We use C2950G switches with IOS 12.1(22)EA12 . Switches are set up to send logs to a server (informationnal level). On this server, we receive many of logs from those switches, but none about interfaces errors (even if interfaces statistics show interfaces errors). On C3548 switches it's work fine. How should I be sure the set up of switches is correct ? Why do I never receive messages as %LINK-4-ERROR:[char] is experiencing errors ?

This issue temporarily relieves when reseating the X2 module, but reappears after reloading the switch.
I am receiving this error after connecting a copper adapter on a GBIC blade in a 6509. Here are the results from the show Interface. I am waiting to confirm the device on the other side settings but as far as I see I get UP and Up for protocol and line respectively.
GigabitEthernet2/11 is up, line protocol is up (connected) Hardware is C6k 1000Mb 802.3, address is 0009.11e4.f3ce (bia 0009.11e4.f3ce) Description: RCPBSDEV MTU 1500 bytes, BW 1000000 Kbit, DLY 10 usec, reliability 255/255, txload 1/255, rxload 1/255 Encapsulation ARPA, loopback not set
There is a cisco ws-c6509,recently it appear error log “%FABRIC-SP-6-TIMEOUT_ERR: Fabric in slot 5 reported timeout error for channel 11 (Module 3, fabric connection 1)”. When I reload the device, the error log disappear. But a few days later,it appears again.I try to replace the slot 3 (WS-X6704-10GE),the error log continues. The IOS version is 's72033_rp-ADVIPSERVICESK9_WAN-M), Version 12.2(18)SXF8"
I currently have a couple of 6509 chassis (router/switches) with the following hardware blades:

I am keeping the four Sup720 modules and have purchased new versions of the others blades including two new 6509-E chassis? Can I take my stand-by Sup720 out of the production machine and insert it into the new chassis?

We are using almost 10 Nexus 5k in our DC currently we are getting same error logs in all Nexus 5k." ntpd[4746]: ntp:time reset +0.279670 s " ,Is it major error or just for reset time?
I have a remote 3G Cisco router (Cisco 819) that occastionally drops it's EzyVPN and the local guys just reboot the device so when I log on and check the logs it is empty. My syslog server shows very little, can I keep the logs locally or up the logging to the syslog server?
I am having some issues on my network and i think i have narrowed them down to a single switch.
On this switch the following logs can be seen 2147482407 05-May-2012 15:40:54 Informational %AAA-I-CONNECT: New http connection for user admin, source 10.0.5.135 destination 10.0.5.172 ACCEPTED 2147482431 05-May-2012 09:03:31 Warning %STP-W-PORTSTATUS: g13: STP status Forwarding 2147482432 05-May-2012 09:03:01 Informational %LINK-I-Up: g13 [code]......
All other switches are OK and do not show anything in their logs. I am trying to figure out what could be going wrong. Spanning tree is enabled on all switches. The switch tihs is happening on, ends in the ip 172 and is where all building cables connect to. They also connect to 174. I have attached an image of the infrastructure so you can visually see what i mean.
I have problem with ACS 5.0 on reporting. On "Monitoring and Report" page in Faverite Reports when i clicking on "Authentications - RADIUS - Today", My browser displays error "Error while reading skin-access.config. Please make sure the file exists and conforms to the schema specified"
I must also mention that I never upgraded the version of ACS from 5.0 also from command line all the acs services are running. It is running on CISCO 1120 Secure Access Controll Server apliance.
My second question is can I upgrade the version of ACS to 5.4 with Cisco Secure ACS 5 Base License?

It looks like both my HSRP Interfaces (VLAN 600 & 700) cycle through standby --> active ---> speak continuously on one of the two switches. What can be causing this?

I have got a l2 link of 512 kbps from two different ISP. I want to aggegrate the bandwidth of this connection so that I can feel like having 1 mbps connection. I am not actually talking about load balancing, but bandwidth/link aggegration. Can we have the solution of failover with different vlan from different isp ? Can we be able to make the link as a single link.
The router 1841 is connected directly to the layer switch. the network diagram is below:
Office A --> Switch (L3) --> Router 1841 --> Internet --> Office B
However, when I transfer the file from Office A to office B, the speed very slow ( only around 40 kb/second), and there are an input error and CRC error:

I am not getting interface up/down logs in my switch console through show logging command. Switch model cisco WS-C4506-E and IOS :- cat4500e-ipbasek9-mz.122-53.SG3.bin. I have done below mention configurations, we can't configure logging level beyond informational. [code]

we've had an issue with our network, we have 2 6509 connected with redundancy, which are connected with 2 x 4900 Switches, from which are connected to a ESX Chassis for visualization, the thing is that the ESX stopped working, and the 4900 switches, and the main core were suffering from overload, they hang on it very well, in order to stop the overload, one of the links to the ESX Chassis were disconnected from one of the 4900 switches. The CPU usage from the 4900 and the core(6509) went down below 40%, and then they started to migrate the virtual servers from the chassis to another 2 chassis that were added right after. They were actually working well, but suddenly the 6509 changed to the other supervisor after everything was OK. We were wondering what could have been the cause of this, maybe the virtual servers migrations, maybe the overload from the ESX ? We also had a few question, is there any need to reload the cores every few months as a planned task ? Because the cores have been up for more than 1 year. And also is there any kind of of tool to monitor the CPU status, or the status overall from the cores or the switches ?
The have around 80 staff and I think the current infrastructure is overkill for the size of the company. The current kit is old and they have no GB ethernet ports. They currently have:-
Core Switch: 1x Cisco c6509with a 48 port fast ethernet module (WS-X6248-RJ-45) and an 8 port fibre module (WS-X6408A-GBIC)
I'm looking to replace this with something with 72 ethernet ports and 8 fibre ports
Access Switches: 2x 3500Replacement needs at least 48 ports and 2 fibre modules each
and 2x 5500Replacement needs at least 72 ports and 2 fibre modules each.
I have two ISPs. Each is on it's own subnet connected to the 6509 MSFC/Switch. FW1 is on 100.1.100.0/30 and FW2 is on 200.1.200.0/30 subnet. My goal is route all traffice going to the Internet from subnet 10.133.3.0/24 to FW1 and all other subnets across the organization to FW2. I am not sure if I need to use ACL / Static route combo, or just a static routes or ACLS?
