We have an SLM248G switch which seems to be giving a few problems. When attempting to access the switch, the admin page loads but after logging-in, the admin portal page does not load fully, see screenshot.
Even after a factory reset (reset button held), the issue continues. Is there any other workaround for completely resetting everything?
It's' my first router (E 2500) one desk top and two laptop and also a Ipad connected, every thing look fine exept for the Ipad.Lots of page not fully loading, I have to reload couples of time to get it full load. and lots of Youtube video said not presently availale but work fine with laptop or desktop.Did not change any seting on the router, I just plug it and used it
I have two wireless repeaters and can no longer access their set-up / admin page via default IP 192.168.10.1,I don't know the brand of the repeaters, which are commonly sold on eBay. Here's one example: eBay Item # 300829809133, They work well as repeaters, but it's frustrating that I can no longer access their set-up / admin page via default IP 192.168.10.1. Right now I have only one repeater plugged in and connected to my laptop via ethernet cable. The 2nd repeater is unplugged. The Wifi on my laptop is switched off and disabled, so I'm actually connected to the Internet via my laptop's ethernet port via ethernet cable to the repeater's ethernet port, then via wifi signal from the repeater to my Zyxel wireless router and Comcast cable modem. If I'm connected to the Internet via the repeater, why can't I access the repeater's set-up / admin page using default IP 192.168.10.1? When I enter http://192.168.10.1/ into Internet Explorer, I get only the error message "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage"
My computer (running windows XP and connected to the internet with a D Link USB adapter) refuses to load any webpages: despite showing full signal strength and connection in both the D Link settings and the windows XP wireless panel.I am able to ping websites and other computers in the house (all of which are able to access the internet) but no pages load in any browser I try.
I'm using a RV082 and have about a dozen users on my network.Occasionally, when a user is accesssing a website like yahoo.com, twitter.com, cnn .com, etc, the web page only loads half way. Most often the page is missing stylesheets and/or images. Called Cisco support and they adjusted the MTU size to 1492 from 1500.Have a looked at the bandwidth report from my ISP and it shows nothing out of the ordinary, no spikes or surges in d/u. Have set LAN port to high priority, 100 Mbps, full duplex.. Seeing an error count around 327282.. which I don't understand. Why sites only partially load using this router?
let me know the exact meaning of attach ( yellow marked one)? the contractor was saying "it doesn't mean two switches as there is a built in redundancy in Cisco switch)"I don't think he is correct as I never heard about built in redundancy in Cisco Router/switchAny comment as this will affect the numbers from 55 (3750 v2) to 110....
I followed this simple procedure to turn my DIR-655 into an access point: url...and it all worked except when I go to url... (which is where I left the router's IP address set) I don't get the DIR-655's admin login GUI, just a timeout. Since my main Linksys router is on 192.168.1.1, and my cable modem is at 192.168.100.1, and the DHCP addresses handed out by the Linksys router is from 192.168.1.100 to 192.168.1.149, getting to 192.168.0.1 should not be a problem. Functionally, the DIR-655 makes a great access point, wired and wireless are working very well, and I don't see any reason why I can't get to the web GUI admin page.I should be able to get to the DIR-655 router via the WAN port, as suggested in the procedure above, but I'd really really like to be able to get to it without having to connect a cable to the DIR-655 WAN port.
Moved into a new place, set up a connection. Server provider gives only one mac address, they set it on my router. They say that it should be working, make a restart and that's it. I did that but still no connection. Moreover, I cannot connect through the router at all and therefore cannot access router admin page to configure it either. Now what to do? Password for the router is correct. Even when I take down all the security, still I cannot connect. To be more specific, at first I could enter the router admin page, but since I didn't know how to configure it properly, I made some mistake. I think I choose setting "configure wireless network" and changed something there. After that I cannot access the admin page or connect through the router.
I have a binatone wi-fi modem. Internet is working good from router but i am not able to connect to router admin page i.e 192.168.1.1 and not be able to change wi-fi password.
I'm plug with my laptop on the DLINK, no internet connexion available, and it's impossible to connect to 192.168.0.1 ..What am i suppose to do, i need to configure a static ip and specifics dns to get to the internet, and it seems that without internet i can't acces to 192.168.0.1 ...
Is there a way to put a login banner on the ACS admin web page? Either display it directly on the web page or do a redirect to a banner page? Can I edit the admin pages directly or does ACS provide a mechanism to add this type of feature?
I'm having trouble setting up my WAP 4410n. I can connect to it wirelessly, I can ping it, but somehow when I try to connect to the admin intervace (in my case 192.168.1.36) I get the following error message:
"The connection was reset. The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading"
My I shut down my firewall, restarted my router, removed cookies and cleaned cache, but that's as far as my knowledge goes.
How to access the admin page of the RV220W from an iPad wih the default security certificate? If so, what steps did you go through? Or is this only possible when purchasing a certificate?
I was doing some changes in baitone router due to mistake i have disabled something in it.Now i am not able to access its admin page....Before it i was accessing through 192.168.1.1
I have this problem since updating my firmware from 1.00.12 to 1.0016 (Annex A)
Problem: After leaving the router on for 1 day(dont know exactly how many hours), I tried logging in again on the admin page 192.168.1.1. Auth box appears, put username & password, but blank page after that. Tried using Safari/Firefox and it's the same. Router is working, all the LED lights are good, Internet is working, DHCP and all other config is normal. It's just that I can't access the admin page anymore.
When I power on/off the device, the problem is gone. Admin page is accessible again. But after some number of hours again, same problem blank admin page.
Does it has something to do with the router config like g.dmt/dsl 2 ?
I moved. Runnig an iMac at home. Can connect to the internet but was not able to access my cisco admin page for 54G V5. Also need to connect VPN but unable to.
Motorola wr850gp wireless router. The default ip is 192.168.10.1. I attempted to use it as a wireless access point and now it is not working at all. I tried connecting the router LAN port to the computer and 192.168.10.1 pulls up nothing.I tried connecting the modem to the WAN port and the LAN port of the router to the PC, but then I have no internet access at all. I tried resetting the router, still nothingAll lights on the router are green. I don't know what the heck is going on?
For about a month or two now, I've not been able to connect to my router's admin page @ 192.168.1.1 I am using a D-Link DSL-2680 router.
Whenever I go to connect to 192.168.1.1 in my Web Browser, it just sits there trying to connect and does nothing. But eventually after some minutes I get the error: 'This web page is not available The web page at http://192.168.1.1/ might be temporarily down or it may have moved permanently to a new web address. Error 101 (net::ERR_CONNECTION_RESET): Unknown error.' Here is a screenshot:
I tried pressing the reset button on the back of my router, but it would just sit there with the green power LED and another green LED just flashing constantly (I assume this is the ethernet 1 cable LED) and this happens for more than 10 minutes.
All I want to do is just port forward my game servers again without the use of Hamachi or other programs
I don't have to completely reset my router as I have a ton of configs on it. Anyway, recently for some reason, I lost all access to my admin page. Cisco Connect also cannot find the router. Funny thing is that all of my wireless profiles work just fine. Meaning all of the computers in my home connect to the internet just fine using the router. Both the guest access and WPA connected machines.[url]...
I recently tried to edit settings on my E3200 and was unable to get to the page. I typed in 192.168.1.1 in the address bar, made sure no proxies were enabled and tried on wired and wireless computers and all the times it said "page could not be displayed" i haven't not reset with the button on the back. I also did an map scan of the router and this is what came up
Interesting ports on 192.168.1.1: Not shown: 65531 closed ports PORT STATE SERVICE 139/tcp open netbios-ssn 443/tcp open https 445/tcp open microsoft-ds 1780/tcp open unknown
I recently replaced my RV042 with an RV042G. I did an export of the RV042 Config and used the Config Migration Tool to upgrade the file to v3 (I had an old v1 RV042). When I first logged in to the RV042G it was quite happy and I imported the config file successfully. After installing the RV042G in my system it fired up and worked perfectly. Unfortunately when I now try to log in via the web interface it comes up with 'Invalid Site Certificate' each time. I've tried importing the certificate but that does not work as it is flagged as invalid. All I can assume is I have either imported the origional RV042 certificate as part of the config or importing the config has corrupted the original RV042G site certificate. I assume this is a generic issue and not specific to the RV042G as I have had this problem before but cannot remember how I solved it.The bottom line would be a hard reset and load all my settings manually but I can't spare the time just now.
I have been through three chat sessions on this without resolution and support tells me just to factory reset. After some time (weeks) after a successful local login to the admin page subsequent attempt to login just hang. After entering the admin password the page changes and says "Waiting" under revolving circles. It will sit there for over 1 hour. I have tried IE, chrome and firefox on Windows 7 and Windows 8 on three different machines and it behaves the same. Of course I have to go through this same process with the support people every time and every time they come to the conclusion that I have to do a factory reset. But so far Linksys denies that there is a defect.
I have set up a second E4200 as an AP.Even though I’m getting a signal from it I can’t open the ADMIN page. Also, it’s NOT showing up on my main 4200 "DHCP client table'.I configured it as a static IP 192.168.1.145 during setup and still cannot get in. My ping to .145 comes back “timeout”!Since I’m getting a full signal from it, it must be working so why can’t I get in and why doesn't it show up?

I have a question regarding the admin page on the router. Default it seems to accept only http access and I cannot find the option to switch this to ssl over https. Now the admin password goes across the WLAN in clear text which is not secure and not what I want. Is there any way to change the setting so the page is only accessible through https?
I have a BEFSR41 V2 working as dial in ADSL connection. While I changed my settings of the UPnP in the router I lost access to the admin page. Well most strange is that everything is working.I kept my internet access as well as the computer and printer access. The only thing I lost is access to the router admin page. The password it was not defaulted to admin, neither kept the password that I had set up.
We are running an instance of LMS4.0.1 on a Windows 2008 Server installation that is managing circa 2k devices. A couple of weeks ago we run into disk usage problems as a result of log files not being rotated properly - this issue has been fully resolved.
Since then, we have been unable to restart our DCRServer and this is becoming a real issue for us.
The output of a pshow DCRServer is below ...
C:Usersmodonovan>pdshow DCRServer Process= DCRServer State = Waiting to initialize.
[Code].....
Continuously the State will be "Waiting to initialize". Several restarts of the daemon and the server itself have made no difference.
I'm using my 655 as a WAP, so nothing is connected to the WAN port. Since I run a SBS2008 in my home, I also have the 655's DHCP disabled. If I enable Network Filtering, everything inbound/outbound on the LAN ports works except accessing the Admin page. Even if I put the connecting PC's LAN MAC in the tablet.
I am trying to log into my WRT610N version 2.0 Router admin page 192.168.1.1 using the secure HTTPS://192.168.1.1 protocol I have the router local management setting to allow both http and https access login:192.168.1.1/Management.asp I am using Microsoft IE version 10 and Firefox version 19.02 and latest Chrome browsers and none of them will work using the HTTPS protocol. This used to work in the past using older versions of the browsers though I would see a certicificate error warning.I have 2.00.01 build 15 firmware installed and I already tried reseting the router. Perhaps the router needs new firmware update to handle this with the latest browsers?
My internet at times fails to work. I will be browsing and webpages will fail to load until I wait 30sec or so and refresh the page a few times. This happens every 3ish minutes. However, I am still connected to wi-fi according to my computer and there is still internet access (at least it says). I can also disconnect from wi-fi and reconnect and the problem goes away momentarily.
I know this happens on Chrome and IE, so it is not the browser. And, the internet is just find on other computers at my house so I do not believe it is the router.
My grandma is trying to get on her IE. She is connected to the internet, but when she opens IE it says "connecting to home page" but nothing will load... it just keeps showing its connecting but never connects.
She has re started her computer, unplugged everything and reset the internet modem, but has no such luck
Netgear ProSafe Gigabit Router is my DHCP Server -- The entire home net work is on the same subnet (192.168.15.xxx) Linksys E4200 configured as an access point ONLY -- wired connection -- static IP assigned -- DHCP server turned off Linksys WRT610N configured as an access point ONLY -- wired connection -- static IP assigned -- DHCP server turned off
3 -- 5 port gigabit switches 1 -- 8 port gigabit switch
No more than two switches between any two wired devices Both Linksys access points have the same SSID and WPA2 security phrase -- total of 4 radios Nonoverlapping channels are selected on both the 2.4Ghz and 5.0Ghz radio to minimize interference All computers are running Windows 7 Professional 64bit with all the latest updates Two iPhones and one iPad also access the network All LAN and WAN connectivity is working as designed?
Problem:
guest SSID is turned on
password is established
All devices will connect to the guest SSID and the E4200 is assigning an ip address to the device in the 192.168.33.xxx range which is what it's supposed to do.When I open a web browser, I am not automatically redirected to the Cisco Login Page. If I enter 192.168.33.1 as the URL, the login screen is presented. I enter the password I have created in the guest admin page on the wireless guest tab. I then see a blank page and a URL of 192.168.33.1/guestnetwork.asp. THIS IS WHERE I GET STUCK. THE ONLY WAY TO EVER SEE THE LOGIN PAGE AGAIN IS TO REBOOT THE E4200, otherwise you just get unable to connect messages when opening web browsers and the wireless status icon in the system tray shows a yellow exclamation mark.
I successfully connect to the guest SSID but I do not get access to the internet. When I type ipconfig, I see that the DNS is set to 192.168.33.1 which does not exist on my network. I assume there's some internal NAT magic that is supposed to happen in the E4200 to bridge me over to my 192.168.15.xxx network but it doesn't seem to be happening. At the beginning of the call I specifically asked them if the E4200 must be the DHCP server in order for the guest SSID feature to work and they said no. 1.5 hours later they had no answers so they told me that it wasn't working because the E4200 was not the DHCP server. The documentation says nothing about a DHCP requirement for guest AP service. Linksys support further could not answer what you would do if you needed more than one AP with guest service enabled. It seems like this is a firmware issue but it may be the guest SSID service requires the E4200 to also act as the DHCP server. Whether this is a bug or if the router/AP is working as designed?
I've done a lot of ACE work over the years but this is the first time this has ever come up.
I have a request from an application group where I have 3 rserver in the server farm but they want all traffic to only go to the first server unless that server fails. If the first server fails, only then do they want traffic to go to the 2nd server instead and if that fails, then traffic goes to the 3rd.
I've read through the documentation but haven't figured out a way to do this. What to do this type of failover configuration?
