View 2 RepliesThis issue just started happening. I have a Sierra Wireless Aircard 595 plugged into a WRT54G3G-ST. I will be browsing the internet and all of a sudden, I get the message that Internet Explorer cannot find the web page. At that point, I cannot get to any website. I have several PC's, both wired and wireless connected and they all have the same problem,. I have tried Google Chrome, Firefox and IE9 and all browsers have the same issue. My email continues to download through Outlook, I can use WS FTP and I can also log in to a remote computer using Logmein. It is just browser access that is affected.
There is no set time table to the error. Sometimes it happens within minutes, sometimes it is 30 minutes and sometimes it is over an hour. The only way out of it is to either unplug the router, let it set 30 seconds, then plug it back in or I found that I can go into the setup and do a disconnect from mobile broadband and reconnect and it starts working again. Of course, Sprint says they do not deal with issues unless the card is plugged directly into my PC, which is not the environment that I am running in (even though I bought the router and card from them.) Does Linksys still make a mobile broadband router?
I received a new hp laptop from a friend with a cisco linksys e1000 router. The first time I hooked it up it got online and worked great. I downloaded some updates for windows and restated the laptop for them to take effect and now it won't get back online for anything. I even restored the computer to the previous settings. All I get is the error message "Internet Explorer can not display the web page. I am running windows 7 ultimate.

Basically, the Javascript chokes on any computer name that you enter that has an apostrophe in it. As a result, I don't have access to add or edit any settings on that page. Seems like a major rookie mistake, especially for a major network device manufacture.
I'm having wrt610n and there is an issue, i can login to the config page via http, but using the same computer i'm not able to login there via https but the same time i can login via ipad and the other computer, using the https.i even tried to reset the router settings, but the result was the same, so what PC option can cause it?
View 6 Replies View RelatedI am trying to log into my WRT610N version 2.0 Router admin page 192.168.1.1 using the secure HTTPS://192.168.1.1 protocol I have the router local management setting to allow both http and https access login:192.168.1.1/Management.asp I am using Microsoft IE version 10 and Firefox version 19.02 and latest Chrome browsers and none of them will work using the HTTPS protocol.This used to work in the past using older versions of the browsers though I would see a certicificate error warning.I have 2.00.01 build 15 firmware installed and I already tried reseting the router. Perhaps the router needs new firmware update to handle this with the latest browsers?

My router is on 192.168.254.200 and modem(WAG-200G) is on 192.168.254.100, ethernet cable is on internet port on the e4200 and on port1 on the modem. Modem is set is bridge and I set up a ppoe and dhcp on router. Everything is ok, except that i can not access modem setup page to see adsl conection speed and settings.

I want to disable DHCP in the Linksys, but when I try to access the set up page at address 192.168.1.1 the Verizon router set up page shows up. I've tried to connect the router directly to the computer, but it needs the internet connection from the Verizon router. How do I get to the set up of the Linksys at the same time the Verizon is using the same address?

I have the WRT610 all setup and working, but I cannot connect to the internet. The WRT610N is a the latest firmware version.
The WRT610 is connected (Internet) by cable to the Zyxel (one of the four ports)with a cat.5E patch cable.
the wireless is so much better on the WRT610N than the ZyXel.
The Internet Access Policy feature of my WRT610N router doesn't appear to work, at all, zip, nothing, nada. I have setup the feature todeny access to one of my laptops for everyday 24 hours a day, but it can still use the net...

I set this as DHCP, but in the status page I am only getting the Internet Address of 127.0.0.1.
The ADSL modem IP is 192.168.1.1, but I cannot have access to the modem configuration,
My EA4500 with the latest firmware will only display nine connected devices at a time. It also seems to randomly shuffle which devices to show as connected, even though several more than nine are connected and online. Does anyone else's device list limit itself to displaying only nine devices? The Linksys phone apps also display a maximum of nine devices. I like the routers new user interface and understand that it has received a lot of praise, however this is the second bug I've experienced in as many months (the first being a failure of the device list to update once devices are upgraded to Windows 8, requiring a reset to default settings in order to fix).

View 3 Replies View RelatedMy main pc is running Windows 7. It is also running MS Windows firewall and anti-virus. It connects fine to the internet via an ethernet connection to the WRT610N.
I am trying to access the internet wirelessly from another pc running Windows XP. The wireless pc indicates it is connected to the network with excellent signal strength. It will not connect to the internet. I can successfully ping the router but it is unsuccessful when pinging an internet address.
An additional wireless pc (WinXP) and my phone (Android) also show connected to the network but will not connect to the internet.
These wireless computers used to be able to access the internet before we moved house. They only thing I think that has changed is the addition of Windows firewall and anti-virus. It may however be something else.
My E4200 settings show both the 5.8GHZ and 2.4GHZ channels to be active, with SSID's displayed. However, when I look for available networks via my laptop(s)/tablets, etc, only the 2.8GHZ channel is visible. I've tried changing various settings and even updated the firmware but nothing has changed.
In addition my "guest" portal displays as not being password protected, even though it is setup for password protection in the E4200 menu.I've rebooted the router several times, but nothing has changed. The 5.8GHZ channel is not visible.The router is also performing frequent random disconnects, but that appears to be a separate issue, based on other posts.
I just moved in to a new place and have connected my Wireless router (WRT610N) to my switch located in the smart panel in the basement (SE2500). Plugging my ultrabook in to the wall confirms that the signal from the switch in the basement is being sent up, however if I plug my wireless router in to the jack and connect to the wireless router I have no internet access.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI was very happy working with my WRT610N connected to the ethernetport of my previous internet modem. Recently I had to switch to a new modem CISCO EPC3925. Unfortunately this combination does not work anymore. I don't get an internet connection on my WRT610N anymore. I therefore have to connect all computers (LAN and WIFI) to this EPC3925. Especially for the WIFI I'm not fully happy. My IPAD2 sometimes does not want to connect, a problem which never occurred when connecting to WRT610N.
I probably need to change a setting, but where? In the EPC3925 or in WRT610N?
I just connected my WRT120N router to the modem of my Cable provider. Everything seems to work well, however every 1-3 days I cannot access internet anymore with my laptop. When I press "IP address release" button in the router settings everything seems to work fine for again 1-3 days. Is there any way I can prevent this from happening all the time?

I have an AP(Cisco Lynksis Wireless G WAP54G) with one port (LAN) on the back, i have tried several time accessing the administration page but in vain. I reseted the AP (holding the reset button within 10 secondes) and try again to access through my internet brower but still having the same issue on accessing the admin page. The main target is to access the admin page and configure settings in order to amplify my signal in some offices away.
View 7 Replies View RelatedI replaced my D-link router with a new EA4500 last night.I can get to the internet, I set up 2 computers wirelessly, I set up a printer wirelessly.I am struggling with the NAS.I have a D-link DNS-323 which was previously connected to the D-link router via ethernet cable and worked fine.The Cisco Connect software does NOT have the ability to "connect" an ethernet-connected device, only USB or wireless.Windows Explorer does not see the DNS.The DNS- 323 has a fixed IP address which I know. I type it into my browser and it can't find it.I have shut down the DNS and unplugged the power for a full reset.I am running Win 7 Ultimate on my PC.

However, I am unable to pull up the ASDM GUI launch page using IE9, Google Chrome, or Firefox using my Windows 7 computer. Using Wireshark, I can see that I'm getting a TLSv1 handshake failure.I fired up a Windows XP VM inside of Virtual Box to see if it would work better. Turns out my XP VM with IE 8 pulls up the ASDM launch page without a problem. why my Windows 7 system can't pull up the ASDM launch page?

1. Downloaded newest firmware from the site using old router, Then disconnected. Connected a lan cable to the new router. Powered up the router. Held down reset untill the light blinks. Went to the browser and typed 192.168.1.1. Entered password to go into router and upgraded firmware. 2. 5 Ghz Settings: Went to Wireless menu. Selected "manual", mode is "mixed" (If i chose N only for 5 Ghz, then It won't save my setting for internet security. Instead it will be "disable" no matter what". The rest was default. SSID is enabled. Then I set up the 2.5 Ghz. I have 3 other computers with N wireless card. Some others have G, however when I viewed available networks, I only see the 2.4 Ghz ssid. I tried to reboot and unplug power for 10 seconds, but no luck seeing the 5 Ghz.
