Cisco WAN :: Minimum Parameters To Configure T1 Between Two 1841?
Oct 16, 2011I configure two WIC-1DSU-T1-v2 interfaces with a T1 crossover cable. What are the mimimum configurations to do to communicate from LAN1 (int fa0/0 of one 1841 router) to LAN2 (int fa0/0 of the second 1841 router) ?
Do I need a routage protocole ? And if yes wich one ? Interne or externe (RIP or BGP) Or static route is enough ? Also, is that I should put a encapsulation, like ppp ? Is it neccessary on a point to point line ?
Finally what about the following commands, do I need it ?
service-module t1 clock source internal
service-module t1 timeslots 1-24 speed 64
service-module t1 framing esf

Mar 30, 2011i have a pppoe connection coming through ethernet line. i.e i need to use dialer that i have created on the desktop..and i have bought a new Linksys E1000 router v2.1..now my problem is that1) After entering all the settings correctly my router worked for 3 days after that the net is not working.i.e it cannot connect to the internet keeps giving the error cannot get IP from PPPOE(i have connected my router in pppoe mode and use the router status page to connect and disconnect)I have also updated the router to the latest firmware 2.1.01 and after that the problems have started.My Net works if i directly plug the Ethernet cable in the PC.the problem starts when i connect it to my router.

May 30, 2011i have a ZyXel prestige 650H-31 Model # router and i'm not able to go on to configuration page of the router i tried 192.168.1.1 several times, even after system reboot and router reset, but of no use. I've a wire connection with desktop (RJ-45 port) not USB AND MY PPPoE lights never lit. originally when i entered the gateway 192.168.1.1 it asked me for username & password, since i didn't have the password at that time i tried to reset the router but after that when ever i entered 192.168.1.1 in the browser it never came up with the option to enter user name & password. I've checked all the wires are also connected. I tried prompt command and it showed that timed out thrice and then sent= 4 received= 0 lost= 100%. I had D-Link router prior to it and later connected the D-Link router an i was able to get connected to net and browse normally.

Nov 5, 2011i have a LAN network between several pc's connected with several switch's and connected to Thomson SpeedTouch 510 DSL Router its ip address is 10.0.0.100 subnet 255.0.0.0 and the router dont give auto ip to the PCs i have to issign it manually to the PCs "static ip".I bought the acer android recently so i bought a tp-link td-w8901g wireless router to act as an access point so i connected the 2 routers to each other by LAN and gave the tp-link an ip address 10.0.0.12 subnet mask 255.0.0.0 so it will be the same ip range of the speedtouch and setuped the tp-link router to fit my isp configeration it worked at first but i had to reset the router so i did the same configuration i did before but didnt work and i cant access the internet using the android or the wireless but when i connect the phone to the tp-link and unplug the speedtouch the wireless works so theres no any problem with the router?

Jul 16, 2012I'm having trouble connecting my 02 dongle to the internet using my router. My router is a TP-LINK MR3420 and my 02 modem device is E1752. I checked to see if the modem is compatible and it says it is. I went through the configuration that was given to me with the router and I tried using you tube but nothing. Do i need to get a static I.P address off my Internet provider? If I plug my 02 USB dongle directly into my computer it works perfectly and I got the router to work using a Ethernet cable and plugging it into the WAN port at the back of the router but I would prefer to let it connect through the 3g port

Apr 12, 2011ive been having a problem with my router since ive been using it for its wireless capabilities. it is a linksys wrt120n router. our internet comes from our local cable provider and it is good internet (10Mb download speed). running to our old router that split the connection between my xbox and our desktop computer worked fine and even for a large amout of time after i switched to this wrt120n there were no internet problems. now all of a sudden the router drops connection multiple times a day which can become a hassle when i'm doing something importaant and lose connection. and just a little bit of extra information i cycle the systems every time it does it and theres no fix.
