Cisco Wireless :: HWIC-3G-HSPA Card Was Working Properly But 3G Interface Resets

We have Cisco 2811 router with Hwic-3g-HSPA card. When I configure the system everything was fine. Around two weeks 3g interface works, got IP address ,everyting was fine.Yesterday I check the sytem and I saw that cellular interface become reseting itself, without stoping.We have 2 g.shdls and one 3G connection on the same router. dialer 0 ansd dialer 1 for g.shdls, and dilaer 3 for 3G connection. i have a 1841 cisco router and i recently purchased a 1 port HWIC wan interface card. My problem is that I cannot see the interface in my config file. Is there something i am missing?

Within the space of a few days we've had 2 HWIC-3G-HSPA-G cards appear to fail on different router models. In each case the sh cell x/x/x hardware output is empty i.e no firmware version or other data provided and the radio status is off. Attempts to force the interface down using the test ....modem-power-cycle or radio-power off get the same error message that the modem is still in reset. Reloading the router does not clear this so we recently tried to update the firmware using the latest version off CCO. The upgrade using the microcode commands failed with an error of "unable to determine the modem state".

I have many HWIC-3G-HSPA cards as backup connections and I need to keep them up for monitoring purposes. Being a backup connection they get little interesting traffic for them to spring into life but they are the source interface for a tunnel interface (we use DMVPN). The interface still insists on going down. I have even added static routes to the DMVPN hubs over the cellular interface and they still go down. What command do I enter to always keep them up? I had originally used 'dialer idle-timeout 0' and then removed it altogether which the same results. Below is what I have now.

I have some issue on Card Hwic-D-9ESW with Router 2821, i was install card 9ESW in to router 2821 on slot 2 and 3. After I show run, the Cisco Router 2821 have interface F0/3/0 - F0/3/8.and i configure V lan already and interface up also.
When i connect PC to port F0/3/0, the interface is up, but i cannot pint go interface, i mean it request time out. My question is, Is it correct that i install card into slot 2 and 3?
What is the problem all port up but i cannot ping to interface?
Note: the same V lan

my office is looking in ordering a HWIC-1FE to supply our cisco 1841 router with a second ISP connection. i wanted to find out if this card support load balancing and fail over? not sure if fail over is the right terminology so ill explain, i need it so that if one ISP connection goes down (as it does often) it fails over to the second ISP.

I have a couple of 114n APs in my network and the CAPWAP uptime and AP uptime are almost the same. But there is one which always resets after some time. I have moved across to another switch port but the issue persists. I have other 1141 and 1131's on this switch and no problems. The keep alives between the AP and Controller is regular. I can't get more info from the traps as the reason code is always;
" AP associated to Controller is UP. Reason: Radio interface reset due to Init"
"AP associated to Controller is down. Reason: Radio interface reset"
"AP associated to Controller is UP. Reason: Radio interface reset"
####Only 2ice was the reason code "Operator changed 11g mode". I have seen some posts about similar problems but there hasn't been any concrete solution provided.
note that RLDP is disabled, Primary discovery timer is 120sec, and the version is 7.098

I am troubleshooting interface resets on a 3660 connected to a 3550 over Fast Ethernet. I have hard coded both sides for full duplex and 100Mbit. The 3660 is incrementing interface resetes about 4-6 times a day and the 3550 is clean. I have noticed this in other similar configurations as well.

Here is an example of what each switch logs when a server drops offline. Sample logs taken between 5:32am and 5:35am on Feb 20. This particular one was having problems all weekend. Switch #1 encountered over 2000 interface resets. The corresponding VPC port on Switch #2 only had 13 resets.

I've been given an 1841 with a 3G HWIC card installed to test with. I need to set up some sort of VPN to our ASA, the problem is though these 3G cards get a random public IP, so what options do I have to create a VPN tunnel from this router to the ASA without the 1841 getting a static public IP?

I recently replaced a Linksys wireless router with a Netgear wireless router(provided by Comcast) to the modem in my house. I used my HP Pavilion as the computer to run the setup disk and the wireless wizard to link the new router to the modem. I unplugged my HP from the router and proceeded to setup my computer on the wireless network.

When I check the strength sometimes it indicates it's good if I'm practically sitting on top of the router, this seems to eventually degrade to low until finally the connection drops.Repairing' with XP repair facility doesn't work. I can forget about getting a connection if I move further away from the router. At the moment I'm relying on using an ethernet cable snaking across the dining room, which isn't really practical with a toddler and a dog racing around. Recently a friend put a bigger HD in and before this it was working fine, so I suspect that it may be due to this. I think it's due to the wirless card in the laptop, as I have a number of other devices in the house which all work fine.

I have a 2811 router runnning IOS 12.4(21) and have added an HWIC 1FE card to slot 2. But the card doesnot show up in the router and all the three lights on the HWIC card is steady green. I have gone through some cisco documentation and found that i have to upgrade the IOS.
I have few questions before doing the upgrade.
1. Which IOS version should I upgrade to?
2. Will this erase my exisitng running configuration ? I have VPN services, PPPoATM, PBR etc.. all running on this router at present.
3. Presently i have a 128 MB CF card on the router. Will this be enough or do i need to upgrade this card also? Can i choose an IOS which will fit into this card otherwise while keeping all existng features?
4. I want to use the HWIC card for the ISP's internet service through PPPoE. Will this be possible with the upgraded IOS ?

I checked what she needed, updated her drivers for Ethernet and Wireless, and the Device Manager is stating that they are both working fine. (no ! or ? on them)When I plug in an ethernet cable it works fine. It gets connection pretty well through my BT Infinity modem.However the wireless will not pick up any connections at all. I attempted troubleshooting, and all it says, "Your network adapter is experiencing problems" etc.I thought that I may need to turn on Wireless Association on the modem, but that didn't work. My dads laptop is also a Windows 7 Laptop and that works fine and will bring up all connections in the area, including mine.
So I googled around, and I found that I may need to turn on a wireless switch. After looking around the laptop, I noticed two things. 1) There is no wireless switch, and 2) There is an orange light above the WIFI symbol.So I googled around a bit more, and found it might be turned off in the FN+f8 Flash card feature. At first I couldn't actually bring this up, so I reinstalled the flash card, and it began to work. It claims the wireless connection is "On".I am not sure what to do next. I have checked the services to make sure WLAN Autoconfig is on Automatic, and Started, and it is. I also tried disabling, then enabling both ethernet, and wireless connections, which did nothing.

I am trying to configure a shdsl port on a 2911 router for CO mode of operation.The dsl-group auto command does not seem to change the port to operate in CO mode and the link will not come up to a remote router that has a card installed operating in CPE mode.The configuration I have applied for the shdsl controller is.

I have a scenario where multiple branches are connected to Head Office via DSL links. The branches are located in differenct exchanges, everyone once in a while ALL branches go down at the exact same time except 3 branches and those 3 branches don't have ATM interface on the router, rather they have external DSL modem, all other branches that face the disconnection (for couple of minutes) have either HWIC-1ADSL-M or HWIC-2SHDSL and the DSL line is directly plugged into the card. [code]
I tried so many solutions like adding "operating-mode auto" command under the subinterface, IOS upgrade, changed dynamic routing protocol from EIGRP to OSPF... Nothing worked, on the logs of the router it just shows "EIGRP neighbor down", at the time of the problem I can't ping any of the affected branches on their WAN ATM interface although it stays physically "up up".Could the problem be a missing command that I need to add under the subinterface? Something maybe related to clocking or timeout or..?Note that hte problem occurs randomly, every few days, sometimes every 10 days, and all branches with ATM interface go down at the exact same time.

I've got a Gateway 2wire 3800 HGV-B router which works fine wirelessly, but when using an ethernet cable to connect to the internet, it doesn't even recognize the computer. My laptop runs wirelessly all the time, and I recently picked up a desktop PC for home here, and it's the first wired connection I'm using, but for some reason the wired connection isn't connecting to my network, but instead it's own Unidentified Network.
