Oct 12, 2011I have had my DIR 615 router for about 6 months, and have had no problems. I have a notebook (Sony Vaio) and I also have a Blue-Ray Player and my DirecTV DVR connected by ethernet. Starting a few days ago I was having connectivity issues. At first I could see the network on my Vaio, but the Internet kept coming and going.I did some troubleshooting on the adapter and that seemed to work. Now I am having an issue where every 2 hours or so the wireless drops and the network disappears from the list of available connections on my notebook. I have had my netbook on (connected wireless) and the issues are replicated on that system.
Both of my wired devices do not see any interruption in connectivity. Living in an apartment complex I suspected interference and indeed there are a ton of other networks in range (as per inSSIDer 2.0). As there is no channel that is clearly open, I have set my router to auto channel scan. I also have tried some of the steps outlined in other threads. The thing I am noticing is that when the network connection drops my network (which has a unique name) doesn't even show up on inSSIDer, it just disappears. When working, my network is consistantly in the -25 range on inSIDDer.I should point out also that my notebook is a mere 8 feet from the router, and there are no obstructions.

Sep 20, 2011Linksys WRT54G in reset mode, that is no security, SSID broadcast as linksys as it would be after pressing the reset button. When I go into the network and sharing center on my laptop running Vista and try to connect to the network it doesn't show up in the connect to a network dialog box. Rescanning doesn't work. My friends MAC locates the router with no problem. Disabling and enabling the wireless adapter and rebooting the laptop doesn't work. I'm working right next to the router. If I go to Manage Wireless Networks and add add a new network manually and input the network name (linksys) and Security Type disabled then I can connect to the router and all is well. I've set up a few routers and never seen this problem.

So when we connect This Router to the Modem it doesn't show connection to the internet. (The Setup fails because of this). But with the old one it does connect to the internet. Its a typical L3 config with one IP on the vllan interface acting as the gateway for the VLAN devices. Is this a normal behaviur ? and if so is there any way to get the traffic in/out stats. The end PC/devices are connected to this switch via an L2 TRUNK and I dont have access to the L2 switch on which the actual devices connect. so cant get the real time stats of those interfaces.

And still no access. The only way I have been able to access Facebook is by turning the firewall off on my wireless router (Belkin Wireless G). I don't want to have to turn the firewall off just to go on facebook. I am the only person in the house who uses a computer and the internet. So settings have not been changed, because I am the only person with access to change them (password protected wireless network as well).

Dec 26, 2012I've had two 932Ls for a year and they work fine. Both installed trouble-free and have been used with motion-detection wirelessly. I often go straight to their local IPs in my browser to make any changes to settings etc (avoiding myDlink). I just bought two 930Ls (don't need/want the IR-function on these) and tried to install them. Process went seemingly smooth but once the camera was installed and wireless, problems started to crop up. As I saved settings in the web interface, I would get 404 "page not found" errors. Refreshing would make it work again...sometimes. More often than not, I cannot reach it through the web interface and the camera reads "disconnected" in D-ViewCam. It usually works on myDlink though. i've checked all the network and wireless settings and they are identical to my 932Ls. The connection is just unstable for some reason. The problems are apparent in the web interface and D-ViewCam which also means I can't trust the motion detection and emailing function. It is also NOT visible in my Windows 7 network environment, whereas the two 932Ls (and my entire Sonos network) do show up there.The 930L is running firmware 1.04 and the 932Ls are running 1.02. I know there is a 1.06 available but before I try that I'd like to get your views on this problem. Could it be a faulty unit? I don't want to fight through this problems - if it persists I'd rather return the cameras and buy two more expensive 932Ls and just turn off the IR in the interface. Or is this a known issue with the 1.04 firmware?
Even writing this right now, the camera suddenly popped back up on the web interface inexplicably, without me doing anything. and back up on D-View Main Console.
