when any user logs into LMS #1, GUI says "user not authorized to view devices". All of my users are set to "full permissions" so it seems to be some disconnect here. I'm using ACS for auth, that seems to be working OK. I have a second system LMS#2, setup exactly the same, which works properly, all "full permission" users can access all device menus.

From what I have been able to find out I should be able to go do Monitor> Fault Settings> Setup> Fault Device Details, select a device, click View and then click the device name link.Unfortunately the device name(s) displayed are not links, just text.

I am trying to figure out why the Device view has no systlogs in Cisco Prime 4.1.I have everything configured, the switch is sending debugging level logs to the IP of the Prime Server. I am fairly certain it is reporting because it has alot of other information in the server.

View 1 Replies View RelatedSetup my DCS-930L for DDNS (Dynamic Domain Name Server) so I can access the DCS-930L via the Internet (couldn't access the camera half the the time while on vacation using mydlink) and can now access the camera using my laptop, Android Thrive, and Motorola Droid 3 via the URL I've created but can only see the video when using the laptop.
I have the DCS-930L set to Java but when I log into the camera with the Thrive or Droid 3 (both Android devices) I don't get video. I can make changes to the camera settings and everything else you can do when logged into the camera but just can't see the video. If I change the 'View Mode' in the video setup to 'Image', I will get a picture on all three devices (Thrive, Droid 3, and laptop).What do I need on the Droid 3 & Thrive so I can see the video when I log into the DCS-930L with an Android device?
I currently have 2 e4200 wireless routers. The first router is connected to 3 devices via ethernet, and the 4th port is connected to my other e4200v2 which is set as bridge mode. The main router is at one end of the house, the second bridge mode router is at the other end.My wireless devices are connected to the main e4200v2, along with all the wired clients.
When wirelessly connected to the 2nd e4200 (the bridged one) I cannot connect to or ping any wireless clients that are connected to the main router. (For example, in my bedroom I am connected with my computer to the 2nd bridged router, and I am trying to ping my other computer that is wireless connected to the main router. I am unable to ping to this computer. When I am conected wirelessIy to the mian router, than I am able to ping the other wireless computer on the same router. Note:I am able to access any hard wired devices to the main router, regardless of which router I am connected to. The issue only appears to be when trying to connect to a wireless device that is connected to a different router than the device I am connecting from.Both routers are setup on the same subnet mask with firmware Ver.2.1.39.145204
I am trying to setup 4 cameras to view with remote live view. I set up my server with IP addresses of 192.168.1.80 .... 85. The screen has only the option for 1 video channel. I have seen on-line screen shots that have options for channel 1 through 8. I want to assign each camera to a different channel so I will be able to use remote live view to show all 4 cameras at the same time. I can only show one at a time. Do I need a different version than 3.3 or some obscure windows 7 setting?

These devices are discovered, reachable, SNMP works fine, neighbors seen. But when we try to launch acquisition, the UT utility complains with this error message:"Failed to start acquisition: Device unreachable. Please enter a valid device."When we wanted to add ports via Device Trap Configuration, LMS has fired a different error message: "There are no ports to configure for the selected device(s).Check whether you have selected any router(s)." I have checked the portsData.xml file, which doesn't have any ports included for the two devices: [code] We have tried to exclude / include the switches in the data collection, but that didn't work.

I have three computers wired to it and their Host names (as specified in the set-up of each computer) show up in the router's DHCP device table. I also have two printers (one old Brother HL5250DN laser printer and one new HP Photosmart Premier C410a inkjet printer) connected and there are blanks where the Host name should go. I would like to be able to tell which printer is which when I am looking at the DHCP device table. How can I get a names associated with each printer's IP address in the router's DHCP device table? (The real problem is that the router seems to have both printers at the same IP address (192.168.1.100) and if I can get one of them to change I'd like to know which one it was!)

We have approximately 500 devices in DCR, most of them are small switches ranging from Catalyst 2950 to Catalyst 3750, and also a bunch of Nexus 5548 switches.CiscoView is not working for any of them, we get an error message which we cannot interpret. We have updated to the newest possible device packages, but all to no avail.

In LMS 3.1 it is displayed in the Device Center summary section, but I cant find it in LMS 4.2 Device Center.
The regular problem with the LMS topology and WAN Links when you see the branches are disconnected from the HQ BUT in my case the branches are already connected via Layer2 links but unfortunately some intermediate layer2 modem/switch exist in some branches which prevent CDP discovery but you will find both HQ and branch router in the same subnet .

Every computer on my network will not allow me to go on hackforums.net . I have not added it to a firewall or anything. I was in a coffee shop where I know there was a strong signal, but nothign showed up. View 14 Replies View RelatedI've just setup my router and dvr system. I have my DVR wired to a Linksys E1200 router. At home view by using url....it then prompts me to log in and voila I can view. I tried setting up the port forwarding although I'm not sure if I did it correctly or not. I got onto my routers webpage. Went to "applications & gaming" Named port, selected both, put in DVR's ip address and clicked save. Came to work and tried to view it and I just get the "cannot load webpage" page.
