I have got a cisco 1841 router. I need to do many nat. I have got a lots of virtual interface on this router. How many nat inside and outside does it supports ? Can I do more than one nat insdie and outside in different virual interfaces on the same single router.

1. Lease line = 2 mbps ( it is terminated over cisco 1841 router); For internet-access purpose
2. DSL = 1 mbps; For internet-access purpose
Our cisco 1841 router have only two fastethernet port, first for WAN Port where 2 mbps lease line terminated , second for LAN which is connected to Cisco switch and 1 mbps adsl line running seperatly which is not part of cisco 1841 router. i am planning to buy HWIC card for extra wan port on existing router where i will terminate 1 mbps adsl line or may be other provider lease line.I want to merge or aggregate both WAN link, My concern is to merge both line (2+1) and get single one (Just like as Etherchannel thing) , get 3mbps for LAN for internet access.
Can i Use 1 single IOS in all 3845 Router?
I have S384AESK9-124xx (T) version IOS in one of my 3845 router, can i copy the IOS and install it in my 4 x 3845 Router as i require (T) Version IOS to support HWIC-2FE module.
Like wise, i have Cisco 1800 IOS- S184AESK9-124xx (T) and Cisco 2800 IOS- S28NAESK9-124xx (T) installed in my routers, will there be any issues if i copy and use the same IOS in all my respective devices?
I have a 1921 with 3 interfaces. One for the LAN and the other 2 are wan each with a public address. The 2 wan interfaces are used for redundancy. I would like to know how I can static nat the same port and inside address on both wan interfaces.So if the request comes in on one or the other it works. I know if I do a static nat to one of the wan interfaces and then add the same port and inside address to the other wan interface it replaces the previous configure.

I have some unruly housemates that like to try to take advantage and i only have one cat5 cable and that is already connected to a computer. i have 4 other devices that i use my wifi on and i want to be able to use them without letting my roomies use my connection. and only allow them to use the web during the day.

So i am planning to implement a router in between those network and as it implement default routing so we can share all the resources. make both the network secure from virus as one of the network should be worm free. My ISP sent me a letter few days ago that they can provide me total separate wireless connection other than my regular connection. But they will charge me $10/month for this. just wondering do we have any way to create two separate wireless network so that my clients can access that free wireless connection when they are in my store. Our security department has asked that the time clocks be completely isolated from the rest of the network. The time clocks will be administered by ADP via a centralized firewall utilizing NAT. We have multiple subnets available at each site. Let me give an example to calrify what I would like to do. Example: Site A has 10.168.19.0 /24 user subnet and is configured for VLAN1 using 10.168.19.1 on the router as the default gateway. I would like to use subnet 10.168.20.0 /24 for the time clocks, configure it for VLAN2 and use 10.168.20.1 as the router gateway address for VLAN2. This should allow me to NAT one of our additional public IP addresses to the 10.168.20.1 gateway address thus completely isolating the time clocks from the remainder of the network. Problem is I have not done this before so I'm a little confused about how to configure it in the Cisco 3750 switches.

I have been given ongoing task which other IT Technicians been struggling for almost a year with a idea that maybe because I'm fresh person in the company I will find a original idea why could this thing not work.
Our router have a problem with blocking a single IP address, but not completely It's hard to explain but I will try my best. Company is hosting their website externally and accessing the host and FTP on the host on daily bases. It is important for the website to work on the internal network in company. It does work sometimes, but from time-to-time the website showing time-out error 118 on any point before Cisco router using both http and https, have tried putting just the IP address( doesn't matter is it on the general network or last ISA server on DMZ ). I am able to connect to the website using any of proxy gates but not directly to the website. I have also tested the connection past the router and I was able to connect to the website without any problems. I am also able to ping the host's address from the router and internal network.
I have eliminated the possibility of not correctly setup proxy or firewall on the network as problem also occur on the DMZ. I have also checked access-lists on the router and firewall rules for Any possibilities and I can't really see a way why would the router do this.
Have been battling a router connection to new ATT t1 connection. Router was configured and sent from sister company to this new location. We have had ATT tech test circuit and it tests good, had cat5 cable tested from ATT to router, it tests good. I continue to get serial up/ line protocol down status though and cant communicate to it from wan.

How to forward a single port to a different port to a specific computer for the WRV210 router?
I would like to forward port 10100 to port 25 to my mail server. There are times when our people are at a hotel and they block port 25 and I have done this in the past on a BEFSR11 and BEFSR41 router. There does not seem to be a Single Port Forwarding setup page and the Port Forwarding setup page only allows you to forward a range to a specific computer, it does not give you a different port you can assign an incoming port to.
I have the most current firmware revision, 2.0.0.11, and Hardware Version WRTR-221G_V01.
I tried searching through the threads but didn't see anything on this. Recently bought the E4200 so that when guests come by they can use a separate network instead of mine. I have guest network set up for one user but I am able to connect more than one computer to the guest network.

However on the 3rd machine, when I start browsing around (2.4Ghz or 5Ghz), things start going wonky and then the device basically loses connection, and the LED indicator starts flashing consistently indefinitely (with no connection).Removing and reconnecting the USB device will allow me to reconnect to my network and do stuff until it happens again. Speedtests on speedtest.net ALWAYS fail on upload test, I lose connection then.Streaming a movie across the network immediately causes this (exclamation mark on network icon) Regular browsing causes it also Checking event logs, I get the following error wlan extensibility module has stopped bcmihvsrv.dll The router is an E4200 I have tested all 3 AE2500s on this single machine, and they all do the same thing.Out of the 3 machines ONLY the one that doesn't work is Windows 7 32bit, the other 2 that do work are Windows 7 64bit Considering the event log is complaining about bcmihvsrv.dll, I know the 64bit version uses bcmihvsrv64.dll, could it be a bug in the 32bit drivers?I have attempted at trying different slots, uninstalling the drivers, removing and disabling any other network components in this single machine, lowering the power output in the advanced options, tried 2.4ghz and 5ghz, tried Wireless G only and then Wireless N only...

At the E4200 there is a limit of (free to make) 15 Single port forwarding and 15 port range forwarding to fill in.I get as suggestion that I must give up a total range of ports where all the ports I use where in.But for security reasons I will not do that.

First time we use 3845 router for sending the data and 47 Min are required to complete the data, during this link utilization was 100%. After that we send same data through 1841 router & 46 Min are required for the same. View 2 Replies View RelatedA client was having some email issue and was requested to change the 1841's LAN and WAN interface MTU to 1400 bytes. i've used 'mtu' command but was rejected and got an error like to one attached. so i used 'ip mtu' instead to make the change.
What's the difference between the 2 commands and if this would achieve the said change. I've checked using the show interface it's still showing MTU of 1500 bytes.

I have Cisco 1841 router with dual ADSL links, and also it's conntected to ASA and the other PIX. through one physical interface (vlan 1and vlan 2). The PIX firewall is connected to users, and the ASA is for VPN only.How can I seperate the traffic is going for emails and browsing and the vpn traffic. I have got to the point, that the router is configured for both ADSL connections, and I also configured the access-list and route-map in the router, the thing is when both ADSL configured together none of them works.
