I'm using ASA 902, and I deploy any connect ssl only and no IPSec... It always open only connection if you start via browser, you cannot reconnect using installed software.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have not worked with ASDM in a while. I have a 5510, with asdm-645.bin in the flash. The device runs version 8.4(2). I can download ASDM from the http interface of the firewall from the management interface. But I can not log in. I have used blank username and password, no username and enable password, blank username with enable password and a few other permutations. I then tried to connect to the asdm interface from inside also. But I can not connect. Needless to say, I have enabled http, and updated the http access-list. The only logging I have enabled is buffered. Is there any configuration that I am missing? Shall I cut and past the config?

The last time I logged on to the firewall was last week and I am the only person with access to it. I used a backup account to login and was able to, but on the menu bar the "Configuration" button is missing.

I am having two dc switches with FWSM modules installed. DC switch1 FWSM (Ver 3.2(12) is wokring as active and Secondary DC switch2 FWSM (ver 3.2.(12) is in standby mode.

I created the website with Dreamweaver software and uploaded it to fatcow via port 21.My internet connection was via xplornet and I had no access problems. I upgraded to xplornet's new g4 system and now I can no longer access my account online or upload to my website.We have two computers. The first is a desktop system that has the dreamweaver software. The second is a laptop which connects wirelessly. We share the signal through a dlink router. The modem is a viasat Surfbeam 2 residential satellite modem.1. When I attempt to login to the fatcow control panel, the tab shows successfully authenticated and then re-directs me back to the login page. This happens on both the laptop and the desktop.
I have tried bypassing the router and the problem still exists.I took the laptop to the computer center and I can login to the account no problem.I used a free proxy server page on the internet and can login from my home system on my desktop no problem.I have completely turned off virus scan and firewalls. It doesn't work. I have tried IE7, Chrome, Firefox and they all have the same problem. The laptop runs IE8 and has the same problem.I can ping the page successfully. I can traceroute the page successfully. I can't nslooup any site at all. When I attempt to upload via dreamweaver, I connect but within seconds I get a Dreamweaver message that says "Connection to remote host has been lost. Click refresh to continue" and the log reads "FTP Error. Dreamweaver could not connect to server." I haven't taken my desktop anywhere to try to see if it works on a different network. I'm in a remote location (hence the satellite internet)and it is an hours drive to the nearest private internet connection and a 2 hour drive to the nearest public connection.
We have a Linksys WRT120N wireless router set up at one of our small offices. I noticed recently when trying to log in to the router to make some admin configurations that it will not accept the login credentials when trying to log in from IE10 browser. We've a Cisco ASA 5505 connected directly to Verizon FiOS Circuit (ONT) box using Ethernet cable. As per the existing documention that I have, the previous configured this as a dedicated router to establish a seperate VPN connection our software provider. They assigned both Public Static and Local Static IP address. When I try to ping the public IP address, it says request time out; so the public IP address is no longer working.
When I ping the local IP address of 192.168.100.11, it responds. The SolarWind tool also shows Always UP signal. How can I login into this router either from remotely or locally to check the configuration, backup and do the fimrware upgrade?
I also tried to connect my laptop directly to the ASA 5505 router LAN port. After 3 minutes, I'm able to connect to Internet without any issues. However I don't know the IP address to use to login.

and below that:

There is a help button, a button to create an account. There is a place where I can enter an email address and a password.
Pressing the Help button I learned that I can probably bypass this silly screen by disconnecting the internet. Is there a better way to bypass this screen and turn off Cisco Connect Cloud?
I have an ASA 5510 in a live environment. Up til a short while ago I could access this via the ASDM and ssh. However I can no longer connect to it via eithier. When I access It via SSH I get a disclaimer saying the following
*** You have entered a restricted zone! Authorized access only!!! Disconnect immediately if you are not authorized user! ***
It then cuts me off.
When I try to access the ASDM I get the following
The firewall is running all its services without a problem and I can ping the device without any issues. Also none of the config (to my knpowledge has been changed). I set up a console session and http server enable is still there with
http 192.168.200.0 255.255.255.0 inside
I can login into the console just fine but if I try and login into the server via the web [URL] it tells me invalid username or password.
During setup I left the username default and set the password. Then it asked me for the password to login to the web but it never asked me the username to use. I have to set this up very soon.
We have a Cisco SF 300-08 here at work that cannot be used. The system lights are green and flashing. I looked into the manual and pressed the reset button for more than 10 seconds for a factory reset. The port lights lit up momentarily and then goes out. I used Putty and Tera Term with no luck. The screen is just blank; there's no boot up process.

i have 2960 Catalyst with LANLITE. And i cannot set "transport input ssh", it allows only telnet. I'm wondering if cisco lanlite switches have ssh input in newer releases of IOS or there is no way to make ssh input on this switch?Here's show ver output (i removed all serial and part numbers):

how can I import a public or private key in a router? For example, a Cisco 3560th I have found some conflicting answers @ cisco.com . Background, I would like to login with PUTTY via ssh on a Cisco Router but without username and password.The login should be made with RSA Keys. For this I need to deposit on the IOS device's the public key and on my Client the private key. For this I've already created with PuTTYGen the two keys. The private is in the ppk format. I still need to convert this into a different format? Since there are PEM and PKCS. Below you can see what times I have entered. View 3 Replies View RelatedI configured a new SG-200-08 with a static IP. I tried to save the configuration as the startup configuration. After 10 minutes, I restarted the switch. It didn't boot with the new configuration, and returned to the default .254 and default pw. Now I cannnot assign a new pw or get past the change the pw page. When I try to save a new pw, the switch reboots and prompts me to change from the default pw. I tried resetting the switch by depressing the reset button for a long time, but results are the same. LED indicators are green with a flashing green indicating the .254 address and a solid green on the port where the switch is connected to the computer. How can I reset the switch or get passed the change your pw page?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI'm crazy with this version of ACS, it is totally diferent than ACS 4.2, which is familiar for me and seems to difficult to config for me.Although I have red a lot of post about problems with the integration WCS 7.0 and ACS 5.2 using TACACs+ for admin or lobby access to the web portal I can't do login into WCS as Lobby ambassador using ACS 5.2 because always show me the error "User has no usergroups assigned".Steps I followed:
- I create a "shell profile" with the custom attributes of the group "lobby ambassador".
- In default device admin / authorization, I create a rule matching this "shell profile".
I see lot os Hit counts and passed in logs, but the message written previously.In ACS 4.2 I had to create the custom attribute "HTTP" and string "Wireless- WCS" to work with, but now I don't know if it is necessary and I don't know how to do it.
I have an ASA 5505 that is hosting a SSL VPN. The user can not login. They receive login error. To the best of their knowledge, this problem started after the office Domain Controller was rebuilt. I have looked on ASA and in AD and cannot seem to trace the issue.

I have two ACS 5.2 working in redundancy Primary and Secondary my question in when my primary ACS goes down i can´t see the log in the secondary ACS. I read in the documentación that only one ACS can be configurated for working like logg collector server. Now I configurated my secondary ACS like logg collector server now when my Primary ACS goes down i can see the logg. Finally when my Secondary ACS goes down i can modified the ACS Primary Configution by show me the logg..
