View 6 Replies View RelatedWe are looking to upgrade our WiSMs to version 7.0.230.0, but the Cisco compatibility matrix suggests we need to upgrade WCS to the same version (it is currently on 7.0.172.0). My question is can we upgrade the WiSMs and do the WCS at a later date with no issues or do we need to do them at the same time to keep visibility of everything?
The reason I ask is that some of my clients use lobby ambassador for some of their users and they will need wireless access on the day we are due to upgrade WCS (the WiSMs are due to be upgraded and rebooted earlier that morning.
My WCS quit, apparently after the server was rebooted following Microsoft updates while I was on vacation earlier this week.

After stopping WCS & rebooting:Health Monitor is running with an error.WCS is stopped.Database server is stopped Apache server is running After attempting to restart/start WCS:Health Monitor is already running.This was a clean install/upgrade a few weeks ago. 7.0.172 wouldn't install on top of the previous version so I had to uninstall, install and restore. WCS had been solid ever since.
LMS does not start, although the services seem to be started. Find attached the pdshow output and let me know what more you need me to send.

We have LMS 3.2 Bundle that installed on Windows server 2003 OS. I was found that CTMJrmServer service doesn’t coming up. After searching on forum and trying some solved issues my problem still exist. Hostname of server was changed before with hostnamechange.pl script and it was integrated with ACS before but now it’s on Local login mode. Here is my Bundle Version:

View 1 Replies View RelatedI disabled my Intel PWLA8391GT because i wanted to test the onboard network, was not happy with the onboard network so i tried to switch back by enabling the drivers... well it then had a little yellow triangle with a ! in the middle it then told me that it could not start... I then restarted my computer and when i started it was in the unknow as pci device i then installed the drivers manually and it ran into the problem again..

I just spilled water on my companies Dell Latitude D630 and it didn't start. On the D630 I signed onto a domain. When I put the hard drive from the D630 to a Dell D620 the domain option is grayed out. The only option is to log onto locally. Is there anywhere to get the domain option back?
View 8 Replies View RelatedI am Using Windows 7 32-Bit, and my Network usually works fine, and my internet has been working fine up until recently. However about a month (maybe more) I noticed a problem that kept cutting me off occasionally and said Diagnostic Policy was not started, I troubleshooted it and it was fine. Much more recently this has been happening more frequently and troubleshooting it doesn't solve the problem. I can get online for 10-15 Mins then I am cut off again. Restarting the computer often fixes it but not always. I went to Services and found the Diagnostic Policy Service is not running, I press start and receive this error message.
The Diagnostic Policy Service service on local computer started and then stopped. Some services stop automatically if they are not in use by services or programs.I am quite sure my loss of Internet is due to this as this is a network related service and what the troubleshooter always finds to be the problem. Other Computer/Devices in the house connect to the internet fine with no loss of connection so it has nothing to do with that. I have tried various fixes like uninstalling network adapter drivers, and checking permissions in Registry but it has not worked.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI had my network running seamlessly for years, I set it up using a guide from a magazine and had both wired and wireless working A1 and originally it was all win xp pro, 2 desktops and a laptop but got a macbook pro and got that using printer, sharing fies etc. All no problem and it was all easy peasy BUT I have mucked up big time and I think it was because I downloaded some system cleaning software, advanced care, toolwiz and pc pitstop but I was not paying attention and I am sure I clicked a few buttons I should not have done. Result disaster, no longer can share files or print etc.ll I want to do is reset everything and start afresh but how do I do that? I use a netgear router with norton security on main desktop. I have a wii, an xbox, apple tv running as well along with 2 desktops, a laptop and a macbook pro. Tried a few things but nothing worked, when I click on network places I get a list of shared folders but end location shows internet! I have to use netgear switch boxes as well but should not have caused the problem.

Since they installed the machine won't connect to the network shares. It can access the internet easily enough. The Workstation Service won't start. It comes up with an error 1068: The dependancy service or group failed to start. I used System restore to go back before the updates and everything worked again. Installed the updates and the problem re-appears. I have 2 wireless network adaptors so I disabled one.
