Linksys Wireless Router :: WRT610N - Block All XXX URL's?

Dec 20, 2011

I have the Linksys WRT610N wireless router and would like to know if it is possible to block all domains ending in .XXX?  The access restrictions let you type in a 'specific' URL, but using a generic domain name doesn't seem to work.  I basically want to block all access to any URL that ends in .XXX.

Linksys Wireless Router :: E4200 Can't Use A Specific Website

Aug 28, 2012

I was having a problem viewing the {Url } but it has worked for the past year. I just purchased a new router E4200 and thought that would reserve the issue. When I first installed it I could get on the site and then about 10 minutes later when I restarted my MacBook I could no longer get on the site. I can't get on it on my MacBook, or iPad but I can when I'm on 3G on my phone.

Linksys Wireless Router :: E3000 Can't Get To A Specific Website

Oct 23, 2010

I have a Linksys E3000 and everything is working fine...until one day this last week.  A website I go to all the time stopped working.  The website is Martini in the Morning, url....  It's a great internet radio station.  I listen to the station via other resources, but I can't get to the website which has lots of features I use.The specifics are that from any of the computers connected to our network, I can't reach the site.  When I plug a computer directly into the Comcast modem, I can reach the site.  I have changed nothing that I am conscious of and everything was working until Monday of this last week.I thought it wasn't making it out of the router, but a TRACERT shows that I am.  I have a desktop running Vista, 2 laptops running XP Pro, an iPad and none of them can connect to that site.  My iPhone can't connect when it's on the network, but when it's on 3G, it can. Block Access To Internet On Specific Time Intervals?

Aug 10, 2011

I have the Qwest/Actiontec Q1000 modem/router. I go to the ip address using my web-browser and open up advanced configurations -> access scheduler. I select a computer (and it automatically adds the MAC address) and then the days/times I want the internet to be accessible. However, when I click "add" (to add my internet allowance to the scheduler list) it just says 12:00 to 0:00, which is essentially permanently blocking the internet for that computer.

Linksys Wireless Router :: EA4500 Don't Allow To Access A Specific Website?

May 18, 2012

I just bought the new EA4500 router and I'm experiencing problems to access the my bank website [URL] I can't access this website.

I thought that the problem could be with Comcast, but I tested my Mac with a cable directly connected into the cable modem and it worked fine. I was able to access every site.

It could be a problem with browser security, but I even tested with different computers (Mac, PC's, Ipad, Smartphones) and none of them were able to access the [URL] wirelessly.

It seems something strange with the router. I tested some forum solutions (MUT, QoS) but they didn't work.

Linksys Wireless Router :: Cannot Reach A Specific Website - E3000

May 15, 2012

I am trying to access [URL] with a Linksys E3000 router. A few days ago it was working fine, and between then and now I made no changes to my network, it just stopped working one day, I assumed the website was down but it turns out that I am able to access the website fine on other networks or via proxies. I also hooked up my computer directly to my modem and I was able to connect to the website fine, but when I try my wired connection to the router I am unable to connect, I have tried Google DNS without success. I know this is a problem with my router, not my modem or computer or ISP.

Cannot Access A Specific Website Through Router On Any Computer?

Jan 4, 2012

So I have a really strange problem where I cannot access my credit union's website at all through any computer in my house. I've tried on 3 different laptops both Mac and PC, along with PC desktop and my iPhone. What's weird is that I can access the website on my iPhone if I turn off wifi and use 3G - no problems. But once I'm on the wireless network again it just loads for 20-30 seconds before saying it can't connect to the server. The URL is which I also checked on down for everyone or just me - the results came back immediately saying it's just me!t this point I literally have no idea what to do... tried resetting the router, logging into the admin via 192.168.1.1 and couldn't find any firewalls or blocked URLs. I'm fairly knowledgeable with computers and OS' but networking I'm no savant.

Cannot Access Specific Website

Sep 22, 2012

I've gone through a variety of diagnostics and I honestly don't know what to think. It's not my computer, as I can access the site on this computer on a different network. It's likely not the whole of my LAN network either, because my kindle can access the site through it. I can always access it on this computer with a proxy as well. I can ping it fine, and tracert it equally as well.I've tried everything from socket fixes, DNS flushes, getting new WAN IP addresses. When I got a new WAN IP address the first time the site was accessible once, and then it stopped again after that. I can't clone the MAC address from the router, because it doesn't allow it.

Also when I enter the url and press enter, it goes to a google search with a very long url, this doesn't happen with any other url.
