I'm running LMS 3.1 with CM 5.1.0 on a single Solaris 9 server. I've been unable to open topology services. I get an error "cannot connect to ANI server". I've confirmed that the ANIServer6.0 is running (it says "Running with busy flag set"). I've also tried restarting the Daemon Manager. What should I look at? Could it be a Java problem?

I am trying to get my ACL's to work, but when ever I do an extened acl and let certain one in (80,443,21,etc) my computer gets an internet error saying it cannot conntact the dns server. I've tried severl ways to fix it, but cannot seem to get it to work.
Right now i just have access-list 1 on. Eventually I would like to have only "Apple" and 101 on.

They came and installed a router and disconnected my old one. I then connected my new ISP router to my switch and now Im just stuck. At one point I was able to connect to my drives but was unable to connect to the internet. But once I call the ISP they had me change setting for Ipv4 changed defualt gateway, Ip address and DNS after that I was unable to reconnect to my drives. I've done full shut downs and restarts and nothing has worked. 1 of the computers connects to the server through wifi. I also run a VPN.

Unable to connect to DNS server/browse internet
We are having a network of 7 computers and a server (Ubuntu server). The problem is, two of them are not connecting to the network. When i check the network card of these two systems, it seems working (the green light is blinking). When i replace these systems with a laptop, it connecting to the network and there is not problem at all.

I have noticed that when my iPhone is connected to the RV220 wi-fi network, I get the message "The connection to the server failed" when checking my email. If I disable the wireless on my iPhone, it connects up to the exchange server perfectly fine so it must be a setting with the wireless somewhere but I cannot find it anywhere.....

For instance, I have a dyndns address of ericnewton76.dyndns.org. This points to my router. Works fine if you're NOT within the router's internal network, ie, outside hosts can get in just fine (try it... http:// , you'll see an IIS7 welcome screen)
However, when INSIDE the network, the requests don't get connected properly, and they used to... ie, I work with code, so my svn repo is at ericnewton76.dyndns.org/svn but inside my network it doesn't connect properly anymore (whereas it used to before firmware update)
So now I wish I could back-peddle to 1.0 firmware.

I recently purchased a tl-wr842nd, my printer is a hp laserjet 1020 and it is in the compatible list as I seen. The problem is that I connect the printer in the usb routers port and the led do not light up, I tried putting my pendrive to see if the usb routers port wasn't working but it does since the pendrive is accepted and online and the usb led lights.I downloaded and installed the latest firmware but there's no change, I did everything like it saids in the faq 415 where it explains how to install and use printer server with no luck.
I purchased the EA6500 a few days ago, and when I'm connected to Cisco Connect Cloud I am unable to select Folder Access / FTP Server / Media Server. I click them and nothing happens.Also, the Cisco light on the router keeps blinking.

View 18 Replies View RelatedApparently the problem seems simple enough however I couldn't get it working. My router is being configured to access a web server in the network which is on port 80. However, port 80 is being used by my router's setup page. Therefore whenever I key in my public IP address, it will just immediately direct me to the router's page.I have also tried opening up other ports like 5050 and set my web server to port 5050. Internally within the LAN itself everyone can access the web server with port 5050. However, going from public IP address with port 5050 doesn't work.

I have (2) other laptops and (1) other desktop connecting to the router with no issues. For some reason, this old desktop keeps installing an Ethernet device (probably on the MB) and is automatically Configuring the IP address to that instead of the USB wireless device.I've tried uninstalling the Ethernet device but it comes right back after I do a reboot. Even when I disable it, I still can not connect with my Wireless device.

Nothing. I've gone into my router settings and opening a port this way: But it still doesn't open it up. This is what I'm using to check it.In fact, NONE of the ports are open it seems? View 1 Replies View RelatedMy laptop is connected to a router via wifi but it keeps getting a DNS fault. I have another PC linked to the same router via WiFi and that works perfectly all the time. I have the same problem on both google chrome and IE browsers where I just get the message telling me that the DNS look up failed. My internet is still connected as I can dial into my remote CCTV cameras and I can ping website ip addresses. Most times I can just turn off my wireless adapter and turn it back on and it works for another hour or so. But sometimes it wont work all day, unless I start my laptop in safe mode, when it works everytime! I have flushed the DNS cache several times but to no avail.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI have a server with two adapters: 192.168.1.200 and 10.99.1.200, 10.99.1.200 connects to a cisco router 10.99.1.254 (which I have no access to). This connects via WAN to another network to transfer files to another company. 192.168.1.200 is connected to our local LAN. I have a service that uses FTP to get and send files to a server through 10.99.1.200. I recently had to switch our IP scheme from 10.99 to 192.168 and since then haven't been able to send files to the ftp server. My question is, would a router solve my problem? If so, would I; remove the 10.99 adapter, connect 192.168 to the router, connect the router to the switch, connect the 10.99 gateway to the new router (and update any appropriate routing tables on the server)? The service appears to have issues with using a dual homed server and updating it isn't going to happen anytime soon.

The Airport Extreme connects to a switch on the private network and has an IP address ending in .1. The Cisco 871 connects to the same Private network and it ends in .2. The 871 is setup as a VPN Server. now when clients connect to the VPN they can ping the VLan IP Address on the 871, but they can t ping any other hosts on the smae network. The hosts on the private network can ping the vlan on the 871.

I am using the Cisco VPN Client 5.0.06.0160 - and am having an issue connecting to my ASA 5510 via VPN. This issue is happening on 1 of our laptops. All other laptops connect just fine. So the problem is not in the ASA. I have double checked the client setup and config and it too is correct. The interesting thing is, we are connecting to an IP Address and not a host name.

We have a leased internet connection which is used on a number of different offices. The sbs-server has an IP address of 192.168.50.254 with a gateway Ip address of 192.168.50.1. The firewall on this network has an external IP of 10.50.0.37 with a gateway of 10.50.0.254 and this links to the leased line equipment. The external IP address for this network is 62.7.70.237. The PC in the warehouse has an IP address of 192.168.0.2 attached via a router to the leased line. The routers Ip address is 192.168.0.1, the external IP address is 10.50.0.55 and a gateway of 10.50.0.254. This links to the leased line and seems to have an external Ip address of 62.7.70.238. My issue is that I want the PC in the warehouse to be able to connect in some way to the SBS-Server. I cannot seem to access it via the external IP or the gateway (10.50.0.37).

The Folders are shared on the network the shared folders were working fine but suddenly i was unable to access these folders .I tried to Map the network drives by IP address that is ""\ipaddressshare""of the NAS server but was unable to do so. It Gave me an error message ""No Logon Servers are currently available"" . But when i put my server Name that is ""\servernameshare "" i am able to map the folders.
