I am having an issue with my Cisco VPN Client. I am new to VPN setup, so this is probably something easy I am missing. I have a 2611XM router acting as my internet gateway for my local lan, and my VPN Server. I am doing all my testing from a company laptop with a mobile broadband card. The VPN will connect, but anytime I ping anything within the inside network, it comes back with the public IP of the outside interface. I have NAT overload configured so everything on the inside network can access the internet, which it looks like might be causing my problem.
When i remove the nat overload on my fa0/1 interface, the vpn will connect to any resource on the inside.
I've set up a simple lab network of two cisco routers 2611XM and to each router I've attached a computer (host). I have set up a dhcp ip addresses for each host. I've set up a correct routing as well on each router. There are 3 networks: 192.168.1.0/24 192.168.2.0/24 192.168.3.0/24 The first network between the first host and first router, second is between two routers and third is between the second router and second host. If I use first host (192.168.1.20) I can ping to any ip address (192.168.1.1 (router 1), 192.168.2.1 (router 1), 192.168.2.2 (router 2), 192.168.3.1 (router 2)) except the second host ip address which is 192.168.3.20. When I sit on the second host (192.168.3.20) i can ping to 192.168.1.1 (router 1), 192.168.2.1 (router 1), 192.168.2.2 (router 2), 192.168.3.1 (router 2) but i can't ping to the first host which is 192.168.1.20. I've even tried with attaching a switch to a router and assign it an ip address of 192.168.1.3 and the ping was echoing to it.

My VPN tunnel comes up but I am unable to ping between remote hosts. I used the ASDM and SDM for the configuration. Attached is a copy of both configs.
View 8 Replies View RelatedI have a Cisco 2611XM (MPC860P) that i use at home, purchased it when i enrolled in my CCNA certification.
It never occured to me that i had an issue with this router. I have 10Mbps uplink at home, and sometimes its really slow, when i talked to my ISP, we did a lot of troubleshooting to see why we had high latency, but as it turns out, the issue is My Router.
I only have a few machines inside my local LAN so i never even thought this could happen. When i download a file using the 10Mb/s connection, the CPU load goes in less than 1 minute to 99%.
I thought it might be the IOS version of it, and upgraded it to a newer version, with the same results. Here is an output of it:

I have an issue with Cisco 3560V2-24-PS which it indicates not supported in DFM. I can see the device working properly when I do snmpwalk and snmv3 test and device credential test. In fact I can see chassis view of this device.

But in LMS 3.2 supported device it indicates as supported. Current version of the switch is 12.2(58)SE2 which is higher than the minimum requirement 12.2(50)SE1. I tried to downgrade/upgrade IOS and still no luck.

View 1 Replies View RelatedAfter upgrading to 7.2 on my 5508 WCS, the 1310 APs will no longer join. After a call to TAC they said the 1300 and 1400 APs are no longer supported on WCS. Is there any plan to add them back as supported in future releases?I was thinking I could downgrade my backup 5508 and change the APs to autonomous. Or is there some easier way to make them autonomous?
Also, as a low cost outdoor AP, I guess I am reduced to putting 1262s in a NEMA box with outdoor antennas. The 1552s are way too expensive for the quantity I need. Is there some other inexpensive outdoor AP that will replace 1300-1400 series?
Recently I purchased AIR-WLC2112-K9, but when I logged in I saw that system shows only 6 APs supported (I made print screen in addition). I'm running IOS v. 7.0.116.0 and I saw that there was some problems with earlier versions of IOS, but not this one.

View 13 Replies View RelatedI have a pair of physical ASR 1002 routers, called ASR-1 and ASR-2. I setup HSRP on both ASR-1 and ASR-2 on both g0/0/0 and g0/0/1 interfaces, nothing complicated, just straight forward HSRP.
Now Cisco TAC told me that HSRP is NOT supported between physical ASR routers. WTF!
Furthermore, they told me that HSRP only supported within a single ASR because of multiple routed processors. In other words, you can setup HSRP with a single physical ASR but not with two physical ASR routers.
HSRP can not supported with two physical ASR routers?

Can a 2504 wlc use a vlan ids of 190X? I have found that it supports 512 vlans but I have not found any restrictions in the id used.Vlan id 190X is distributed by the isp (they have the ASAs in their central site) so if it is not supported I must prepare a vlan transfer between switches.
