I'm just trying to port forward with this router, and after I'm done entering all my settings, I click save settings, it tells me settings are successful.
But the it goes back to the port forwarding page and all the stuff is at default again as if I didn't make any changes. What the hell is this?
I'm sure it's just a little something I don't know about that's making it not save any changes to port forwarding.
i am trying to port forward my router so that i can run a minecraft server. When I put in th port number and save the changes, it brings me to a screen that says my changes have been saved yet when i go back to the page they haven't. I have tried deleting the cookies on my browser, using another browser, using another computer, and hard resetting the router for ten seconds. None of this works.

My router is actually communicating with my computer (physically plugged in), since I can save all other settings EXCEPT the port-fowarding ones.I am trying to save settings for a gaming application in the Single Port Forwarding section of my router settings. After clicking both ''save settings'' and ''continue'', it simply returns to the Single Port Forwarding section, except everything is blank, as though nothing was saved.

Firmware Version: v3.0.03
Here are the steps I have already undertaken:
1- Erase browser cache and cookies
2- Updated to latest firmware (v3.0.03), 10-second reset button, 20-second power cycle.
I just installed my new E4200, and am setting the Access Restrictions. Is there anyway to block the popup window that displays every time I enter the form or save the settings?
I'm using IE9 and have tried adjusting the Popup Blocker, but to no avail.
I use a BEFVP41 VPN router. I have changed several settings. How can I backup these settings and store these settings in a save place.

I want to use them wirelessly so I clicked wireless setup, and entered my network info. At that point I get an error message saying it failed to save settings. I know the ID and password are correct.I have tried exiting the setup wizard and accessing the camera thru the web interface. All wireless settings are correct. Save and reset button is not working on Sys log Purge Settings page (Admin > Network > Purge Settings > Sys log Purge Settings) when Email: field is not empty. An Reset button is not working at all.This is the Cisco Prime LMS 4.2.1.

I have a problem when trying to configure my wrt320n , I put in the exact same config. as I had with my wrt54g, and I do mean the exact same, even the name and all, but when I try to save the config on Advance Routing I get the message "Invalid static route", I think it's a bug

I am trying to setup port forwarding for xbox (53, 80, 88, 1863, 3074), I click on enable to the far right and then click save at the bottom. It says settings are succeful, will return in 5 seconds. View 3 Replies View RelatedI have a BEFSR41 ver 4.3 and I upgraded my firmware to 2.00.4.8 from within the router. Had a problem with the flashing power light. Resolved the issue after reading another post on this forum using the TFTP utility. Now, however, if I go into either Port Forwarding or Port Triggering and change anything, there is no Save Changes button to click on in either page. They are missing. If I click away, or close the browser and come back, all changes I made are lost. I have tried reloading the firmware at least four times. I've powered off, pressed the reset button and any combination of these that you can reasonably think of. The buttons are gone! I have tried accessing the router from both IE and Firefox, accessing the router from all the machines on my network, to no avail. Everything was working fine before the upgrade, of course. The router does not have the option to save the old firmware before any upgrades are made. The original firmware has been overwritten so I can't go back to it.

I want the usual proccess whenever i go to 192.168.1.1 it will ask me to input my admin and password to change my router settings..

This past Christmas, my family got about 4 new wifi devices which they added to the network bringing the total number of devices on my home network to 10. I wanted to know if there are any advanced settings in Cisco Connect that I can tweak to make my wifi speeds faster because right now I'm getting about 55 Mbps on most of my devices. I was also wondering what the typical range of the e2500 router was and if the e4200 offers a large improvement.
