[code] I have tried to configure this setup and have had no luck,and in the proccess have learned enough about networking to be really dangerous to my equipment. Is the problem DHCP? or incorporating MAC routing with IP routing? I'm pretty sure I've managed to program one of my keyboard buttons into a World Delete Function,.

I unplugged my old Roku and hooked the new one and no problem. Just can't hook both up at once. Is there something I should be doing to enable this? I am allowed 4 computers through my network.

Then click next, where it says "Searching Networks", then quickly changes to "Connecting to Network", and then it says it "Cannot Find Router.". Err. Check setup, etc.If I hook up directly to new router VIA internet cable. I have looked on notes to add a switch to an existing stack and haven’t identified answers on how the IOS will be affected on the new switch – will it downgrade to the current stack version or will the current stack upgrade to its version. At this moment in time I would prefer if the new switch IOS downgraded to the current stack IOS version.The new switch is a 3750V2 – will this affect how it joins the stack?The new switch has the image of IPBASEK9-M – again will this affect how it joins the stack?
I am having an issue with adding a c3750x switch to an existing switch stack Currently there is 2 x WS-C3750X-48P and I am trying to add another WS-C3750X-48P to this switch I have cabled the switch to the stack using the stack cables and added the command to provision the switch on the exisitng stack. However when I turn the switch on it just goes on its own stack.
I noticed the new switch had a later version of IOS so have downgraded this to the same version as the other switches but still no joy Here is the sh ver from the exisitng stack

I am attempting to add and Catalyst 3750 - 12 port Gigabit switch to an existing stack of 3750 48 port switches (non-X fabric). I am not sure how to proceed. These are the two questions/thoughts I have. Any additional perspective I should have before proceeding.
What kind of configuration should I apply to the Gig switch before adding it to the stack?I am sure I will need to assign priority to the new switch, ideally, it will act as master.

And the thing is I am not sure to how? have the USB device plugged into a USB port and it works so far, I have an Ethernet cable going out of my 1 of 2 LAN ports my motherboard has in to the first LAN port on the router not the WAN port, as stated by other forums.This is as far as I've gone with this. I wondered if it's possible to plug it into the wired hub ( I have in my basement where the wireless is somewhat weak) to get the signal a bit stronger down here?I guess the operative terminology is 'wireless access point' I've found some instructions but they all say to connect the access point directly to the gateway via cat-5.. hoping I can do so with a hub. If not.. could I just switch the hub and the access point in the setup?

- Wireless MAC filter is enabled with only approved MAC's
- Wireless SID Broadcast is disabled
The secondary Router WRT54GS V1 (Router B) will be located down stairs with no Ethernet cable between the two routers.
- Will need this secondary router to connect to the existing wireless network Router A wirelessly.
- Will need to have internet access.
- Will need to have the wired ports to have internet access as well. Needed to connect the Home A / V receiver to update A / V firmware.
