I have installed the Phone Remote software [URL] on the torch and playbook but am not able to pair them together.The FAQ's and directions have been followed painstakingly but have not any success. My router is knowledge is basic but read through the manual and have been searching the net for answers. I have uPNP enabled and no firewall.

firmware v.2.21 working well with laptop for 5 years. unable to connect b/b rim playbook last week. tried a couple of sessions with dlink tech support. turned off all other 2.4 ghz devices. would firmware upgrade 3.13 fix this issue?

For some weeks I have been trying to pair my Samsung Galaxy S2 with my Lenovo Thankpad SL500. The consistent message is "Unable to pair with [laptop]. Incorrect PIN or PASSWORD.
Well which is? PIN? or PASSWORD? - or does the system not know, so it's taking a guess? If it doesn't know, how can I possibly know?
Having read many articles about his on the www, I am still none the wiser as to what is causing this. What's wrong with the PIN or PASSWORD - is it too hot, or too cold? Wrong font face, colour or size? Wrong latitiude, longitude or elevation? Wrong time of day or month? Are the auspices in general not favourable? Am I facing in the wrong direction as I type? Have I chosen the wrong weight/color of paper for my printer? Is my body odor unacceptable? Is the length of grass in my lawn not quite right? Oh, the number of options is so large - where does one start?
Oh, and before I forget - assuming I can find what constitutes a correct PIN or PASSWORD, where does one set it? btw pairing this phone with the media player in my 10 year old car works immediately and flawlessly!

I am facing some issue in LAN network.I have connected one desktop( win 7) and another desktop (win xp) to the TP link router. Both the computers got ip address and able to share the internet. But both the computers are not in the same network. That is they cant PING each other. hence they are not visible to each other.
iam having two PC's which are not connected through LAN. in our office we are having a private telephone network and both the locations are connected with this telephone network (MAX) connection. We have a pair of N7K distribution switches connected to a pair of N7K Aggregation switches.We run vPC on both pairs of n7k's.
-n7k-d1 has two interfaces in a Port-Channel connecting to n7k-a1 & n7k-a2. (PC1)
-n7k-d2 also has two interfaces in a Port-Channel connecting to n7k-a1 & n7k-a2. (PC2)
My problem is that Spanning-Tree is blocking PC2 and all traffic from n7k-d2 is traversing the Peer-Link before reaching the Aggregation layer. Is this the best design for connecting two pairs of n7k's with vPC or if a better design would be to connect all 4 links into the same Port-Channel and vPC?

We have an RVS4000 router at two ends of a VPN tunnel. The VPN tunnel is working fine, however a phone at the remote site drops calls, even though they sound clear and unblemished. I have set highest priority on the port the phone is hooked up to at the remote site, and have set a priority for upload traffic on both routers, but the phone stills drops calls after 2 to 3 minutes.

It worked for some times with an intermittent disconnection problem due to the iPhone locking. But even after unlocking the phone and reconnecting the Wi-Fi, Remote couldn't find my iTunes library again and my only workaround was to relaunch iTunes on the PC (which is Ethernet-wired to my router). Few days ago nothing worked!!! I could no more get Remote to find iTunes.
I could not find a solution even by rebooting the router or unplugging the PC's Ethernet cable. Last night I powered off the router and after 10s I powered it on again. And then it worked!I highly suspect a problem between my router and Bonjour which is as UPnP, an Apple protocol for discovering communicating devices. Discovery phase being usually done with broadcast frames, something goes wrong in the router with processing the broadcasts, or is it a Bonjour problem?Please note that even now that Remote can find iTunes, I still have my old intermittent disconnection problem.So is there any incompatibility between WRT-610N and Bonjour and what is the fix ?

Today 14 fév 2013 they don't have any date on when Anyconnect for Blackberry will be available. So we cannot use a Z10 because exchange server is beind the ASA. Protected with the ASA. View 2 Replies View RelatedI have an Avaya IP Phone for work. This has been tested at work and works as expected. After the IP Phone boots it's able to obtain an IP address from work. At home when I plug the IP phone into my DIR-655 router, it's unable to obtain an IP address. Other network devices are able to obtain an IP address, for example any computer or laptop. Also my wireless works with no issues expect for the IP phone. I've already done some searching and found other users with the same issue but I haven't been able to find a solution other than setting a static IP address. I'm curious why this relatively new router won't work with an IP phone. I've played with some of the router settings but it didn't make a difference. Any work around to get the DHCP to work? I'm running the latest firmware for my router: 1.35A Hardware Versions: A4.

Now that I have bought a new smart phone, I want to use this wifi with my phone as well. I have a Sony Xperia Neo mobile phone. When I entered the password in phone it said limited connectivity and was not allowing to open the webpages. So what I did was took all the settings of the Wifi like IP address, subnet mask, default gateway, dns 1 and dns 2, manually entered all these in the advanced setting. Now the phone is saying you are connected to the Wifi, But I am not able to open any webpages.

I have a couple of Droid Incredibles, and when I use them connected to my Wi-Fi (even tho I have unlimited data, the cell signal strength is not that high in my home -- I'd rather use the Wi-Fi) they'll run for 10-15 minutes, then hit a brick wall. Internet traffic stops, for all devices conected. ROuter has to be re-booted.url...but I also read some where in this forum that simply disabling AES would work.
