenever I type in the password for my internet on the ipod, it says unable to join the network. I am 100% sure it is the right password.

I called my internet provider and we spent hours trying to figure it out and it wouldnt work. So they told me it was the computer. my daughter got a new laptop and we plugged the cable into her computer and the internet worked perfectly. I contacted emachines but they charge me for customer service.
