I had a problem earlier today upgrading to a new N router. All PCs in the house connected wirelessly except my laptop which I got the message below.The settings saved on this computer for the network do not match the requirements of the network.

My network is on the list but it says "The settings saved on this computer for network do not match the requirements of the network" and the Connect button is not active.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI just got a DCS-930L camera. I was able to set the password (10 characters) and complete the setup. It then said I needed to update the firmware which I did and it successfully completed. I was able to access it through the mydlink web page but when I clicked on the advanced settings, it wouldn't log in. I tried running the setup from the CD but it said "There was a problem saving your settings. Click Next to try again." That never worked. I tried a hard reset, no luck.
View 3 Replies View Relatedeven though I have successfully added the network manually, using the same settings as my other laptop which has no trouble connecting. So now, the network appears in my "Connect to a wireless network" box, but whenever I try to connect, it says "Windows cannot connect to *name of network*" So when I troubleshoot the problems, it states "Check your wireless settings. Make sure your computer is in range of *Network* and that the network settings match the wireless router or access point settings." I KNOW it's in range because my other computer is connected properly right next to this one. So it must be a problem with my network settings. Though I don't see how that can be because my settings on both computers are exactly the same, but one's connected and one's not. Could the problem simply be that I haven't logged on to my router online to add this computer to the network?
View 3 Replies View RelatedNo matter what I do, whenever I enter the Web Interface for my E4200, the page comes up in Russian (at least I think it is russian!!)! I have changed the language to English (by trial and error discovered it was the first option at the top of the pull-down list) many times and yes, selected save at the bottom of the Setup page. I get the message back "Your settings have been successfully saved".But next time I go in, it is back to either Russian or sometimes some other wierd script, and I have to reselect English.

There are two devices hardwired to it; a server and a Linksys WRT610N, The server is hardwired to it with port forwarding set for ports 21, 80 and 5900. It works perfectly and can be reached as intended by the outside world but not by our own network. Our Linksys WRT610N is hardwired to the modem. All computers on the wireless network see each other and can access the internet perfectly. So all seems well enough. BUT, no computer on our network can reach our server. Using the domain name or VNC connections from inside our system results in time outs and no connection.

I have tried to manually connect to the router with correct security WPA-Personal (TKIP) and correct password but then the computer says "settings saved on this computer for the network do not match the requirements of the network".How can I get the computer to detect the correct security? At that time, I have to delete the previous one in "managed network password", then open the shared folder with new username, again save the old once once it is done.Is there anyway I can just open with different usernames without deleting the saved one? Different users have different privileges in server. Similarly, how to delete temporarily network cached passwords without restarting? I tried net user * /delete but it doesn't work?

In have the 942l and the mydlink Lite app on the iPhone. I have recording set up on the camera capturing in .mp4 format. I can view the camera on the phone fine. I can go the menu and select playback. I see the date of my recordings and the time. Each individual file is listed as you can see.
When I select any of these files, I get a black screen.
Do I need to change the rtsp URL? Anyone have this working correctly on the iPhone? If so, can you share your settings?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI use my desktop for streaming media throughout the house. I found it was causing lag for gaming most likely because it was taking up all the bandwidth for the router. We had a 2nd router laying around as well as a 2nd wireless adapter so we set up a 2nd network that was not connected to the internet for strictly media streaming.I attempted to change the network settings so the internet connection appeared as a public network so that streaming of media was hopefully diverted to the non internet wireless adapter.I want a faster way of transferring large video files from my laptop to my desktop. I recently bought a crossover cable to do this through direct connection.Both use the same user name and password as well as run the same win 7 pro however the desktop is the 64 bit version. I set up both ipv4 with the same addresses.When it has worked I am only getting a connection speed of just over 10mb and once I connect the crossover cable between the computers it knocks out my internet connection on the wireless card.

I am trying to load the anyconnect VPN client package v3 for windows and Mac on ASA 5510. The ASA has 256MB for RAM and Flash. After I uploaded pkg files and selected the 2 files and applied from ASDM, ASDM spots responding...
I tried to tftp the running config from ASA to my laptop to analyse but got "No memory available" message...
So it seems like the "unzip" process of the pkg files used up memory... what is really the requirement of the mini Memory/RAM on ASA for hosting anyconnect Clients for 2 OS platform? Requirement on Cisco web site is kind of vague.
I have 50 WAP connected to a WLC 5508. When I backup the config I don't see the custom settings I put in some WAP. Where are the WAP settings saved at ?
