This is regarding an issue with one of my access point. The access point 1252 is autonomous one running the IOS version C1250 Software (C1250-K9W7-M), Version 12.4(10b)JDA3, RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc1)
The status of the dot11Radio 0 interface is showing as RESET. I have pasted the interface brief details below.

We have two autonomous access point 1142 series running 12.4(21a)JA1 and randomly the Dot11Radio0 interface goes into reset/down state. At first I thought it was something related to power consumption issue on the switch, but looking at the remaining (w) I have plenty.

View 10 Replies View RelatedI have connected my 2504 to a 3560 switch via a UTP SFP on a Gig port.
I have my management on 10.0.0.x I have tried tagging the port and untagging.
When I connect to the 3560 the interface comes up a-1000 a-full but when I look on the WLC the port I am using, port 1, shows Link status down.
The green light is on both the WLC port and the 3560 port but I cannot get the link status to come up on the WLC nor can I ping the WLC.
It must be something dumb I have missed.
The WLC port is autonegotiate too.
I updated the firmware of my DIR601 to 1.02NA, it now only show NA under status for WAN, even though its connected (PPPoE). It worked with 1.01NA. I tried rebooting the router but no effect

View 8 Replies View RelatedOn a 4500 switch having a single sup engine, another sup engine was installed to act as redundant one.the redundancy mode was changed to sso, thereafter the secondary sup was prompted to be reset.
After it came back up again, the redundancy status still shows as RPR in operation mode.

They are in H-REAP mode as are all the other AP's, but for some reason I have to keep going in and setting the Admin Status of the AP to Enable. This has been occuring across different firmaware versions since 4, we are currently running 7.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI've just got a new AP 1250 series, and I was trying to configure the Radio for the 2.4Ghz spectrum using the interface dot11radio 0 and I've just noticed that this controller is not present so I cannot configure it so I wonder is it could be a HW problems as it looks to me or there is another way to enable this.
I never have an issue like this before so I want to first check with you before going back to our vendor.
Here is some of the details I get from the AP itself:

I have a 1 month old SG200-26P - the green status LED is blinking constantly (> 30 minutes), I cannot access the webGUI, nor is it responding to ping. I have tried resetting via holding reset for > 10 seconds with no effect, the status/activity LEDs are still illuminating against all connected ports, excluding any of the PoE ports which are running a couple of cisco IP phones. I've tried accessing the device via both the static IP I configured, and the default IP.
I have disconnected all ports, then powered on the device, but same results...Do I have a dead switch? Anything I can do other than return for warranty claim which is going to be last resort due holiday period and leaving the customer offline for extended period...

On my Switch (3750), i have a host connected. Checked the interface status and it shows as "connected". However, when i tried checking the MAC connected to that interface, its not showingI have my Switch (3750) connected to a Router (3845). On the Switch, i have a printer connected in an interface. I am seeing the Printer's MAC associated with the switch port. However, when i checked the ARP table; no entry seen for the Printer's MAC. What are the possible reasons for this? We have several same kind of devices connected to network and they are fine.

View 1 Replies View RelatedWe have 4x AP1142 standalone APs in WDS mode with roaming and RADIUS from Windows AD for auth.Everything works as expected apart from two APs that frequently reset Dot11Radio0 interface. The other two are fine.
The config on all APs is identical, version of IOS is the same accross all APs (12.4(23c)JA3). The only way to get reset inteface back up is to "reload". [code]

I have created a domain name [URL] I have used zoneedit's free DNS server as I cant be bothered setting one up for what I want to do. Now I have my external ip "eg.eg.eg.eg" which i entered into the configuration on zoneedit. I then typed www.mydomainname.net.au into google chrome and I am prompted for my Thompson gateway (my modem/Router) username and password. This I enter and i find my self being able to configure the settings for my router over the internet from my domain name....this makes me go huh? I also tryed using the free dyndns.org with exactly the same results. I have no idea what I am supposed to do next anyway. Btw the website I am trying to host is a Joomla 1.6.3 so I would need to run a WAMP Server as well, but if I have troubles with that I can ask the Joomla Forums.So my main question is what on earth do I do now. Perhaps I need to do something with the ports or settings in my router, and where do I even put the files for the wesite and I do not mean to insult anyone I just don't want to be plainly stating my external ip on the web (i know it is visible on any website i go to) whilst it is linked to my router settings.

There were input and CRC errors on Te int (SFP 10Gb - LRM) on 2960S, which cause the interface to reset and drop connections. While troubleshooting this issue, I have replaced patch cords and also had the tech checking the fiber. He said that there was some residue on one of the connectors, so the light levels fluctuated in 1300nm, but worked fine in 850. Well LRMs are using 1300, so he re-polished the tips, which worked to stabilize the light levels. After all that, I was still receiving the input/CRC errors, but the connection was NOT dropping. As my last resort I swapped the SFPs between the core and 2960, thinking I should start having issues on the core end. View 5 Replies View RelatedI have an issue with input errors, overruns, and input reset drops on the inside interface of an 5580-40 (v8.2.5: Transparent mode) The box is not stressed at all according to the 'show' commands in the Cisco troubleshooting performance document for PIX/ASA v8.2.5. Nothing stands out because is pretty much normal, nothing (processes, RAM, blocks, IO...) really being highly utilized. I have replaced the 10Gig card and that seemed to work because the rate of errors has gone down tremedously. The next step is to RMA the whole box.My question is what would be the cause of the inside interface to stop processing traffic (I say that because the syslog server stops receiving messages) for some periods of 30 seconds periodically throughout the day and clients lose their connections (ie Outlook, IBM Sametime, Oracle, MSSQL..etc). Can the issue be somewhere related to the overruns and input errors?
