I´m looking for an IOS on a 7609 SUP720/MSF3 that supports the NAT-PT feature (IPv4 to IPv6 translation). I searched on the Cisco Feature Navigator but the tool didn´t show up any IOS for the 760x platforms. I only got the feature "NAT-PT: Support for Overload (PAT)" with IOS 15.xS train.
View 2 RepliesI am trying to bridge the traffic(including different vlan traffic) from rtrA to rtrB using "bridge-group" functionality.I achived the same using a 7200 using the below configuration. [code] When I tried the same using 7600 router ping failed between rtrA and rtrB. Then from the documents it seems "bridge irb" is not supported in 7600.Is there any other way we can achieve the same fuctionality ( eg: using switchport also fine) ?

I am having problems with IGMP and QoS on CAT6500 platform with SUP720 engine.The problem is, it seems that all IGMP packets are getting marked with DSCP 48 when sent out of the switch regardless of any input service policy. I found several articles saying that PFC QoS does not apply to IGMP packets. However in IOS 15 that should be possible, but I didn't get it to work there either. [code]

The device is running OSPF (it is in an NSSA). I have several other devices configured almost the same running the same IOS in my network and they are working fine.This does make the third out-of-box 3560C Cisco that has failed on me within a few days.
I know that an ELAM can be setup on a 6500 running ipservices 12.2(33)SXJ, however I noticed that following commands are not available on a 6500 router running advipservices 12.2(33)SXJ:show platform capture elam asic etc
So I wanted to know if there is an alternate way to setup an ELAM for troubleshooting purposes?
We have 2 x C6506E and 2 x C3560-48's, they are all interconnected via port channels at 2Gb per channel. The 6506's are running CEF but the 3560's are not (The 3560's carry all our server traffic).When I do a show CEF on the 3560's it says %IPv4 CEF not running. There does not appear to be a global command to enable CEF on these switches.Is this an IOS version option or is not supported on the hardware platform?

I have been working on some Catalyst 3750's running 12.2(55)SE6 and hit an issue with CEF load-balancing over multiple equal-cost paths. Anyway this issue is now solved but it introduced me to the command 'show platform forward' - this shows you how the forwarding of a packet would be done via hardware cef (as opposed to the command 'sho ip cef exact-route' command that only shows the software cef path). Anyway I tried the command on a 3560G running 15.0(2)SE and it crashes the switch. I tried it a couple of times and verified that the MAC & IP addresses were exactly right in the command and each time the switch crashes. I have extracted the relevant bits from the crashinfo and attached them.

I know that Flexible Net flow is only available on newer releases with some newer hardware. Flexible Net flow gives you the ability to provide full support for Netflow v9 as well as IPFIX.
However, the documentation indicates that Net flow v9 is still supported in the SR code. So I am just trying to find out what are the limitations in how Net flow v9 is implemented without "Flexible Net flow". The Cisco TAC was unable to provide me any documentation about this.

I have both ipv4 and Ipv6 config on all the three hops. Between Cisco and Sami module, I have the Ip config on vlan interface 1400(say). Its not on a physical interface obviously, I can ping ipv5 from DUT to Sami IPv4 address. But Ipv6 doesnt work. If I add a sttic route to DUT network on SAMI, show ipv6 route does not show it.

in both case some times i obtain lowing traffic on interface and highest cpu - to 100%
after clear cef linicard i obtain growing traffic and cpu 0%

Then it got stuck in rommon, i tried using a 7200 pcmcia card (I downloaded the 7600 IOS there) but if i do from rommon boot disk0:
it complaints with :open: file "c7200-atafslib-m" not found so, it doesn't boot.
Anything I can do to be able to boot this device ?
I am a little stuck trying to troubleshoot unusually high cpu on 7600 Platform.This has been going on for many hours and not been causing a problem, but this doesn't seem replicated in our network and I am concerned about the cause.I have attached some output below, and disabled netflow on interfaces to free some switching CPU. How to track the cause of this? We only have routing protocols and 5 static routes to Null 0, so I cant see how this can be a route loop, but willing to stand corrected. Routes are learned from BGP with OSPF/MPLS internally on the network. This switch also connects to access switches on RIP and EIGRP.
No change has been made to this device when this problem started to occur so I am suspecting something about the traffic has changed or there is a rougue user? [code]

View 4 Replies View Relatedi have a 7206 router to be used as a gateway for internet router 7206 inerfaces are connected directly to cisco switch 2960g note that 7600 work only at 1 gega , and cant be used for 10 or 10 . im looking forward to use router 7600 instaed of 7206 i copied the config of 7206 and pased in 7600 but some commands which are under interfaces command was not accepted here is the config which as not accepted in 7600 router
