I get this message in response to clicking on "Diagnose Connection Problems" which was returned to me in I.E. 9 after visiting yahoo.com, other sites and most interestingly, even after trying to get to my DIR-825 at IP address 192.68.0.1. The only common element here is the DIR-825 so I suspect there may be some kind of misconfiguration in the device. The only way that I have been able to clear this condition is to reboot or repower my DIR-825.
I cannot connect to the internet when I try it says "The remote device or resource wont accept the connection" It has been doing this for about 8 days... Sometimes It will connect the Internet explorer... But the past 2 days I CANNOT!
Computer was running fine, then I lost internet connection, ran troubleshooting report, it says the remote device or resource wont accept the connection. Nortons antivirus expired a week ago, tried to resubscribe in case i had a virus, but cant subscribe cause it wont pick up wireless. Have the broadband plugged straight into laptop and still nothing?
I installed a CISCO ASA5505 with 50 user license to my network as the gateway firewall. So ASA is acting as the gaeway router which is connected to a fibre circuit and also it gives DHCP to the network. The strange thing is that except for two computers rest does not have internet. I also have an asterisk phone system which works fine..
I tried everything.... static IP's DHCP, DNS nothing worked. But strange enough two computers works fine and have internet.. but are no special computers. One is Win XP and the other one is Win7. When I troubleshoot the problem in win 7 on one of the computers it says
"The remote device or resource won't accept the connection"

Am trying to use a TP-Link TL-WR702N to connect my Samsung SmartTV to a wireless network, using "client mode".For some reason, the TV refuses to accept it is connected, or even connected to a router. Enabling DHCP on the TP-Link does seem to convince the TV that it is connected to a router, but still not to the internet. Strangely though, I can control the TV via the Android app operating on the local network, so clearly it is connected. I assume the SmartTV is trying to get a response on the local network that the TP-Link is filtering out for some reason, but no idea why.
Is it possible to configure a Westell 6200 DSL modem to accept access via a remote PC? I have a security camera that can be viewed via remote computer access, but I cannot configure my modem to accept a remote access.
Both the integrated wireless adapter in my PC and a USB adapter work fine and conect automatically to my D-Link DIR-615 router. I have the integrated adapter disabled in the control panel. Just bought a D-Link DWA-140 Rangebooster N wireless adapter. This finds all the networks my older USN adapter finds but at greater strength. When I click on connect to my own network I get the enter network key box. I enter the correct key, but get an error message telling it's incorrect. I revert to the older adapter or enable the integrated adapter and I get connected automatically.
I am currently on fw 1.33NA and it works fine just want to update so it works better I've tried the reset to factory and unplugged the internet port and ive tried fw 2.0NA and 2.10NA
I just purchased a DAP-1522. The sticker on the bottom says it's a version B1, with firmware 2.0.In the web interface, it says: "Firmware Version : 1.21 , Fri 26 Jun 2009"I downloaded the 2.01 firmware from the D-Link site and when I try to upload it, it says it's not an image file.
After I change my router, I recently found out that I cannot access remote network resources after VPN tunnel is established. I use CISCO System VPN client. I can see the connection is successful. I cannot ping server on the remote network

I recently bought this modem for use at home. When I try to log in to my computer at work I am able to log in to the server via a VPN connection but not onto individual computers via Remote Desktop Connection. Both computers run windows 7.
I have been working on this problem for the last few day and have know idea why its not working but my d link Dir-615 will not work with my qwest q100 modem.
Have hooked up a DIR-825 to an iMac and it works well on 2.4GHz band. Having issues seeing 5GHz band as it comes and goes. Just today bought a DWA-160 USB adapter hoping it would connect the kid's PS3 to the 5GHz band but the PS3 wont accept or recognize either the DWA-160 or the 5GHz band.
Can't find any solutions in the manuals.Desperate for a fix as the wife and I want to be able to work on the 2.4GHz without being constantly kicked off by the kids on the PS3.
Router does not accept any email address that start with a number. For example, if you want to set email address 1abcd@efg.com in the from field you will receive the following error: The given FROM address (1abcd@efg.com) is invalid. Same error if you use it in the to field.HW ver. A4 running firmware 1.35NA.

I was configuring a device for one of our customers, but when I was setting up the MR3040's internet connection settings things went haywire.there's only a default selection for two of my country's providers. No biggy you'd think.
When I plug in the power cord to my EA6500 all the LED's on the back, and the white Cisco on the front come on solid, then the lights on the back go out and the white Cisco light starts blinking faster than every second. I can't get it to stop blinking no matter what I've tried so far.
It won't let me connect to it at all. I've tried everything I can think of, and have tried almost everything I could find in Troubleshooting in Cisco Community. The Linksys Smart Wi Fi Router setup says "We could not find your router."
I've also tried using the red Reset button and the light never stops flashing. I've tried pushing the button quickly, holding it down for ten seconds, and holding it down for more than 30 seconds, but the light continues to blink. I've also unplugged it and waited more than 10 seconds, but nothing seems to work.
I have a new iPad and a new WAG160N. I've wasted many hours trying to get them to recognize each other, with no success.I can connect to the Internet OK but I can't get a connection to the Pad, as it won't accept my password. I can't find a solution here that I can follow for this model. Why won't my password (no unusual symbols, just 10 letters and numbers) be accepted?
i have been living in China for some time and bought a DIR-600M router from DLINK while I was there. While a friend configured it for me and everything was fine, i would love to have an english version of the firmware.... i have searched everywhere but couldnt find any english version for this particular model..I have tried to download and install the American version of the 600 model, but it seems as it does not accept this version as it always jumps back to the chinese version after rebooting....
I'm running a Winsock server on my machine, and I want to be able to connect a client (on an external/remote) network. I know that there are two IP addresses: The WAN IP which is what your IP address looks like while connecting to the internet. There is also an IP address assigned to you by your router. If both machines are on the same network, then I am able to make the client connect to the server by providing the Router-IP. But when they are on different networks, they do not connect even when i give the WAN IP. How exactly do I specify an address for a remote device ?
On wireless (lenovo tabletx61) I cannot connect through the intranet - no problem connecting through internet. When I manage to connect through intranet connection is dropped quite often. No problem connecting via Ethernet cables.
I have a 2911 router where I was configuring the device to allow remote desktops connections. Everything is working properly, but for some reason my ACL has disappeared.
I'm working with a 1113 ACS device running the 4.2.0.124 software. I'm trying to get multiple network device groups to use an existing Remote Agent set up for authentication against our Windows domain. For instance, we want our infrastructure switches to authenticate agains the local Active Directory and our WLC to authenticate users agains the same Active Directory. When I try and set both network device groups to use the same remote agent, it fails and reports either the host name is already in use or the IP address overlaps with an existing remote agent.
The question is:
Can I have multiple network device groups use the same remote agent? Or do I have to install the remote agent software on separate Windows servers in order to have different types of devices authenticate against the Windows AD?
I have a DIR-655 Rev B, in a typical cascaded config: modem > dir-555 > switches & devices, etc.One of the four dir-655 ports is connected to a cheap-o Belink Wifi router which I use as an access point (I only use this because there's one device that only supports WEP). I was debugging a WiFi issue and I pulled the plug on this Belkin just to get it out of the picture. Well, when I did that, EVERYTHING that was connected through the DIR-655 lost connection. (Well, all the wired stuff anyway- not sure about WiFi devices through the DIR-655). I noticed that the port link light for the powered-off device stayed on on the DIR-655. When I unplugged the cable from the DIR-655, everything went back to normal.
So what I'm trying to figure out now is, is this a DIR-655 issue, or is it something screwy with the Belkin? Or Both? I've got to assume that there's some inherent flaw in the DIR-655 that allows something connected to a port to screw up everything that it's hosting.
I'm attempting to configure an for both site-to-site and remote access VPNs. The site-to-site is working fine, however when I connect using the Cisco client, after initial connection and password prompt I get a "not connected" status. The log states that a policy map match could not be found. I have successfully set the unit up for remote access with no site-to-site and ran into another host of issues when adding the site-to-site to the working remote access config, so I started over setting up site-to-site first. I've attempted this through ADSM (hate it) - the current configuration is via CLI. I'm certain I'm just missing a piece or two.
I have a D-Link DGL-4500 router and my landlord recently ungraded our internet connection. However, now I get this error message when I try to hook it up to the ethernet hub,"The addressing of the Internet side learnt thru DHCP conflicts with the addressing selected for the LAN side. Internet communications will be disabled until you have changed the LAN side addressing to resolve the problem."
Here's the situation, 2 houses, house #1 has internet, DIR-665 connected to Cable modem, between the 2 houses CAT 6 cable, house #2 has DIR-655. Both houses need to offer wireless. How should the DIR-655 (house#2) be set up? (SSID/DHCP/UPNP/IP/GATEWAY/SUBNET, etc)?
I have a Netgear media player that I need to keep separate from my LAN. I have a switch that's connected to WAN and from the switch to dir-655 and the Netgem box. So I have two IP:s and the Netgems traffic is not going through the router at all.Now I'm short of LAN ports and I bought an eight port switch. However I only have room for keeping two devices at the space they are at. So I need to get rid of the old switch and somehow manage the network(s) with dir-655 and the new switch. The way I see it, I should connect WAN to dir-655 and from there to the switch and connect the Netgem box to router. But how can I configure dir-655 so that the Netgem is not on LAN with other devices?
I have an old Compaq PC that's running Windows XP SP3 and for quite some time has not had problems with networking or using this wireless adapter. But not long ago the network interface disappeared and the adapter was now being shown in the Device Manager as an unknown device. If you pulled the adapter out and reinserted it you'd get a message on screen that would say something to that effect.
There are two computers next to each other that both use this exact same adapter and I've tried swapping them between the PCs to see if one adapter worked better than another. They both work in one PC and neither work in the PC I'm having trouble with.
I had a Linksys BEFSR41 router with AppleTV 1stGen with 0 problems. Now I have a DIR-655 Vb1 2.00NA firmware and itunes now cannot find the AppleTV as a device. I have tried resetting the AppleTV to factory defaults re-installing latest firmware and reinstalling itunes, powering down all devices etc., and no way can itunes find the appleTV although the appleTV is on the net and seen by the router.I have gone to a wired connection to the router too because the router kept dropping the wireless connection to the router too. Of course I got the DIR-655 for wireless
