If you do not connect wireless device within 10 minutes, then you have to restart the router.You have assigned IP via wifi, and when you connect cable device to the router, the wifi PCs are disconnected.

Rebooting clears the discrepancy for a short time before it drops an hour exactly. I'm in the central time zone and the setting are correct on the basic setup.?

So, now I want to use BOTH internet connections simultaneously. However, both connections will still be separate and not combined:If I had to transfer big files, then I could do this on network A.Now, I want to use network B for other "normal" internet use so that the transfer of files in network A gets the maximum speed since there is no interference with anything else.I have to let the computer know somehow that there are two connections used simultaneously. I also have to setup what programs use what connection. Jun 29, 2011Ciso 1941 router frozen once a day, sometimes after 2 to 7 days. When the router frozen, no internet connection and cannot login/ping ethernet ports. I can login to console port and copy the error messages below. Reload the router and it will return back to normal operation. Re-installed IOS but still the same.

Internet Stops Working For Hours At A Time
Mar 11, 2011My internet (wired and wireless) usually works fine, but occasionally (read: every few days to weeks) the connection will suddenly black out for a period of time, anywhere from an hour to a day. I have tried resetting both my router and modem, and going through all the settings on my laptop, but I'm pretty sure it's not my computer, as no other devices can connect either. During the blackouts, when I look at the modem, the internet light will turn on for a second, then go off and then the red "alarm" light (aka "something is wrong" light) starts blinking like crazy, and this keeps repeating. This resolves itself after anywhere from a few hours to a whole day and everything is normal again. The light show, and the fact that I can't find any other problems, leads me to believe that it could be a problem with my provider (or the network itself) and not a hardware or software problem, but I can't be sure of this.Also, during the blackouts, I can connect to the network, but it shows that limited connectivity symbol (exclamation mark thing) and says no internet.

Then, it starts working again. I used to have to just open the Solve Problems and then it would connect again. But now, I tried just unplugging the Ethernet Cable and plugging it again. It had the same effect as restarting the switch. When i restart one of the computer, the internet don't work, but the networking is working, i need to reset the modem by unplug and unplug the line of one computer (so only one computer is hook up to swith and then to the router).... after i got the internet connection from that computer, then i can hook up another computer successfully. But after I reboot one computer, the internet connection won't work again
