Every time I reset my 1841 router the startup configs don't load. Its acting like a password recovery process has started. I can't figure out why its doing it,

Now I don't know how to delete those configurations, because when I try to overwrite it says already exist. And still port forwarding is not working. I did: ip nat inside source static tcp (ip and port numbers)Our device is 1841, also we have firewall within this router. DHCP is in our 3750.

I went through an article which tells me of the configuration part however It only has 1 default route . We've got a 1841 router with dual-WAN connection, one is Cable and it goes to Fa0/0, another one is ADSL2+ and it goes to WIC-ADSL card.I'm trying to configure a load-balancing and failover using per-packet or per-destination connection.I can configure "ip sla" for both connections pinging 2 different DNS IPs of 2 ISPs. But I can't configure command "track 1 rtr 1 reachability" and "track 2 rtr 2 reachability". There is no "rtr" allowed to type there. And all examples shows that command for load-balancing. What command to use for that or why I cannot use the above command?

Can we do the load balancing with WIC - 1T card as ISP - 1 and Ethernet card as ISP - 2 and other ethernet card as my LAN Network.
WIC - 1T - connected to ISP Ethernet card - Connected to Secondary ISP Second Ethernet card - connected to LAN Connection.

I want to do load balance between them, but I want to do some sort of weighted load blance, so as to assign more traffic to one ISP than the other. A kind of 70/30 (70% of traffic via ISP1, and 30% of traffic via ISP2).Is there a way to acomplish that? I already tried creating bogus /32 routes, but "cef" seems to be more clever and groups the bogus routes as one gw.

Ok starting about an hour ago I seem to be having a problem accessing youtube as well as Facebook & now Microsoft?I have done some searching around and tried a few of the suggestions I found including; trying another browser (happens using both Mozilla and IE), clearing internet cache, unplugging my modem for a minute then plugging it back in, etc, and so far none of these have worked. I did get youtube to work once since then long enough to upload a 10 sec video but once it was uploaded and I tried editing the video details I once again found myself taken to the page that says The connection was reset.

I have an issue that started showing up since I bought a new computer. The old computer ran XP, the new one runs Windows 7. Almost every time I start the computer I get an error message telling me Windows has detected an IP conflict. Sometimes when I click okay I get the message a second timeAbout half the time, I have no internet connection when I start up and have to restart my router, which fixes the problem (after restarting the modem, I do not need to do anything like renew with ipconfig; it just starts working). I do this so often I attached it to a power switch to make it easier than unplugging.My setup is this. My PC is connected to a router connected to my cable modem. View 1 Replies View RelatedPlatform: LMS 3.2.1 with RME 4.3.2 on Windows 2003.I'm having a problem with several devices that were backing up fine until this week - suddenly they aren't backing up their running configurations, but RME is fetching their startup configurations fine and VTP backups are fine. At first I thought it might be timeouts, so I used inline edit to incease the telnet timeout for a device to 180s. However, the job fails well within this time period (debug shows on i/o error?). My order of protocols is SSH, Telnet, TFTP. I took a stab in the dark that this suggested a database problem so I picked one at random and deleted it from DCR, and readded it and it worked. However, for the other 48 devices affected it did not.
I'm wondering if I need to do anything to the RME database to get things back to where they were? Do I need to reinitialize the RME database, and if I do that what do I lose? [code]

We upgraded to Cisco LMS 4.2.1 recently and we have noticed that every time we reboot our Windows VM Server the archived configurations from the network devices are no longer displayed. They do not appear in the archive, version tree or directory. We are meeting the minimum system requirements for running LMS 4.2.1 and we do not seem to have found any possible bugs related to this.
