Aug 27, 2011my wireless on my computer says that it is not enabled... how do i enable it? i do not have a wireless button, and my computer defonately is wireless?

Dec 8, 2012i have an hp laptop that has a wireless button on the top right hand of the typing area. It has turned red before and all i had to do was push the button and it would turn gree. It has gone red again and when i push the button it stays red.

Without it I just get ' No connections are available'. I also can't turn off the touchpad with the button to the right of F12 like I used to. I read somewhere it might be to do with the Dell Drivers CD?

Nov 27, 2012Just installed windows 8 on this laptop, everything is working fine, it has all the drivers etc. It does not seem to be picking up wireless for some reason. When I press the quick launch button for wireless absolutely nothing is happening, however it can pick up internet with the ethernet cable from the modem. Had a read of this and tried to install the FSC Launch Manager from the Fujitsu website still to no avail. Cant be the operating system either as it the same problem arose when i install a version of xp yesterday.

Even though the light indicates that my wireless is on, I have to go to device manager>networking>802.11n>advanced then activate my radio for my laptop to pick up the wireless signals. I read in the user manual that it is best to turn off the router when not in use for better security measures, but there in no power button on the router. May 13, 2013I was given this router (it's my 3rd one) and cannot get the reset button to reset the password. I have run throught a 30/30/30 reset as well as just holding the button in for the standard 30 seconds.
I know the router works, as in i can ping it. It asks for a password when i go to 192.168.1.1, but *blank* and "admin" do not work. When i click the cancel button it displays a pink(salmon) screen that says "401 Unauthorized Authrization required". (all of this is when i am connected to it with an ethernet cable to #1)
When it's sitting there it has an led lit over power and one ove wlan which flickers from time to time.

The wireless adapter settings page has an entry for 'PIN' and 'PBC' for WPS.Selecting either always results in the client station requesting the routers pin, indicating that the pushbutton selection is not working properly.The router was doing this with the version of hardware that it was shipped with. i have downgraded to 120522 and the router is behaving exactly the same.Has anyone successfully configured the router for pushbutton connection? do not suggest that we use the pin setting as we have a requirement for dumb devices to connect to wireless and they only support pushbutton connection.
Cisco Wireless :: AIR-LAP1242G / Apply Button Not Working When Changing AP Settings?
Apr 24, 2012I am working on installing a new 2500 Controller with 2 AIR-LAP1242G's attached to it. I have both registered and on the controller but I am having trouble moving one of them to a new IPS AP group that I created. Furthermore, I noticed the default gateway is missing from the static ip settings and I am unable to add that as well. When I add the default gateway and hit apply, the controller does nothing. Same thing for when I try to change my WIPS device to monitor mode.
A couple other things that I noticed is that when I go to AP groups and try to remove the AP's from the default group, there is no remove button when you go inside the default group like I see when i go into my IPS group.The AP's are on software ver 12.4(23c)JA3 Boot ver 12.4.13.0 and the controller is at 7.0.22.0I have already power cycled the controller and both AP's.
