I have aVB script which contains pops up a message. I need to push this script out as a scheduled task through gpmc. The GP works fine, but the pop up message doesn't show. The scripts ultimately does what it's suppose to do, but the pop-up message just won't show up. The scripts runs fine if you run it directly and/or manually assign to a workstation.

View 2 Replies View RelatedAfter a day of troubleshooting I have finally got the QuickVPN client to work. I connect however during the connection I get: "Server's certificate doesn't exist on your local computer. Do you want to quit this connection?" I click no and it connects fine other than this error. So how do I get rid of this error? Also I have exported the client certificate from the RV110 and put it in the quickvpn directory as I saw suggested elsewhere.

We are planning to split the Private servers from the DMZ Servers and configure an additional Interface and segment for this purpose.
Private Servers Segment: 192.168.4.0/24 (there is no DHCP all servers' IPs are statically configured)
DMZ Segment: 192.168.3.0/24 (This is a future deployment)
LAN Segment: 172.17.0.0/16
Both, Private Servers and DMZ Servers are in a collocation as well as the ASA5520. There are multiple Branch offices that uses subnets within the 172.17.0.0/16 Network and they are connected to the ASA5520 via Metro-E.
I do not know if this is possible but what I want to do is this:
In order to avoid the change of internal DNS records I want to mask the DMZ servers with a Private Server IP when a Private server or LAN host wants to access it like this:
The FTP server in the DMZ has the IP address: 192.168.3.100. But when a PC from the LAN wants to reach the FTP server it should points to its old IP: 192.168.4.100. This way the PC sends a packet to the ftp.corporate.net (192.168.4.100) the ASA recieves the packet and translate it to the (192.168.3.100) and send it out through the DMZ Interface.
Also if the Private Servers wants to reach the same FTP the ASA will act like a proxy-ARP and send the paquet to the DMZ by means of the translation of the IP.

It did work ok but not now.Even after I put the setup disc into it, it does not show that it has recognised the router. I can only get it to work by using an ethernet cable. I tried to install my router onto it and it came up with a message saying it had "two network adapters, please click on one of them" or words to that effect. It didn't show anything to click onAlso she has recently bought a new desktop computer (Windows 7) and when I was looking into the routers settings it is still showing her name of the old PC she has scapped in the Network. Therefore on the BASIC NETWORK INFORMATION screen it says Network 2. I know this is probably not important but if she ever buys a new PC in the future it will show Network 3So what can I do to get rid of the old computer name on the router settings?

View 5 Replies View RelatedAfter making some physical changes to my home network (which had been running for sometime without incident) my desktop machine stopped (home built MSI X58 Platinum MB) talking to the network. I get "media not connected" even though I am connected, and the connection works for any other computer I attach. I get indication of proper physical connection at both ends (router and computer ethernet port), however I get no connection and the default 169 .... IP address. It does not matter if I create a fixed IP address in the router and set the ip address of the port to correspond. I have tried all the ip resets, stack resets, remove and reinstall the network ports, etc., to no avail. Connecting directly to the cable modem did not work. I even installed a new buss ethernet card with its own drivers and I get the same 'media not connected'.

I just recently bought a new HP Envy m6 laptop that's not even close to a week old yet and I've run into problems with the wired connection. I have two different belkin ethernet cable cords to use and neither of them seem to be connecting whenever I plug them into the ethernet socket on my laptop. I've tried uninstalling the network adapters and updating the drivers. None of that seemed to have solved my problem so far.
Is there anything that I can do to solve this problem? I would be fine with the wireless connection that I'm currently using if it didn't fluctuate so horribly. I live in an apartment complex that provides internet access to me so I don't know what company they are using nor the router that is providing me with the wireless connection. I will be checking in with the management to see if it's not a problem with their internet tomorrow.
As for the network adapter itself, I have a Qualcomm Atheros AR9485 802.11b/g/n WiFi Adapter and a Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller. I'm assuming the Realtek adapter is the one that deals with wired connections. I'm currently running Windows 8 on the laptop.

I am receiving an error message window titled "Wireless Configuration" with the following message:
"OLE initialization failed. Make sure that the OLE libraries are the correct version."
I cannot find anything about updating OLE libraries in Windows 7. I have not installed any new software, and my computer is barely 2 years old. I do not find it a coinicidence that my free Dell tech support expired last month, and now I'm having issues with the Dell wireless card.

It works fine with an ethernet cable. I have a WII that uses the router also and I can watch a Netflix movie on it so the router seems to be working. I was told a while back to hard code my DNS settings into the connection. That seemed OK, but last night, again got "invalid URL message" so I went back to getting DNS servers automatically. (what prompted the change was that I couldn't get to washingtpost.com). So, today I'm on NYTimes.com and everything is OK but when I try to access two pages (Op-Ed) I get "file not found". (IT was originally two pages and now it's many more.) I've had people look at the output from IPCONFIG /ALL; but any pointers, tips, etc. This seems limited to my desktop computer; the laptop on the same router is OK (also Win7).
View 11 Replies View Relatedhere where I work we are having an issue with IP Address conflicts. We are not sure exactly why, though. We have only had it happen 2-3 times so far, but this has been over the past week or so, and we would like to get it resolved. Here is what is happening: Last week we were getting an "IP Address conflict" message on one of our computers. It had received 192.168.3.112 from our DCHP server, so we switched it to a static IP address up beyond our DHCP range. We then tried pinging the address with the conflict, but got nothing. We figured it was some device that had a static address, so on the DHCP server we reserved it to a non-existent mac address so it wouldn't hand that one out again. This wasn't a problem, since it was an isolated incident.
Since then we have tried periodically pinging 192.168.3.112 to see if there is actually a device using that address, but have gotten no replies. Since then we have had another one or two times where this has happened, but with different IP addresses. We went around and checked a couple of different wireless routers that we had deployed, but the DHCP had been disabled on all of them (but then again, the issue came up just recently, while the routers have been out there for months).
