I am trying to configure multiple dsl-groups on a HWIC-4SDHSL-E module and the option does not exist. According to the Cisco documentation I should be able to do this, but I only get pairs as an option.

I had found a document that I thought would take me through the configuration but it doesn't appear that the command syntax is the same on the 2911's as it is in the document. Does any know how I would need to get this configured on the 2911 router?

I see not hits.I placed the rule on top of my access list to check if I do somethink wrong but it is not working. When I place only a service for example tcp/23 it is working.

We have a situation where services are stopped on the real servers. The probes fail and we confirm the services are not running on the server. We cannot access the ports from the ACE directly. We can still however acces the VIP on the TCP port (L4 VIP class-map). So we can still telnet to the VIP on the port from thr Client side of the network.This is on ACE 20 Modules deployed in Routed mode. The version of software is A2(3.3).
Tried removing multi-match and loadbalance policies as well as class-map and re-applying then re-appyling the service policy to interface. Same behavior,This is a problem at another level as some services are being monitored by GSS via TCP keep-Alive and this obviuosly causes a problem as the service then never goes off-line.

trying to configure 2 cisco routers (3620 and 2501) Im using a RJ45 to DB9 cable and trying to see it in Tera Term. Nothing shows up in the terminal, and i cant even enter any imput. Ive tried hot-plugging into it, tried powering it up after making the connection, 3 different cables, 2 different computers (2 coms apiece-tried both) and every possible baud speed including the recommended 9600. (with no parity or flow control) the lights on the routers all come on and from what ive read they are not blinking out an error code. Ive also tried plugging the RJ45 into the AUX instead of CON and still, no cigar. BTW- running WinXP on Pentium4 2.53Ghz and 1G of RAM.

My setup is as followsr1 > TS > 2009-2621XM 2010-3825-R1 2011-3825-R2I can connect from the TS to any of the devices. The issue is that I am telnet'd to r1 and from there telnet'd to the TS. So when I type "Crtl+Shft+6, x" I go directly back to r1 and not the TS. Furthermore if I resume the session on r1 the TS is still connected to whatever session I was in prior to disconnecting. I've experimented with the disconnect and escape characters but I'm at a loss what it is that changes this.

I prefer Cisco terminal servers because of the ease and standard use of it.For a new project layout, I was given a opengear IMX4216. The terminal console is web based and I just dont like it(certain key-strokes not going through, terminal window size, etc).The project already has a separate PDU for remote power management, therefore this is simply being used as a remote serial console server.If I had to purchase the device for a similar purpose, I would not mind it, I guess. But to run it in prod, I'm not very fond of it!

View 1 Replies View RelatedI am running ASA 5505 release 8.2(4) using a clientless SSL vpn to connect my assessors to the server via RDP to a Terminal server. Everything was working fine until last week when we had a Internet outage. During the outage some of the assessors claimed to have accepted a Cisco add-on to get into the site. once the internet came backup they could not connect to the terminal servers - what would happen is they would click on the link - say OK to connect the clipboard and the screen would pause for a few seconds then right back to the select options page.
they can get to other servers (non-terminal servers) but not to the ones they need. I can recreate the issue by waiting a REALLY long time before replying to a prompt to install an cisco add-on. I have users that can connect and others than can not. Also this only seems to affect Internet Explorer 8 and 9 does not affect Firefox

I need the extra router so that I could use some 3rd party hardware which can only be configured in D-link and Tp-link brand routers. I do not want to change the ONT system to the standard modem router system because the ONT also supports a system of internet phones. I'm curious if this is possible at all because a repair tech. told me that you could use the router as a transformer but so far it is not working. I'm really unfaimilar with the ONT configuration so I don't know if this plan can actually work . So far the router can not recieve a WAN connection and therefore can not obtain a Ip address.

View 0 Replies View RelatedWe currently have 8 1242's and they all work fine, however we recently baught one 2nd hand one which was previously connected to a WLC, it lights up fine but it wont detect in IPSU even though the dhcp has assigned an IP to it. I would like to login through the web page to configure it but I am not able to do that either. It responds to ping fine though. So I no longer wont it be a LAP, so I tried to console in, to run flash_init etc. but when I try and give the <ESC> command (during the flash loader) it just carries on and ignores all input. I have used the correct settings Baud rate 9600, no parity, no flow control , databits 8, etc. but nothing happens it just goes through the boot and then asks me to press enter to input. i can then browse the directories and rename files. but I just cant get it to holt the loader so I can reset, I tried rename of config.txt and env_vars but that has't worked either. It keeps stating that it is looking for LWAPP/CAPWAP but unfortunately we don't have a WLC Is there another way I can reset it or is there some magic way in whic I can send the ESC command.
