Dlink DIR 600 - Wireless Lan Router Cannot Access Configuration

Recently the router has been dropping the wireless connection, and now is not connecting with the computer - the ethernet still works. It was suggested to upgrade the firmware but I can't access the configuration.I've tried admin, and blank password which is supposed to be the default. I've also tried XXXXX as password, and another username and password in case I had altered it for security.It doesn't allow me in.

I've been using DIR-600 wireless router since an year. But, after having a factory reset i'm having a strange issue. When i'm configuring the router in the Dlink page(192.168.0.1 now i changed it to 192.168.1.100).. In that i go to Manual Internet Configuration>> then i select Static IP(Since i've been provided a static IP,gateway, DNS settings by my ISP) As soon as enter IP: 192.168.1.2,, and Subnet 255.255.255.0,,,Gateway : 192.168.1.1 and enter DNS details and press SAVE.. I get a message " Invalid IP Address".. I've set the Router IP as 192.168.1.100 and DHCP range : 3 to 199I don't know why is this happening.. I'm not able to connect to internet now from the router.

i have a dlink-615 router and im wondering if i can configure it the best way possible to work best with wireless devices, like my laptop.there are 4computers running on my network and i want to get the best result possibly for my connection.can i change settings in the routers configuration page so 1 computer can have 90% of the signal or bandwidth of the connection.i want to decrease the other 3family members connectivity to my router, like limit their use of the network or signal/speed/bandwidth strength?

I have a Dlink DIR 615 , I can never get it to manage the time correctly, even without any down time the time always goes off by hours or days. I tried using an NTP server option... 3.ca.pool.ntp.org but it doesn't work.... so I am not able to schedule the internet effectively router that they have that keeps the time and allows them to control the Internet access that would be good. My kids are teenagers so sometimes it is like talking to a wall trying to get them to control their internet, I can easily block them entirely as I have Mac filtering set, and I will do this, but I would like to not have to constantly check to see if they are online which is easily done with Ipods.

Until recently I used the 2.4GHZ band for my pc and my son used 5GHZ for his laptop on our D-link router.A couple of weeks ago our provider installed a new Cisco modem/router-in-one (the old modem didn't work any more). We use the D-link as a second router. The 2.5Ghz band is no problem but my son doesn't get internet access with 5Ghz

I have a dell inspiron laptop with windows vista installed. I have been traveling all over Germany and automatically detecting internet wherever I go however I cannot detect the dlink wireless access point directly across from me. My work computer is detecting and connecting just fine. I see other wireless networks just not the one I have a password for so I cannot connect. I have reset and seperately restarted the wireless access point but no luck. I am in desperate need of this wireless access. There is no line I can plug into manually either. I have also tried to manually set up the network and that either did not work or I did not go about it correctly.

I got my NTFS formatted drive to work with the E4200 router via its USB port.I do not see any 'Access' option to configure different access types based on users. I do have users configured in the Administration tab; these are what came per-configured on the router.

I have a WRT54G with updated firmware. Today I saved my configuration to a config.bin file. When I tried loading the file, the admin screen went blank. Now I am no longer able to access either the internet or the router's admin page. Is a hard reset my only option?

By now, I'm sure E4200 and other Router users that have twonky have noticed they cannot access the twonky configuration pages, as you have chosen to block them. Please give advanced users a work around to this, because if Twonky does not recognize our newer TV/devices, then we cannot play certain file formats without manually configuring the service.

I use to run Twonky media server on my iMac and I was very happy with it. Now I have purchased a Linksys Wifi Router E4200. Twonky server embedded works fine with all my devices except with my Samsung D8000 Led TV. In the Mac version I must identify manually the player (Samsung TV), if not mkv won't play. The question is: How can I select the device in the Linksys E4200? The config page is not available and displays "Access is restricted to mediaserver configuration" E4200 firm V. 1.0.03

I have a new Dlink wireless router. Previously I had a Belkin router. The new one was said to have stronger signal. I am not able to connect via wireless to the router from a PC with Windows Vista. It works fine when I use a cable. Then I am able to connect to Internet via the router. Also, I am able to print on a wireless printer. It is also possible to use Internet from an Ipad with wifi.
The Belkin router had a different network, 192.168.2....When the cable is connected I can ping 192.168.0.1 but not when I remove the cable. In Windows Vista the connection has status "connected". When the cable is connected, the ipconfig /all is printed as below. It is a Swedish version. Some translated words:

I recently bought a new D-Link DIR 615 but I dont get adequate range in the rooms farthest away from the router. I have an old D-Link DIR 634M router which I'm told can be used as a wireless repeater. I went through several articles that describe connecting the two routers through a LAN cable. However is there a way to do the same without using a cable of any sorts?

I tested my network throughput speed and it's pitiful. 11Mbit/s or 1450 KB/s! I am running the test from two wireless machines connected via a wireless N router(DLink DIR-655). Both are in good range.I am using the Microsoft NTttcp tool to test my network throughput.

I have been putting up with rubbish wireless signal down one end of my house now for quite some time. So I thought I have a spare wireless router and I could put it down there but I am sure ts not as easy as just plugging it and away you go.

I am attempting to install a D-LINK DWL3200 into my office network. I can't for the life of me get into the router though to change the password and name!I've read through various forums about running ipconfig and that giving me the gateway - However, we main router where the internet runs through so the IP address of the gateway is the main router! The default IP address listed on several forums is 192.168.0.50, but as everything in this network has an IP .50 is a printer!

If I go to "wireless settings" option, it shows the three options "wireless network setup wizard", "add wireless device with WPS", "manual wireless network setup", but I cannot find any option to edit the wireless network that was already set up.

Its a Toshiba laptop and she has a d-link 2680 wireless router. The laptop will successfully connect to the internet through an ethernet cable, and will connect to the wireless network fine but when wireless i cannot access the internet. I have an iphone which connects to the wireless network and accesses the web perfectly.I have tried everything I can think of and find online to try and talktalk tech support won't assist as its a hardware setup issue.
