I have one router (A) (192.168.0.xxx) that serves as internet gateway. Another two routers (B & C) (192.168.1.xxx & 192.168.2.xxx) that serves two sub-net/network, are connected to this router (A). How can I set it up so that PCs in sub-net C are able to print to network printers in sub-net B? Pls note that I do not have full control over router A.

You can also print to the wireless printer in that room via that wifi modem being local. Whenever user from Modem A(192.168.0.1) or Modem B(192.168.0.10) would like to print or scan something using the shared printer, I need to manually plug the cable into either Modem A or Modem B depends on the network the user are currently using.How I do previously is only set DHCP on Modem A and disable DHCP for modem B so that Modem B will share DHCP assigned by Modem A. Both modems connect to the same Switch with the printer cable so both network user can use it together.But the problem now is I have to enable DHCP for both modems and causing the previously method can't be use anymore. So is there any other way that I can link both Modem A and Modem B with each assign different DHCP to link with 1

View 2 Replies View Relatedi have a ZyXel prestige 650H-31 Model # router and i'm not able to go on to configuration page of the router i tried 192.168.1.1 several times, even after system reboot and router reset, but of no use. I've a wire connection with desktop (RJ-45 port) not USB AND MY PPPoE lights never lit. originally when i entered the gateway 192.168.1.1 it asked me for username & password, since i didn't have the password at that time i tried to reset the router but after that when ever i entered 192.168.1.1 in the browser it never came up with the option to enter user name & password. I've checked all the wires are also connected. I tried prompt command and it showed that timed out thrice and then sent= 4 received= 0 lost= 100%. I had D-Link router prior to it and later connected the D-Link router an i was able to get connected to net and browse normally.

The PC's that I plug into any of the 8 ports are working fine. However, when I plug in a network printer, it does not work from the network, only from a PC that is also plugged into the RV082, basically locally, using TCPIP
From our data center, I can ping the printer, but the printer shows 'Off-Line'. I even tried to add a TCPIP port, in the printer setup, and it does not see it.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have a bit of an unusual networking situation here in my home and need proper configuration, so I stop losing my web connection on a daily basis.The reason I'm forced to have the 2nd router is that my wife telecommutes and the 1st (primary router) is provided by her company. For whatever reasons, her company will not allow the wireless radio in their router to be turned ON - which forces me to add the 2nd wireless router for our 3 computers that require wireless access.
1 - Since the primary router has DHCP enabled, I am assuming that I should Disable DHCP on my wireless router. Am I correct?
2 - What other settings on the wireless router do I need to pay particular attention to in this situation?

I am looking to extend the wireless range of my network into the kitchen at the other end of the house, which is a rather large distance away. The house is 200 years old with large corridors and thick walls. There is absolutely no wireless range from about halfway between the office and kitchen. I initially tried two powerline adapters which did not work. Having spoken with an electrician who carried out a rewire on the house, I have been advised that the two areas are on a separate ring main.I considered using two wireless range extenders, but have been told that the signal is halved for each extender that I use.So, I have had the idea of trying to use two DSL routers at each side of the house. There is a phone point in the office and also in the kitchen, where the second router would plug into. These are both on the same telephone line.
