How to approach an overnight upgrade from autonomous AP1231/1242 deployment into a 2504 controller-based AP1602 deployment.I do not have access to the existing 1231/1242 deployment ==> I need to ask network manager for all necessary config info to be ported onto the 2504.Example: the 1231 show run output does not list the various SSID that are in use.Therefore the question is: which commands' output do I need to ask to have all possible config data from 1231/1242 to use when configuring the 2504/1602 deployment.

Before my TL-WR702N was working fine as a reperter. After sometime it doesn't work any more, so I try to reset it again but now I couldn't see my SSID after I press the survey buttom in the quick setup - wireless repater page.
I'm having big problems with my Linksys WAG320N. I'm pretty clueless when it comes to networking.Without changing any of the settings, the other day my Macbook Pro couldn't connect and it kept saying 'Connection timeout'. From that point my iPhone also refused to connect, although accessing the internet on my MBP via Ethernet was fine.
I did a hard reset following instructions from this forum then re-configured with the installation CD. The wireless LED on the router was lit but my MBP couldn't see the network. Eventually I managed to connect after rebooting my laptop, and enjoyed all of 10 minutes of problem-free of wireless internet connectivity before the network just dropped out and now doesn't show up in my list of networks again, although the wireless LED is still on. Connecting via Ethernet still works, just not via wireless.I've rebooted my laptop and the router and tried switching channels on the router, all to no avail.
I have configured a vlan interface on a 3750 switch. there is aprox 4Mb active traffic flowing through the interface, but when I do a "show interface vlan (vlanid)" the output show zero bits in and zero bits out. Its a typical L3 config with one IP on the vllan interface acting as the gateway for the VLAN devices. Is this a normal behaviur ? and if so is there any way to get the traffic in/out stats. The end PC/devices are connected to this switch via an L2 TRUNK and I dont have access to the L2 switch on which the actual devices connect. so cant get the real time stats of those interfaces.
I have copied status codes from show ip bg command output and its explanation (from Cisco documentation site)., d and h (suppressed, dampened and history). I read somewhere that these are to control flapping routes. But not able to understand it completly.Raised this question in a couple of forums but didnt get a proper reply.The table entry is suppressed.??The table entry is dampened. ??The table entry history. In a basic VPN l2l scenario using ezVPN, server behind NAT device, client using 3G. What would be the reason to have in the output of the show crypto ipsec sa, a current peer different from remote crypto endpoint on the server ?
There're more than twenty 6509VE running in the network. All of them has got 1GE or 10GE SFP / GBIC.However, when I tried "show int trans" in some of them, there's nothing shown:

I have a 5508 WLC running on 7.0.116, I need to be able to pull all configured users off the WLC and import into excel, I have 900 odd users configured. When I run a show net user summary it only displays a third of users. I'm hitting space to tab through each page, then eventually I just get dumped back to the command prompt.
I've multiple FWSMs running. The funny thing: When I do a "show resource usage" I have one blade showing a "Conns [rate]" and "Syslogs [rate]" values and one blade isn't.
All modules are running the same software version 3.2(10).And the even more funny thing is: on one blade I have different output for all the contexts on it.What's the reason for that behaviour? A bug?
i have a linsys wrt54g router. my main computer is connected (wired) and works fine. until today my wireless devices were able to connect and access the internet using the router. now the ssid does not show as a possible network connection. i have unplugged everything, rest the router, checked setting, shutdown and reset every computer and all my wireless devices still cant locate the network connection???
I recently configured a network with a 4500 Sup7E and a 3560G with jumbo frame support. I am trying to confirm operation. On the 4500 this is straight forward using "sho int g0/nn count detail". [code] The 3560 doesn't support that command. The closest I can come to finding the number of jumbo packets is "show controllers ethernet" (example below). On the transmit side I assume that jumbo frames would be tallied in the "Too large frames" counter. The receive side is a little more ambiguous. There are 2 counters that seem to be duplicates, "Valid frames, too large" and "Valid oversize frames". In operation they are not. I am seeing the "Valid frames, too large" counter incrementing while the "Valid oversize frames" remains at zero. [code]

any VLAN interface once administratively down or simply down shows on "show interface status" output as VLAN.While it supposed to show "Routed". However once the port is up it is shows "routed" like it should.

I have a ASUS PCE-N13 card I am trying to connect to my N network. It is a Netgear WNDR3700 v2 running DD-WRT. It does not even show up in my list of networks, yet I see a neighbor's N network. I updated the drivers and I still do not see it. .

I am trying to connect to a different network, but for some reason when I click "Connect To", where it tells me to click to join another wireless network, it just shows me this: and does not show me the Wireless Networks that are available (I am not sure what it is called)
So, I happened to do CD recovery a day ago; *Due to forgetting Administrator password* and now my laptop seems to not be able to pick up any wireless connections when there usually is a ton. Also every time my laptop restarts it always loads saying "Preparing for first time use" Like I used the CD recovery again. which I didn't. I'm using a wlan controller with 1242ag converted to lwapp, i'm trying to enable 5.8 but when i change the from local to bridge the lwapp disappear from controller. May be that the firmware does not support mesh !I'm following the 4402 wlan manual at page 641.
I created some acess-lists, and you can assign a logging level to this access-list. Now this ACL has a lot of hits, so i want to see whats happening. Only the log I then see is completely empty. I cannot figure out how to get some info in that log.
I think there is some global logging setting i probably need to enable in order to get anything logged at all, but i cannot figure out which.
Dell Wireless 1390 WLAN MiniCard on my Inspiron 1521 with WINDOWS 7 does not show in the device manager. There is a popup window that says Driver blocked due to incompatibility.Ive tried to install new drivers but it doesn't work.
I have a linksys E3200. Today I got disconnected and when it reconnected it stated that the network was changed to just network and not my usual network name. I was having connection issues with the network disconnecting me and reconnecting me. I uninstalled the cisco connect software. I contacted support who told me to restart the router and modem, which I did. After reset I tried to reinstall the software. Cisco Connect likes to insist to do the installation wirelessly but my laptop can't find the router during installation to complete it. My router is essentially a glorified wire connecting my computer to my modem now.
We have a old Router and a new one(the Lynksys). The old one had problems with the Wifi so we bought this one. So when we connect This Router to the Modem it doesn't show connection to the internet. (The Setup fails because of this).But with the old one it does connect to the internet. So either my modem doesn't detect the new router or vice versa. So I am not sure why its not working since on the old one it works fine.
i am having an annoying issue with my wrt400n and my foscam FI8918W. in the dhcp reservation tab, the wrt400n doesn't show the foscam anywhere in the tab. it shows all laptops, cell phones, nases, etc. if i use the cisco connect software it does show it in the network map. i can probably add it manually via the gui. is this something normal or security cams not considered devices?
I'm trying to register my new linksys e2000-ew wireless router but it doesn't show up in the selection pull down menu. When I try the e2500 it says my serial# isn't correct.

The router is not showing my external hard drive in the usb settings. The Hard drive is a seagate 7200rpm 1.5tb. The hard drive works just fine when plugged into my computer. I have tried NTFS and EXFAT. My 2gb usb drive in FAT32 shows up just fine. The external has its own power supply. Is there anything I am missing that would cause it to not work?
The Cisco 887 doesn't support the show dsl command, what is the command that I need to use to display the speed my ADSL is operating at? On the Cisco 877 the command I use is show dsl int atm 0 but this doesn't work on the 887
