Belkin Routers :: 300N - Access WAN Via Wireless While Firewall Wired Computers?

The facility provides WiFi access. I'd like to configure his router to access the facility's WiFi, as WAN access to the internet while providing DHCP service to the wired ports. The idea is to use the 4 wired ports to provide inter-connectivity to each other and internet access via the router's wireless connection via wireless for internet access by the wired client machines.I'd also like to firewall the wired devices from access by other users of the facility Wireless network.Can I do that? How do I configure the wireless aspect of their Belkin Share 300N? What other settings do I have to set.

I upgraded my internet connection through charter and they shipped a new modem. Installed my new modem and my 300n will not connect to it. So in my attempts to figured things out I went it in and set it up as an access point only. I can access the internet on my desktop but there is no wireless signal in the house. Cannot connect to 192.168.2.1 now either. Tried the manual reset to factory defaults with no luck. At this point all I get is the small flashing blue light and the tall skinny light is not on at all.

Belkin N750 Router - wired connection can not access Internet. I've tried direct to modem and have no problem, have tried old router, no problem, but if I shut down desktop completely (Win7) and restart, I get no connection. Uninstalling the NIC (Intel 82579V Giga) and restarting, then I get connection again. However, if I start in safe mode with networking, I have no problems at all. I've disabled my firewall to no avail.

I have xfinity internet with a comcast rented modem connected to a personally owned belkin router. I can successfully connect to the internet directly from the modem or if I connect to the modem to the router and then to my computer via ethernet cable. I cannot for the life of me connect wirelessly with any devices. The router previously worked when it was hooked up to comcast internet, but it was moden->router->my router. When I connect wirelessly on my Windows 7 laptop, it says I connect and that there is internet access. But when I try to load a page it takes me direclty to this website: url.. Comcast says that it is my router that needs configuring properly with xfinity and wants to charge me $39 to provide this wonderful service.

Cannot get wireless from any computers in home or room even the computer that I have installed the Belkin N300 on. When I click on the Belkin Icon on task bar get message "Wireless hardware not found" followed by comments about wireless radio not turned on and then how to recognize it with wireless radio icons. I bought my own modem, a Motorolla Extreme something or other, is a DOCSIS 3.0. My router is a Belkin N150. When I plug my desktop computer directly into the router, I get speeds upwards of 50Mbps. The wireless, however, gets about 0.15Mbps download, but as much as 12Mbps upload.
I know it's not computer specific, because I plugged my laptop directly into the modem and got the full speed. AND I put a wireless adaptor on the desktop and got the slower speeds.I live in a densely populated area and there are 27 other (visible) wireless networks available (all locked, unfortunately. Otherwise I wouldn't be in this situation in the first place). So I tried every channel, doing a speedtest with each, and I got almost identical results each time: 0.12-0.17Mbps download, 11-13Mbps upload. I can't imagine that getting only 0.15Mbps could be a result of a channel being clogged, but I tried it anyway;

I've been using "Linksys by Cisco Wireless-N Home ADSL2+ Modem Router WAG120N". I can restrict internet access to only 8 computers using their Mac adresses but there are no ore entry fields for Mac adress than 8. What shall I do when I need to block internet access to more than 8 computers say 20 computers on wired LAN? I don't like the option blocking the internet access via IP address. Earlier today I put in a password for my Belkin_G_Wireless_CC7A57 router. I had to change something, im not sure what it was. it was like WPA or WAP. now it wont let me go to my router settings 192.168.2.1 in the address bar is how i have been getting to it. now it just takes me to a OOPS google chrome cannot open this web page..... I just want to restore the router to it factory default settings. it will let this laptop on and another one in the house but not an older one we have which runs Windows XP. If i can get to my router settings i will be fine..

I have a dell desktop running windows vista that connects to my wireless router with a cable. I have an HP laptop that is running windows 7 that is wireless.When I look at network computers on the dell I get an error message that says that the computer is not accessible. The same thing happens when I try to log onto the desktop from the laptop. When I try to run the network wizard from the desktop, I see see connect to the internet, connect to a wireless router or access point, setup a dialup connection and connect to a workplace.None of them make sense but I tried connect to a wireless router and got a message that said to set it up manually or set up a flash drive, neither of which makes sense. I tried set it up manually and all that happened is the router setup screen opened up.I tried the same thing on the laptop and the setup the network wizard opened a screen that said choose a wireless router or access point to configure, but nothing ever showed up on that screen.

I'm a college student working on a lab involving a Cisco PIX 501 Firewall.
My project involves 1 computer and a firewall. My goal is to use the firewall to allow access to the internet for that computer which uses a static IP 192.168.1.5 and ONLY for that IP address. The firewall is connected to the internet.
I have the computer hooked up to the firewall with the serial and using hyper terminal to enter commands. I think I need to use access lists in order to deny traffic on those ports for those particular hosts. I can't figure out exactly how I need to set it up.
What I need to do is permit internet access for 192.168.1.5 alone. Any other IP should not be able to access the internet.
I tried:
access-list 1 permit tcp host 192.168.1.5 any eq 80
access-group 1 in interface inside
I cannot access the internet using the computer with 192.168.1.5. The goal is to be able to access with that IP and no other.

Ever since i upgraded my os from windows xp to windows 7 i've been getting lag spikes at least once every 5 minutes. With my ping going up to 1500 easily and staying up there for about 20-30 seconds. My brother is connected to the same router as me and he isn't experiencing any issue's with his internet connection (He is also using windows 7). Is this a common error?

Our wireless clients that connect through our AP541N cannot see other computers on the network. They can ping other computers by IP and host name and access the internet OK. Mapped network drives can be connected initially but are very unreliable and always end up disconnecting. Restarting the computer does not work. When these computers are wired they see the network as expected. why my wireless network would behave differently then the wired? The wired and wireless networks are on the same VLAN. The wireless clients are all Windows 7 systems.

Can I use my F5D7230-4 as an access point? I need to provide a hardwired ethernet connection to my A/V reciever but not have a wired port in the area of my house. I have an existing wireless router thru Century Link. This problem started happening a few days ago. Whenever I try to access [URL] on my computer that's not physically connected to the router and modem, I keep getting a 403 error:
You don't have permission to access / on this server.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Never had an issue before up until now.

My N300 Wifi Range Extender does not let me connect to Internet. I can access other systems connected on the main WIfi network, but I cannot access Internet.I observe as well that all systems connected to the Extender appear, from the main Wifi network, having the same Mac address. I believe that my ISP (Telenet) does not accept that, and that this is the reason I cannot connect to Internet. Is there any way to change that behaviour ?

When I set up the Belkin F9K1102 as an access point I can no longer access it via the ip-address and it does not accept the new ip-address I've given it, but takes the ip-address 192.168.2.254, while my network is on the 192.168.1.XXX address series. The only way I can do this is by manually given the router a new address, then manually turn of the DHCP- server and finally move the internet cable from the WAN port to one of the LAN ports - but then the LED-indicator on the router is blinkin red.

I just upgraded my motherboard and I'm happy that the WUSB 300N is still working. Slightly annoying issue when I wake my computer from sleep. No internet connection and when I go to adapter settings, the WUSB 300n is disabled. If I click enable, nothing happens. The adapter will immediately come back to life and connect to the router and internet if I unplug it and then plug it back in (the usb connector).I also notice that the adapter is still on when my computer is asleep, all of the lights are still on and blinking, this is not the same behavior that it had before, then it would just appear to be completely off. The motherboard is a MSI P67A-GD65 with an intel i5 2500K. There are some different C-State power settings that I'm not familiar with (previously had an AMD based mobo and processor).
