Where 10.x.x.1 is ciscoworks LMS server. I found a solution on many sites that suggest resetting DFM database. I stopped first the daemon manager and tried to apply the perl script:
perl dbRestoreOrig.pl dsn=dfmInv dmprefix=INV npwd=cisco
but it gives me the following error:

CRM.pm already exists in the path ENV{NMSROOT}/lib/perl/db
At line 31 of dbRestoreOrig.pl – the error – I found the following:
push(@INC, "$ENV{NMSROOT}/cgi-bin/dbadmin/pdbadmin");
use lib "$ENV{NMSROOT}/lib/perl/db";
I gave the system the path of NMSROOT and run the script again but it gives me the same error “Can't locate CRM.pm”
About 1-5 times per week I will find the jrm process showing as "Administrator has shut down this server". I have written a script that 2/day checks the status of the jrm process and if it is down, restarts it (pdexec jrm). About 25% of the time the jrm process will then show a status of "waiting to initialize". The only way I have found to recover it to shut down CiscoWorks and restart it (takes about 25 minutes). Why it would shutdown or how to get it restarted after the initializing state?

1. net start crmdmgtd did start correctly, so we use resetcasuser.exe and it works some minutes then this issue came back again. I ask the customer to put the casuser in the local administrator group, then customer was able to execute net start crmdmgtd.
2. but some process doesn't start see pdshow.txt.When trying to launch ciscoview, we have this error :Error in communicating with DCRServer. DCR Server may be down. Please start the DCRServer and then refresh the page.At RME home page, I have a error message about jrm, but I don't remerber it.
In the pdshow, we can see that DCRServer is in Waiting to initialize state.We have installed the fix for CSCte49301 bug, but the issue still exist you will find dcrserver.log and dcrclient.log.
my machine is set up to dual boot Windows XP Professional Edition and Windows 7 Home edition. I had Windows XP installed on this machine first because it is 10 years old and I wasn't sure how well it would work with Windows 7. I decided to test out Windows 7 a few months after using Windows XP on here and noticed the wireless network was started right when Windows 7 loaded, where as in Windows XP it can take anywhere from 1-3 minutes for the wireless network to load. In this 1-3 minute time frame on Windows XP any browser or attempted connection to the internet 'hangs' and does not display a time out, it just continues to try and connect until the wireless icon finally shows in the taskbar

1. Generate CSR file and private key file, then send CSR to GeoTrust (Key length: 2048 and Digest to sign with SHA1)
2. GeoTrust send me a certificate. Issued by "GeoTrust SSL CA".
3. Install the certificate on the ACS. Restart ACS service.
4. ACS Certification authority setup. Issued by "VeriSign Class 2 Public Primary Certification Authority - G3"
5. Edit certificate trust list and select "VeriSign Class 2 Public Primary Certification Authority - G3" as trusted.
6. Enable EAP-TLS, then restarted the ACS service. The problem is when i try to enable EAP i get the error msg:Failed to initialize PEAP or EAP-TLS authentication protocol because CA certificate is not installed. Install the CA certificate using "ACS Certification Authority Setup" page.I searched on cisco and it said to disable the CSA, but in fact there is no CSA installed on this server.

My Dell Dimension 3100 (XP) connects to my BT Home Hub wireless router using a Belkin 54mbps G USB wireless adapter. My computer had a virus so I ran Avast virus scanner and repaired or removed any infected files. Now the program doesn't start automatically like it used to and when I try to open it i get an error message saying "Unable to locate files: C Program Files BelkinF5D7050v3rdcm2k.dll". I also have the disk for this but when I try to run it it says "An error occurred while defining the dialogue box." I also get this message when I try to uninstall or change it.
View 2 Replies View RelatedThe internet connection at our business goes down overnight, every night. We then have to turn off the router and turn it back on. It is not the fault of the ISP, but some setting somewhere, either in the router (SG 310 Snapgear) or in a particular program being accessed each night. Fact is, for the time being we are just trying to find out the precise time when this happens, so we can find out a reason. Is there a utility that can monitor the status and tell you at what exact point it stopped?

View 8 Replies View RelatedSeems pretty obvious to me that D-link is using linux in rev B1 hardware. Its not big secret thou if i have read right from url...why D-link is sticking with this shareport-utility. Even the B1 hardware has common usb-port for sure, which can be controlled by linux and therefore there would be more simple way to get things like printer working with it over network. Also ssh-server support would not be too big investment. right? And why im not so fully changing to openwrt or dd-wrt is that the patches are not in stable tree yet and i think that i can be pretty happy with the current web-ui of dlink and dont have much of time to setup my router for openwrt.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI just have a quick question about the TFTP utilities that Linksys has. I tried to upgrade the firmware of my BEFSR41 v1 router using the TFTP utility for a BEFSX41 and it didn't work(I just hope I did it correctly).
So, the question is, are these utilities router-specific or they should work with other routers as well?
I am running my home network and WAP(WPA2) behind a d-link gaming router (DHCP) with no inbound or outbound restrictions; however, I am unable to access the internet using my ipad unless I put the WAP in the DMZ. Also, if I configure security using the setup program, I can not log on to the web based utility. I have to disable security with the set up program and then log into the utility. BTW..the UID must be left blank to log into the utility( PW only) to configure the WAP, even though the manual says otherwise.
Now after all this, the WAP will be up and running for days even a few weeks. Then for no reason it will no longer be accessible and I will power it down and back up and it works fine. But this will work only a few times and I have to hit the reset button and reconfigure it all over again.
The firmware has been updated and nothing else has issues on the network. This has been happening since i bought it 3yrs ago, using an iPad, iPhone, Laptops, and PCs( XP and Windows 7) but in the past year it has been more frequent.
I can see what MAC addresses have a wireless session and I've used MAC Filtering to stop some MAC addresses from using the network at certain times, but they are still getting through to the internet. I don't know if they were to clone their MAC address as to whether this would show up with the cloned address in active sessions list. How I can stop some users from getting through at certain times? Any utility I can use on my Mac (Mac OS X 10.6. to show which computers/MAC addresses are on the network?

The Dell Mobile Broadband Utility (DMBCU) now reports an APPCRASH upon launch only when Windows Internet Explorer 8 (IE8) is installed. I am working through the migration from ACS 4.1.4 on Windows Server 2003 to ACS 5.2 on the appliance. I have created the 4.1.4 migration server, installed the software and imported the data from our production ACS 4.1.4 box. I downloaded the migration utility from the 5.2 ACS server and am attempting to run on the 4.1.4 migration server. The question that fails is:
Enter ACS 4.x Server ID:
I do not know what this means and do not see anything on the 4.1.4 server that identifies the Server ID. I try localhost and it does not work and the 4.1.4 server is not registered in DNS or I would try that (and . are not valid characters in the ID so the IP does not work).
How have other people handled this question? Is there something that can identify the local server ID?
Does Cisco have any plans to incorporate the CiscoWorks User Tracking Utility into LMS Prime 4.2 or any newer version of LMS? View 3 Replies View RelatedI tried to upgrade to 2.05NA several times and there always ends up being an issue that support is too sad to give the correct answer to and just puts a consumer thru "jumping thru hoops" and getting nowhere.2.05NA (actually started with 2.03NA) first caused a problem with limiting my upload speed to 1024mb. I happened across the fix on another forum and tried it and it worked. It was the default QoS setting D-Link changed after version 2.02NA and refuses to release a new firmware to fix this for everyone. Why they don't release a new FW that fixes the issue but keeps things promised on the package working is beyond me. Now, I purchased a D-Link DNS-323 and I finally got drives to fill it some time back. If 2.05NA is loaded, the Easy Search Utility will not connect to the NAS. I have tried the version the NAS came with AND the latest version offered. It will see the NAS upon 1st launch of the latest Easy Search Utility, but it will not connect and then it disappears if you relaunch the utility and won't return until a reboot. Bottom Line: it will not connect with 2.05NA loaded. It works fine with 2.02NA.
What is the setting that D-Link has screwed over here also that is causing this problem? It is pretty sad that their own hardware items won't play well together unless you run old FW. What setting D-Link changed that is making the D-Link DIR-825 not connect to the D-Link DNS-323 NAS when the DIR-825 has 2.05NA loaded. I have a DIR-825 Rev. B1 and a DNS-323 NAS with its latest firmware. I am using 2.02NA on the router since that is the only one that works and is the latest stable release(other than the DHCP reserve issue), no matter what D-Link wants to try to make people think. I won't try their support since they NEVER did give me the fix for the QoS upload issue and when I asked them to put it as a sticky in this forum when I found the answer somewhere else....well, there is no sticky as we all know. I would like to be able to have the DHCP Reserve issue working too, but I would like to connect to my NAS more at this point.
