What is the reason of following NTP error. I am unable to configure further ntp peers on the router. Could not able to understand the reason of 100 peers. I am adding only 2nd peer on the router but getting this error. There is no problem adding peers in other 6500s .

The different providers that we use all have different internet transit CDRs. Is there a way that I can configure a priority for the 3 BGP peers on our routers so that outbound traffic to the internet is sent to the BGP peer from the provider with the highest CDR?

Now the problem: My pc that is directly connected with lan to my wifi router has acces to the internet. However when i try to configure the wifi router by going to its ip (192.168.0.1) im getting "The webpage unavailable" error. And i am also able to connect to my dsl modem(192.168.0.2) The reason i want to configure my wifi modem is the fact that for some reason only 1 wifi device at a time seems to be able to have acces to WAN.
i have a ZyXel prestige 650H-31 Model # router and i'm not able to go on to configuration page of the router i tried 192.168.1.1 several times, even after system reboot and router reset, but of no use. I've a wire connection with desktop (RJ-45 port) not USB AND MY PPPoE lights never lit. originally when i entered the gateway 192.168.1.1 it asked me for username & password, since i didn't have the password at that time i tried to reset the router but after that when ever i entered 192.168.1.1 in the browser it never came up with the option to enter user name & password. I've checked all the wires are also connected. I tried prompt command and it showed that timed out thrice and then sent= 4 received= 0 lost= 100%. I had D-Link router prior to it and later connected the D-Link router an i was able to get connected to net and browse normally.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI just picked up an e3000 last night. Set up was performed manually. Flashed to 1.0.04. No issues and I was up in under 10 min.Although I read the user guide, prior to purchase, I admit I did not expect that I would not be able to configure ALL of the router's features and functions from the web based configuration, without using the CISCO Connect CD.Parental Controls and GUEST Access cannot be configured unless you load the Cisco Connect software.While this is not a huge deal, this implementation is clumsy and cumbersome for advanced users. Honestly, I had no disire to install the Cisco Connect software. I was further disappointed to see that it stores the router's password.
My feeling here, let's not ruin a great thing. There are two types of users. One's who need a configuration wizard, and other's who don't. I guess some inroads are being made in the right direction as some GUEST access functions can be made in the web gui on the e4200. I hope this can be further expanded to all "e" series routers in the future. Overall, it works as advertised. Streaming 720p HD video over wireless 2.4Ghz band G only is flawless. This is no different than my wrt54g2, but I'm upgrading to a 1080p player and have read that N on the 5Ghz band is the way to go.

Setup is the following.
Cisco Catalyst 6509 with Sup720-10GE IOS 12.2(33)SHX7. There are around 30 L3 vlans configured on the switch. I'm only interested for the traffic on one L3 vlan which is the connection to wan cloud.
I wanna see only the traffic that goes to and come from the wan. On other Catalyst where I have routed interfaces i successfully configured netflow. I read a lot in the forums and documentations but i didn't find the right one.

We currently have RIP2 running between and the switchs and each 4500 is managing its own VLANs.The IPTV uses IGMP snooping and multicasting to broadcast the video feed. The problem that came up is that the we cannot configure a gatewar for the setup boxs for the IPTV system. They will only work on a single VLAN and they are spread all over the network.Can we configure only this VLAN to be propagated over our RIP network???

We are regularly seeing the error above on our cat6500 devices when executing a 'sh run ' command:
We've seen this error for quite some time but the frequency seems to be increasing up to the point where it becomes problematic now because backups and other automated actions are failing regularly.
We don't see multiple processes with the commando "sh config lock" at that time. But when we do a "sh users", we can see sometimes multiple users.
I supose it is possible for multiple users to do a logon at the same time, but not make changes at the same time.
We are using IOS s72033-ipservicesk9_wan-mz.122-33.SXI7.bin. It seems that all switches with these IOSses seem to have the problem. But in the bug toolkit I can't find any reference to a bug...

I'm unable to configure my Data Card (ZTE-AC8700). I tried with manual settings but it keeps on showing the message "connecting" but doesn't connects although my datacard is shown as identified by the device MR-3020. I'm using BSNL EVDO connection and my datacard is ZTE-AC8700. It doesn't uses any APN, only a username and password and dial number "#777" is required to connect. configuring my datacard with MR3020 ???

But the spokes will actualy be on one single ASA firewall, each spoke on a different interface. One hub-spoke will be primary, the other one the secondary. When the WAN link for the primary VPN fails the secondary should be started on the hub to the other spoke.

I think that is necessary to configure the connection between the firewall and switch as layer 3 ( a port with IP address in the switch), but I would like to know why? The switch is configured with about 10 vlan and it is a inter vlan routing, a default route is configured in the switch where the gateway is the firewall.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI have a Cisco ASA 5505 which is setup as an EasyVPN client to e remote VPN concentrator.
The Cisco ASA has the 50 internal user license with 10 VPN peers.
We just upgraded the license from the base 10 internal user to 50 user license but it has not resolved the problem and only 10 internal users still work, the 11th fails.
Does each EasyVPN client on the inside network take up 1 of the 10 VPN peer licences?
This seems to be the issue from what I can see, just need confirmation.
I am trying to get a 2811 to accept two IPSec peers however can only get one working at a time. I have setup fa0/0 and fa0/1 with their own public facing IP addresses with crypto maps associated to each interface however can only establish connectivity to one interface at any one time.

What consequences could i have if i install a WiSM-2 module into a pair of 6500 configured in VSS and another WiSM-2 module into other pair of 6500 configured in VSS for serving a 300 APs??...in this case, do i need to configure mobility groups for guarantee a high availability and also redundancy of controllers?Under the best practices, is much better having the two WiSM-2 modules into a single pair of 6500 configured in VSS??
