My connection status icon has a big red x on it. I can't get on the internet. I tried the cmd stuff( ipconfig,netsh renewand release, and all the other jazz to do) my ip address starts with a 169 # I know that's not good. I go into my networks and I have no network. I go into my LAN ip4 and ip6and there are no addresses no were.I checked the LAN area status and it says not connected.

DHCP Client and Network Location Awareness aren't working. When I tried to start DHCP Client, I got Windows could not start the DHCP Client service on the Local Computer.Error 5: Access is denied. I checked the dependencies and all of them were on. For Network Location Awareness, I got the error Windows could not start the Network Location Awareness on Local Computer. For more information, review the System Event Log. If this is a non-Microsoft service, contact the service cendor, and refer to service-specific error code -1073741288. One of its dependencies is fine, but I don't know how to check the other two, Ancillary Function Driver for Winsock and NetIO Legacy TDI Support Driver. Also, how do I check the event log?Everything on the list that was said to check is running expect these two the lisie was having problems with. I have not had anything with memory recently and have not been able to successfully go through a system restore. I have tried many of the suggestions and just am not sure what to do anymore. The computer works perfectly fine, minus it cannot get on the internet.

Whenever I go to Network and Sharing Center and try connecting to the internet, the computer simply says "Windows did not detect any networking hardware", even though the light is clearly on and should be working. The cable is also new so it should be fine. I've also been looking around on the internet a bit, and in trying to fix the problem it looks like some of my Services are turned off, which seems to be causing the problem. Recently had some malware that I removed not sure if there is a correlation. I am trying to connect my wireless connection on my pc to a router to run xbox and BD player. I go to properties on wireless connection click sharing tab check allow other network users to connect to the internet through this computer connection, also checked allow other network users to control or disable the shared internet connection. I click ok and get a error window that says in the title bar Network Connections the body of the window says, "An error occurred while Internet Connection Sharing was being enabled. The dependency service does not exist or has been marked for deletion. I looked through services and device manager in non pnp drivers everything looks right to me... I am not super familiar with networking issues so I may have missed or overlooked something easily.

when I made the purchase for Linksys X3000. However, when I reached home and tried to use it. It auto reboot every 1 or 2 mins of usage. It's not just wireless affected but the whole thing rebooted. Reflash the fimware doesn't makes much different. Did a Standard 30-30-30 reset didn't solve any problem. Logged the case and informed linksys customer service that I'll go down to the retail shop for replacement. Case ID Given.On the 8th Nov, I went back to the retailer shop and proceed to get a replacement. The shop was fine, they allowed for one on one replacement. However problem persist. This time it got worse, when I tried to flash the firmware, it got stuck at 98% for half an hour. So I got it rebooted. Next, It can't boot up and the power status shown Red color.
I contacted the same customer service and inform them about the same issue with the replacement. Next I was given the address of the RMA Office at Funan L5-K3. Problem is, the address and location is wrong, the office became a Kawaii Koochi cosplay dessert shop.On the 10th Nov 2011, Checked the address in the net and some stated it's in Bishan and some stated it's in Funan. I called the Number given by the customer service and the line is dead. Called again, this time its Indian CSO and was told by the customer service that they're not operating after 7pm. But the problem is, it's only 5.30pm. Apparently they thought I was in US or Canada. So they transferred me to another customer service but nobody picked up the call. The fella just told me that hey, they not picking up so there's nothing he could do and that's it.I called a number started with 800-1204280, they told me that the office location is in Funan lvl 6 just beside the huge challenger store. I went down again at about 6.30pm and managed to locate the Service Center, I think it's third party as it cater for other product such as lenovo and other brand.This time the RMA center customer service told me that they doesn't carry any stock for replacement. I wasted so many trip just for one router. It's a very dissappointing service overall and this product is highly unreliable.
we have approx. 70 Cisco 1941W routers deployed in our company. I used to be able to console into the internet wireless AP by issuing the below command:

The network problem I am having is with an XP computer that was able to access network shares on a Win 7 Pro (64-bit) computer yesterday, but cannot today. I tried repair steps that have worked for me in the past, but didn't today.
1. Rebooted.
2. Turned off Windows Firewall.
3. Re-ran the Network Setup Wizard and select turn on file and print sharing.
4. Changed IP configuration to choose NETBIOS over TCP/IP.
5. Uninstalled AV software.

This is a config for ASA 8.0. I would have expected it to work on 8.4 as well but I do run into problems. The mapping as shown in LDAP Debug and ASA Log will actually happen but it is overwritten by the "GPnoAccess" Group Policy configured locally in the Tunnel Group. From earlier works with RADIUS I would have expected the user specific Attribute to be "stronger"?

We have a situation where services are stopped on the real servers. The probes fail and we confirm the services are not running on the server. We cannot access the ports from the ACE directly. We can still however acces the VIP on the TCP port (L4 VIP class-map). So we can still telnet to the VIP on the port from thr Client side of the network.This is on ACE 20 Modules deployed in Routed mode. The version of software is A2(3.3).
Tried removing multi-match and loadbalance policies as well as class-map and re-applying then re-appyling the service policy to interface. Same behavior,This is a problem at another level as some services are being monitored by GSS via TCP keep-Alive and this obviuosly causes a problem as the service then never goes off-line.

I Have an issue about AP Group.On my scenario, I have one Flex WLC 7510 using software version 7.0.220, And all APs are 1131.I have some sites with H-Reap, where H-Reap is configured properly.The Access Points are set with AP Group. AP Group is configured properly too. Each AP Group was configured for one site and was configured 2 SSIDs in each AP Group. All sites has 2 differents SSIDs.During some basic tests, in one site with 9 APs, I saw:
1. When the Access Points are registred on WLC, all APs are working fine. All APs has its 2 SSID added on slot 0 (radio 0)
2. If I disable the link between WLC and Access Points, 7 Access Points delete SSIDs on your AP Groups and replace it with 16 SSIDs (SSIDs on Default Group configured on WLC)

According to Cisco documentation, this command was introducted in 8.4. My ASA's are running version 8.6.1.10, 9.1.1.8, 9.1.1.10 and 9.1.2. The command is available only with 9.1.2.

I scheduled a periodic job (for example the compliance check job) on week basis and I specified one user's device group for this job (for example the branch_routers group). All is working, but when new devices are added to this group (the branch_routers group), the scheduled job is not provided for these new devices. Is it the default behaviour? Can I change it?
