To enable our receptionits to print a guest user ticket on a small A8 ticket printer I'm looking for a way to adjust the layout and formatting of the guest account credentials page.
I have searched through the javascript and css files but with no success.
We are using WCS 7.0.172.0
I have ASA 5510 with CSC-SSM-10 .ASA 5510 IOS version- 8.4.2 and CSC-SSM-10 IOS version 6.6.1162.Web filtering is working fine with respective to my configuration.From yesterday morning, i was facing issue with the sites like gmail, webmail.After giving credentials like username and password in the web page, the page is not resonding.In troubleshooting process, i removed all the acls, class maps which will direct all the traffic towards the CSC. In this scenario all my mail service sites are opening.If we apply the these ACLs and Class-Maps, only my mail service sites only affecting.
View 1 Replies View RelatedWe have a building with 6 Cisco Airnet 1140 connected to a Cisco 2100 WLC, all tied into a nice Central Certificate server and a Win2008 NPS/Radius server on a Win2008 AD. Our trusted PC wireless access is fine, with domain laptops with certificates authenticating with DHCP all round the building. We use GP to apply settings to an AD integrated Proxy server for internet access.
The problem I now have is with guest access...
We are an education establishment, so students could turn up with anything from a laptop to an iPad to an Android phone, which immediately rules out using proxy PAC files to configure the proxy.
What I really want is a method of using the radius to verify the guest user against their existing AD user account, which I believe is possible. The one snag we have is in order to avoid the user having to configure the Internet proxy we would have to switch it to a transparent mode, which immediately restricts our ability to report on AD username, we would only have an IP address to report on, which is next to useless!
We've looked at a Gateway product (Astaro), which integrates the Filtering onto the Gateway, but the downside is that you have to use their APs, so we would be replicating existing work, whilst also managing two filters.
I working with guest accounts on a WLC 5508.if there is possibilty to print out the account information directly from the controller. If possible how to print out this accounts ?
View 3 Replies View RelatedWe have a wireless router on our network 192.168.23.xxx and if the main router SSID is enabled we can connect to the internet, but am also connected to the network. I want to allow guests to use the wireless but not be able to see our network, I disabled the SSID broadcast and setup the Guest account and enabled the guest SSID broadcast. The note in the configuration says that guest will have to open a web browser and enter the password to use the internet. When connecting to the guest account nothing happens. I never see a login screen, nothing. I typed 192.168.1.1 into the address bar and it did oopen a login page for the guest account but does not connect to the internet. The network viewer says it is connected but the webpage says limited or no connectivity.

The regular (non-guest) account works as advertised. The E1200 is connected to my Verizon modem/router. I have tried disable/enable of DHCP on the E1200; I have tried setting the E1200 Static DNS 1 to my Verizon router IP address without success.
We currently have ACS 5.4 and Cisco WLC 5508's deployed. We have wireless lobby admin accounts that can login and successfully create and modify guest wireless accounts. What we are trying to do, however, is give the lobby admins the ability to create wireless accounts with lifetimes longer than 30 days. Currently our setup will only allow the creation of permanent accounts (by entering all 0's in the lifetime fields) or accounts that last up to thirty days.

If I create a guest account with the lobby administrator on one, will that user account be able to log in to the network if the client is attached to the ohter WLC? So far, I have found that I need to create the same user on both WLC's, in order to have the user login.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have setup my EA3500 for guest access however when my clients connect and start their browser they are never prompted for a password to continue their session. The browser times out. I can connect to the secured network by using the wireless password and the clients work.
I have the lastest firmware. I have a host of different clients, Kindle Fire HD, RIM Playbook, Windows 7 laptop. I have turned off guest account restarted, reconfigured and nothing changes. The browser always times out and the client is never prompted for a password. I bought this router because a friend that I visit has one so that visitors can use the internet...I know hers works, I have brought my Kindle along with me and connected to her Linksys router and it prompts for a password. I liked the feature so much I bought this one.
FYI. This router was replaced under warranty, I spent two days (I'm not kidding) on the phone with Linksys support trying to get the first one to work. I rebooted, reset to default, changed settings, tweaked, used different clients all with no effect so they replaced it.
I would like for Cisco to offer a firmware update for my 4200 so that the password for the guest account can be disabled.

Living next door he has a guest Wifi connection for his customers that requires a password. I only had to use the password once and since then it has automatically connected. I have a 5508 WLC running 6.0.202.0. It functions as the Anchor Controller for the guest network. It sits in our Internet DMZ and is isolated from the rest of the network. It does not connect to AD, ACS, etc. The guest wireless WLAN is configured for Web Policy - Authentication. I have a customized login page. Credential management is done by WCS.
Users are connecting to the guest wireless network and entering their creds with no issues using mobile devices (iPad, etc). Then the mobile device goes to sleep / turns off and when they go to use it again, they have to type their creds in again. They dont like retyping their creds throughout the day.
good way mitigate the multiple logins? Something like a 'save password' option on the customized page?
I want to setup a webpage for my guest network (no authentication) users. When the client connects to the open guest network and upon opening a browser they would be directed to a survey that I would like them to take, if they don't want to take it they can begin browsing to other sites without issue. Problem:
guest SSID is turned on
password is established
All devices will connect to the guest SSID and the E4200 is assigning an ip address to the device in the 192.168.33.xxx range which is what it's supposed to do.When I open a web browser, I am not automatically redirected to the Cisco Login Page. If I enter 192.168.33.1 as the URL, the login screen is presented. I enter the password I have created in the guest admin page on the wireless guest tab. I then see a blank page and a URL of 192.168.33.1/guestnetwork.asp. THIS IS WHERE I GET STUCK. THE ONLY WAY TO EVER SEE THE LOGIN PAGE AGAIN IS TO REBOOT THE E4200, otherwise you just get unable to connect messages when opening web browsers and the wireless status icon in the system tray shows a yellow exclamation mark.
I successfully connect to the guest SSID but I do not get access to the internet. When I type ipconfig, I see that the DNS is set to 192.168.33.1 which does not exist on my network. I assume there's some internal NAT magic that is supposed to happen in the E4200 to bridge me over to my 192.168.15.xxx network but it doesn't seem to be happening.At the beginning of the call I specifically asked them if the E4200 must be the DHCP server in order for the guest SSID feature to work and they said no. 1.5 hours later they had no answers so they told me that it wasn't working because the E4200 was not the DHCP server. The documentation says nothing about a DHCP requirement for guest AP service. Linksys support further could not answer what you would do if you needed more than one AP with guest service enabled.It seems like this is a firmware issue but it may be the guest SSID service requires the E4200 to also act as the DHCP server. Whether this is a bug or if the router/AP is working as designed?

I want to increase the power levels by using the controller and not configuring the APs individually. I have set the TPC value to -50 but I still do not reach the outer walls of the floors in some areas. I need to know what to set the Max Power Level Assignment or Min Power Level Assignment to to get the APs to power up some more. If the MAX value is 30 and the default is 30 then how to adjust that value?
