Belkin Routers :: F6D4230-4 Not Connecting And Getting Offline?

Have a Belkin F6D4230-4 Version 3, both times we have stayed here we have noticed the same issue, we can connect to the router, but after a while it throws everything offline, and then you will see the orange light on the front of the router flashing. I usually have to reboot the router to get it to come back online. I did check the firmware version and it is the latest version 3.0 something, but it did say it was the latest?

I recently got a Belkin N150 Enhanced Router Model F6D4230-4 V1. I upgraded it to the recent firmware.
I use it NOT to access internet, but only to hook up my desktop computer with my laptop and my tablet PC. I use Win7 Ultimate on both computers. I configured a Win7 home network and I managed to access shared files between the 3 devices.
However, the speed is very very low, not going over 1.5 MB per second , sometimes even less, although the signal strength is the maximum (54).
The distance between the laptop and the desktop is only 4-5 meters, in the same room. My laptop is HP Compaq 6710b which has what seems to be a "Intel(R) PRO/Wireless 3945ABG Network Connection" .
Transfer speed is the same whether transferring from or to the laptop. I configured the laptop according to the instructions in the manual.

i have a belkin wireless router F6D4230-4. the "wired" and "router" lights are green but the "wireless", "modem", and "internet" lights won't come on. when they do, its red. the router is connected but won't pick up in any other rooms or on our phones.

I have xfinity internet with a comcast rented modem connected to a personally owned belkin router. I can successfully connect to the internet directly from the modem or if I connect to the modem to the router and then to my computer via ethernet cable. I cannot for the life of me connect wirelessly with any devices. The router previously worked when it was hooked up to comcast internet, but it was moden->router->my router. When I connect wirelessly on my Windows 7 laptop, it says I connect and that there is internet access. But when I try to load a page it takes me direclty to this website: url.. Comcast says that it is my router that needs configuring properly with xfinity and wants to charge me $39 to provide this wonderful service.

My main networking device is the Ericsson T073G HGU ONT, and when I am connecting to the network through the Ethernet there are no problems. However when I connect my Belkin F6D4230-4 router to it (through cable) my router cannot recognize the modem.I have tried literally everything.

I have two matching N300 Belkin routers. The cable modem feeds into modem1 and modem1 feeds into modem2. I get a good wireless connection on modem1. Modem2 shows up on a wireless scan and it accepts the password. It however will not connect.

N750 DB USB printer not connecting. I'm currently running a Canon MP480 multi-purpose printer connected through USB to the N750 DB router. I have both the printer driver and Belkin USB Print and Storage Manager software installed on a desktop PC that connects wirelessly to the router. The Belkin print manager software "sees" the printer, but when I try to connect it says please install printer drivers. I've installed and re-installed these drivers a few times, with no effects.

Play Max N600 HD (F7D4301) Dual network operation - on behind Belkins firewall. I have just changed the structure of my network for reasons of additional services being added. I now have in the front room the ADSL modem connected to a switch and 2 PC's. The switch is also pbugged into an ethernet plug in the wall which feeds to the other end of the house where the Belkin router is. I have all devices working on the internet correctly. The issue is getting access between the two networks and the devices on the two networks. I have added the ip addresses of the PC's to the router's LAN/Static Route, but that didn't work. The network in front room (after ADSL Modem is 192.168.1.x and after Belkin router it is 192.168.2.x. Is there a way I can allow access between the two networks between devices?

I have a Belkin F7D8301 wireless router.Yesterday I changed my wireless passcode via an RJ45 cable plugged into the router from my laptop. Now if Belkin Router Monitor starts at logon it prevents me from connecting. In an atempt to connect Router Monitor askes me for the SSID and the PASSWORD it wants the one from the card that came with the router but seeing as that has been changed by me I put in my SSID and password and it fails. I need to have Router Monitor running because I have a printer plugged into one of the USB ports on the router and I can not print without Router Monitor running.

I am connecting to internet via motorola modem which gives me approx 6 Mbps download speed when I test it with both speedtest.net and speakeasy.net. Any device that I use connected wirelessly to my Belkin N300 router only acheives about 1.3 MBps of download speed. Is this just the way it is or could I have a router configuration issue or something else?

I can't seem to get my Canon MG5220 Wireless Printer to connect to my Belkin N150 wireless router. The printer sees the belkin wireless router network name but cannot connect to it( after entering the correct security key). It worked fine with a previous wireless router. My desktop PC is connected to the belkin router via direct ethernet, and I want to be able to access my wireless printer which is located in another room from my PC. I think I remember reading that the canon mg5220 may not support WPA2 security, but Its only a year old and would prefer not to regonfigure my router's security setting. how I can get this printer to connect to my router? Any other ways to access this printer from my PC which is connected to LAN via ethernet?

I have a belkin surf n300 usb wireless N micro adapter. No problems installing this adapter on a HP Desktop running windows 7. I have tried to install on a gateway laptop also running windows y 64 bit. In device manager it show that the product is working. It will not connect to any network. Anyone having problems connecting N150 router to a 1st Generation Nest Thermostat? Nest support says it's a problem with them not conforming "to the TCP/IP specifications around Network Address Translation (NAT) timeouts and are disconnecting Nest too soon". Any way to work around this problem until/if a firmware update fixes it?

I am trying to connect a Seagate Backup Plus 4TB USB HDD to the USB port on my Belkin ShareMax N300 wireless router. The router does not recognize this HDD. I know that the HDD is functioning because it works when I connect it directly to my laptop USB. I also know the Belkin USB port is working because it recognizes a 4GB USB memory stick and a 320GB Toshiba USB HDD. Is there a fundamental compatability problem, or is there some configuration that must be performed (e.g., reformat from NTFS to FAT32, etc.)? I saw some message traffic on the Belkin support site that indicated some issues with earlier versions of Belkin routers using larger HDDs (e.g., 4 TB). My router has a serial number 121026G3101468, model number F7D7301 v1.

My RVS 4000 v1 router firmware version 1.3.0.5 has been intermittently going off-line ... a reset of the power resolves the issue temporarly. My plan was to update the firmware but I haven't been able to download an uncorrupted version of the firmware file on the Cisco support site. The file downloads as a zip file but the winzip program says that the file is not in a valid zip format and cannot open it.

My first question.. is it possible to connect wirelessly from the Linksys to the Belkin, then run an ethernet cable from the Belkin to the PC?
