May 7, 2011Every time opening up Windows 7 a box of the message popping up in the middle of the screen, saying,'Failed to run service'. After two or second later, connection is completed as seeing '5 bars' at the right bottom corner of Win. 7.Afterward, upon clicking to open 'Home Page,' another message popping-up in the middle of the screen,'Check online for a solution and close the Program' Clicked 'OK' and a box of message disappeared and connection is very fast as if nothing is amiss.I think that 'Smart Wizard' or something that came with Netgear Adapter doing this.

Feb 23, 2012I use to could be able to watch videos and listen to music, and download at optimal speeds, I could even watch HD if I wanted to, but now all of a sudden (starting at least 3 weeks ago) videos, downloads, and music seem to run super slow no matter what quality I have it on. It takes 5 minutes to buffer a 3 min video, and if I want to watch a show, it take like 2 or 3 hours to fully buffer. My internet still goes fast, and I have trendmicro antivirus, as well as ccleaner, i updated my drivers, i have ie9 and adobe flashhplayer 11.1, i updated everything in windows update, i unplugged the modem for awhile and shut down more often, and opened it up and blew all the dust out. I don't know what else to do. I do have a cisco E2000 wireless router if that's a problem, and both my ps3 and my computer are on the connection, but my computer was working fine with both on the same connection for a year. I go on the http:192.168.1.1 cisco place, and i renewed ip settings, and nothing worked.

Dec 6, 2011So I got 8MB/1MB internet at home and so far I haven't been able to fix the problem I have: if I watch youtube and try to play pretty much any game that uses internet, i go from 70ms ping to 300ms++ instantly. Even if only two computers are on and both have the same game on, just opening a Google Chrome with one youtube tab on causes a HUGE ping. Two computers with youtube and CS 1.6 on shouldn't cause that.My setup is as following: old ZyXel ADSL-modem 660 series with one LAN port and web config (so it has settings to be modify) and a Linksys WRT54GL with DD-WRT v23. All computers I use run either 32-bit Windows 7, Vista or XP. However, it doesn't matter which computers I use; I've tried this with more than 5 computers already. All cables have also been tested and changed.

I have Web, FTP, SMTP and POP running on the same server in my LAN. I need to us NAT/PAT to direct incoming traffic to it. I belive I have this done correctly, but obviously not...I only have port 80 configured in the config file, if I can get that to work the rest would be the same........

Cabling / Cards :: Connection Coming And Going?
Jul 6, 2012I have network: 20 PC's conected to a switch (ordinary switch), from switch to a router (for DHCP and internet conection), Router is connected to a cable modem.
Lately an issue arised. One PC started having problem witch connection (PC is windows 7, up to date). PC instead of 192 addres is getting 169 (i need to highlight it is a problem with only one PC). That means the PC is connected to the Router but it is not getting proper IP addres. After changig the addres to static the connection ws fine for few days and then in networc connection icon (botom right) it came up with 'unidentified network' message. I changed the patchleeds, even changed the connection with known working line (from outlet to patchpanel) and the connection was coming and going. Then I changed network card with the same resoult. I noticed strange thing: While the IP is 169 or when 'unid net' when I unplug the cable from outlet then plug back and do so couple times in one moment the connection is back and stable but only for some period of time. Cables had been re terminated with new jacks and at the patch panel. Drivers for network card are up to date.

Feb 17, 2011I live in a house with four other people so I need a lot of free ethernet ports.I currently have three routers daisy-chained together and I want to add a fourth, but I can't seem to.When I plug it up, pages refuse to load on computers connected to it. I read something about disabling DHCP, but I have two other routers chained to my primary and didn't need to do that. This one's branching off the main one though, instead of being at the end of the chain.I'm trying to hook up either the Linksys 4-port wired router or the 8-port one (I have both). I tried disabling DHCP on it and setting the IP thing to 192.168.2.1 instead of 192.168.1.1 and it worked for a few minutes, then nothing.I also tried that with the TRENDnet one and the same thing happened (had to reset that one to factory defaults).Is it possible to have two routers coming off another or does it need to be a proper chain? Why did I not have to disable DHCP on the others and they still work fine?

Cisco :: 4402 WLC / LMS 4.2 Threshold Coming
Mar 1, 2012I'm using RADIUS and FlexConnect APs. The issue is intermittently users will lose connectivity as if they're de-authenticated. Their clients still believe they're associated to wireless but they have no network connectivity. On Windows 7 we receive the exclamation point over the signal strength indicator.
There doesn’t seem to be any rhyme or reason as to what is causing this. It doesn’t seem to happen at any particular time intervals or anything else I can identify. Sometimes users will go entire days without experiencing connectivity issues sometimes they can’t go five minutes. When the clients are experiencing the issues they cannot even ping their default gateway.
The setup was initially the following:
Site A: 1142N APs and RADIUS server (server 2003) users are authenticating to.
Site B: Flex 7510 running code 7.0.116
Between site A and site B there is a site to site VPN with no restrictions.
After some time of working with TAC and not getting anywhere I setup the following:Site A: 4402 WLC running code 7.0.116 connected the same 1142N APs HREAP mode. I had the same issue with connectivity with that setup.Today I changed over to local mode and as of yet I haven’t had reports of connectivity issues.
When running ‘debug client MAC’ I see no indication of connectivity issues. I also have an NCS and I don’t see anything indicating what the issue is there as well. I’ve tried with both enabling and disabling ‘H-REAP Local Auth’. We seem to experience the issue in H-REAP standalone mode as well.
Linksys Wireless Router :: E1000 - LED Not Coming On?
Feb 10, 2013My wireless router (E1000) was accidentally unplugged. Since then the wireless LED light doesnt come on and the router cannot be detected. All the other lights are on. I tried to reset it but I dont think it worked, since the power LED didnt blink as its supposed to do after holding reset for 10-15 seconds (or more!!).

Oct 29, 2012our FWSM (in 6509) is not coming up, when tried to sesssion up using "Session slot 1 proc 1" command,It is giving error , "Tyring 127.0.0.11 .....connection timed out remote host not responding".
In "show mod" command output at Switch in IOS console: under Card Type Section: it is showing Model & Serial Number correctly, Under MAC address sectino: displaying some MAC address But in Online Diag Status, it showing "Unknown" for Module 1.
We tried re-seating in other slots, but of no use. Giving same error. Some of other forms are saying it is the issue with 128 Mb CF image problem, FWSM is no more reachable from 6509 IOS console. We even tried using FWSM console (using PC-Conse & LCP Console) but FWSM is not contactable.
