Cisco WAN :: SRP521W / QoS For 2Mb Connection?

We recently switched from a ADSL2+ service to a 2Mb SHDSL link. Uploading images to our website is happening all day long, thus greater upstream bandwidth was required.
Our downloads are suffering somewhat, the upstream gets easily flooded and downloads start to trickle.
I have a SRP521W which has a few QoS options. The QoS Bandwidth control has upstream bandwidth set to 2048 Kbps. Now I don't know how to enforce anything. How to use the WAN strict high priority queue appriopirately.
The website has a static IP address, so I can target that in the rules to only use 80% of the bandwidth?Alternatively can I limit upstream traffic per user?

I have a problem in connecting SRP521w with CCA v3.2. I tried to connect the device with CCA but it said that that the device is unsupported. I already upgraded the router's firmware with v1.01.26.

We've come across an issue whereby the WAN port fails to light up with an Adtran Total Access 832 (via bonded SHDSL) unit.
Eventually the WAN port does light up after connecting and disconnecting it several times with the ethernet cable. However as a test I power cycled the router with the WAN cable disconnected and had a strange issue where the WAN light would constantly flash and show up in the web gui as being connected when in fact the Adtran Unit showed the device was not connected at all.
This is the second Cisco SRP521W router in place as the original one disconnects overnight without any load and a power cycle would fix the issue, but this replacement router disconnects during business hours (even worse for the customer) and power cycling does not bring it back online. We've adjusted the WAN port to 10MB Full on both devices and hope that it stays up. I am wondering if any has had a similar experience? Would this be a behaviour of a faulty unit or may it not be compatible with the Adtran Total Access 832 (via bonded SHDSL) unit perhaps?

Cisco srp521w router vpn configuration. company has wan static ip to router. enable vpn Cisco server in router. connected with Cisco vpn client. route failed in log. Need to access a PC on the company site with address 192.168.15.105 and router with gateway 192.168.15.1.
How do i configure ip pool ? different ip address? if i connect how do i access pc 192,168.15,105 ? remote pc with 192.168.1.100.

Is it possible to send all traffic through site to site VPN using SRP521W (on the other site ASA) ? Lets say, traffic to Internet from branch through HQ - site to site VPN between branch and HQ. I've tried to set up destination crypto policy entry to 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 but it's not accepted. Firmware version is 1.01.26 (003)

Have followed the admin guide, and can setup this up fine, however what we're wanting is to turn off any IP connection for the main wan ethernet interface and only have the sub-interface have an IP connection method.
I can't see how you can turn this off, which is causing a double-up of dhcp requests being sent when using both the main/sub ethernet interfaces to use dhcp.
This has been tested on the 521w and 521w-u versions, and I've just used the latest firmware 1.2.4 on the u version.
How can this be configured so that there is only 1 WAN interface that is using IP (the sub interface) Setting default routes to point to the sub interface doesn't make a difference.

Any recommendation for creating a configuration template for the SRP521W? I can use the Admin-->Backup Config to get a xxx.cfg file, but I cannot edit it with notepad++. Also, i know the config can be view via view-source: [URL], but how would I load a modified copy of this back to the router?

We have been using a SRP521W as the main Router for an office with about 25 users.
So on the cable network it's about 25 computers, 25 IP Phones, 3 printers. Wireless network hold some smartphones and tablets. Computer traffic is 100% Remote Desktop.
That said, for the last few days network connectivity sucks. I think the problem is, precisely, the SRP521W. Some mornings the WAN link is down and can only be brought up by a router reboot.
There's an IPSec tunnel to HQ.
Wireless network was moved recently to a WAP121 to offload the SRP521W. It has two networks: internal and customers with two VLANs.
CPU Usage is around 30-45% all day and spikes to 100% sometimes. RAM Usage is 40-45%. I do not know if this is "too much", "average" or "really low load".
Anyway, time for questions:
a) How can I get a table of active connections on the firewall/NAT to see if there anything "strange" on the network traffic that maybe causing issues?
b) Is there any know bug in the VLAN handling of the SRP that maybe causing the issue? (it's one of the latests changes introduced).
c) If the problem is that there's too much load for such a small router, what replacement would you recommend given the details above? (remember I do not really need wireless on the router as I have the wap121).

Just brought another set of SRP521W, after changed the WAN setting to PPPOE, we unable to access the web management. The power/sys light will keep blink when trying to access the web management. We able to ping it. We tried the reset button but it did not work as well. Is that a way to upgrade the firmware without using the web management?

i cannot access the web managemnet interface of this router from a different subnet.THe WAN interface is a 4G LTE connection,I have disabled both the SPI firewall and NAT and enabled remote management from any ip address but i cannot access the admin web page from a remote subnet.Doing a port scan of the routers WAN or LAN address i cannot see any ports open at all...its as if firewall or NAT is still enabled somehow.

As you can see i have problems with connecting 2 SRP521W together for an VPN tunnel. I tried as much as I can but now i dont know what to do or how and where is the mistake? the connection between these two devices was there last week, after weekend (nothing changed in configs) the connection suddenly was interrupted, without any reason or warning. another day it worked again and 20 mins later connection was dead again...and now it wont establish at all.. here are some screenshots from the vpnconfigs of my devices. one has a static IP the otherone uses FQDN. I have a Cisco 3725 running IOS 12.3. I have three WAN connections (2 x 100Mb and 1 x 2Mb serial) and I need to replace the 2Mb serial connection with a further 100Mb connection. However, I have not got any spare 100Mb sockets.My plan is to use a switch that supports VLANs, connect the three WAN connections to the switch, each in their own VLAN, then connect the switch to one port on the router, configuring the switch port as a trunk (so that it passes all three VLANs across the link) and configuring the router so that for that single Ethernet interface, it has three subinterfaces each configured for a VLAN that matches the VLAN used for the corresponding WAN connection.
I am a bit rusty on my IOS so I wanted to run this all past the community for feedback. [code] Any thoughts on whether or not that will work? Are there any commands from the original interface configurations that I CANNOT use when moving them to a subinterface? I'm thinking that the speed & duplex commands need to be removed?

We're getting "Connaction Timeout / Connection Failure" error messages several time per day. Here is our setup:
Verizon FiOS Internet (ONT Box) --> Cisco ASA 5505 --> EdgeMarc 4500 Router --> Cisco 300-24G Switch --> Dell PE1950 Servers
From past few months, we keep getting Connection Timeout and Connection Failure error messages in our vendor application which connects to SQL Server 2005. Also Terminal Server 2003 keep disconnecting for every few hours.After several days of troubleshooting, we come to know that this Cisco ASA 5500 is not working properly. When I access the ASDM, it shows several warning messages.I know there is a setting option to configure TimeOut, but is there anyway to test and track the ASA 5500 regarding this Timeout issues?

I have a problem with my computer connections.When I plug in a network cable to access LAN, a wireless Internet connection gets disconnected.When I unplug the cable internet connection through wireless comes up.Some computers can support both connections cable for LAN and wireless for Internet.Other computers do not support both connections.

I am trying to confgure a VPN connection on a Cisco ASA 5505, and I am supposed to translate the inside network from 10.200 76.0 to host 10.1.4.204, and then from that scheme establish a VPN with the host 66.179.80.108 on network 192.168.50.0/24. I was told that this Cisco ASA appliace would be able to translate the network address as a mask in order to make the necessary connection with the other site connection.

I have an Acer 7750G, running Windows 7,connected to our home network using a Dynex router. At the moment this is the only laptop in the house that is having problems with connectivity. Starting yesterday, it only connects intermittently. When I run diagnostics, it says the following problems have been fixed but it either solves the problem for a few minutes only or not at all: "Problem with wireless adapter or access point" or "Default gateway is not available".
IPV6 connectivity also shows 'no internet access' and sometimes IPV4 reports no internet. I've unplugged and rebooted the modem and router a few times but that hasn't solved the problem.
Edit: I ran troubleshoot again, and it says the following issue is not fixed: "Wireless Network Connection 2 does not have a valid IP configuration".

so I would like to know if I have a cisco 800 series lets say with interface fa0/0 being my public interface.can I have on this interface an easyvpn connection to a hub and a crypto map xyz connection to another hub?all the tests I've done using gns3 indicate no. when I have both on the same interface only eazyvpn works. when I remove the eazyvpn from the interface then site to site works.I know with a crypto map I can have different tunnels but my question is a crypto map and an eazyvpn on the same outside interface can it work.if yes, do you have a configuration example of the 2 hubs and the spoke?

I just bought a "DLink Xtreme N Gigabit Router DIR-655" I configured it correctly. It works well for the wireless connection but my Lan connection (wired connection) does not work. The Lan computer connects to the router but cannot access the internet. All of my machines work OK with a Netgear G router, including the Lan computer.

I have problem with my Internet connection. Recently my Internet connection often get slow. There are 3 connections on the server running Windows Server 2003. 1st is External, 2nd is Internal and 3rd is VPN (please see attahement). There is nothing to do with External and Internal connections, and everytime the Internet connection get slow, I have to disconnection VPN (connection) and connect it again.

After connecting to the internet on my laptop, the internet connection will work great for 10 minutes or less than it slows down drastically or essentially not working at all. If I disconnect and reconnect it will work again but just for a short amount of time. The wireless connection works great on iPod, IPhone, and tablet. Downloaded Kaspersky Antivirus which said it fixed some viruses but internet got worse after that. Tried restoring the computer to factory settings and the internet stays connected for what seem a few minutes longer.

Every time I boot up my computer, everything will be working fine for about 5 -10 minutes, but after this, all my browsers will lose connection to the Internet. All of them: IE, firefox, chrome, even the steam browser, all of them just lose connection.The weird thing is, my net connection is perfectly fine: I can still play online games, still use online chat services, still open and use programs like utorrent. i have cable internet. and im supposed to get up to 15Mbps. but i only get that on a good day. i average around 10Mbps.but im paying $60 a month for the 15Mbps. i can get at&t u-verse at 18Mbps for $39.95 a month for 12 months. then it goes up to $44. does any one her use U-Verse? and do you think its a better deal then cable?

When I try connecting via anyconnect the logs (and anyconnect messages) state the connection "cannot be established due to no addresses being available for SVC connection'". The group etc has a dhcp scope assigned, (and this was working for the past year). I'm not sure what config changes (if any) he made before leaving.

I have an L2L VPN setup between two ASA 5505's. I can communicate across the VPN from either site without an issue. I'd like to be able to grant RA VPN users access to both LAN's but I'm not certain how to proceed (or if it's possible). I have split tunneling setup, and I've added both LAN subnets in the ACL. When I connect to either ASA via RA VPN, I can ping any host on the local subnet behind that ASA. However, when I try to ping hosts on the other side of the L2L VPN, it fails. I'm not sure if I have an ACL setup wrong, or if it's simply not possible.

Cisco 1811 device. Working great with connection from TWTELCOM, trying to add 2nd connection from BRTHOUSE set SLA's and metrics but config still isn't working. The connection won't come up and when I do show ip route ip address it doesn't show a metric so neither connection has a priority and the connection fails. I want brighthouse to have priority as shown with SLA's but if brighthouse fails I want it to go back to twtelcom. [code]

I have recently installed SDM in order to access the internet with my 837 ADSL. I have configured the router's ethernet interface with ip address 10.10.10.1/24 (Default Gateway) and my PC to 10.10.10.2/24, I can both ping & telnet to the router from my PC, I also have pinged 8.8.8.8 on the router and that came up to 100%. But I am not getting the internet, I will show any configs from the router & post these for further information.
