View 1 RepliesI looked around the messages, but could not find anything on this topic. I need assistance with the CISCO WRT54G2 V1. I have an EnGenius EOC5611P (500mW) Repeater set up in my RV and it connects directly to the PC inside my RV using, a CAT 5 connection. I am now using a laptop and would like to connect to the EOC5611P using wireless. "Can I re-configure the WRT54G2 to connect the 5611?" (I would plug the router directly into the 5611). According to EnGenius support, it is possible, but the router would have to be re-configured, but they do not support this setup. I would purchase an EnGenius EAO 7530 which would work perfectly, but the price is $245. Here is the link to the 5611 information [URL]

View 3 Replies View RelatedI just got a wireless repeater (Engenius ERN 9250) to use in my house, and I'm having issues after setting it up. I set it up using the WPS function with my router (netgear n600), and even if I connected to the repeater my internet would not work. I could access the repeaters admin page wirelessly, and I could ping it (192.168.1.2) just fine. However, if I tried to ping the router it would not work. I made sure that the repeater was connected to my router through the admin page, and I made sure to set the default gateway on the repeater to 192.168.1.1.
View 12 Replies View RelatedI'm trying to install an Engenius EAP9550, configured as a wireless repeater. the instructions are beyond abominable (as the review on Amazon warned). They tell me to enter 192.168.1.1 (which is my linksys E2000 wireless routers address, though they say nothing about that) and tehn give me no other information on how to configure or set this up.
View 13 Replies View RelatedI have bought a Engenius wireless adapter because the Verizon FIOS router is in the other room and it is not practical to run an Ethernet cable from my PC. The supplied router is a UltraLine Series 3 9100EM Router, and the wire less adapter model is a EnGenius EUB9801. The signal is fine with every other wireless device inside my place.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have gone through the docs in creating a static NAT. I have gone into firewall/NAT Rules and set the internal / external entries, set access rules for the various services. However, I am unable to make a connection remotely. Somewhere along the line, I must be missing a command or something.

I connected an EnGenius M5000 AP/Bridge to a switch, a Modem (VSAT) is also connect to the switch and aslo my Desktop standalone PC. All instructions were followed to install the EnGenius M5000. However, only the Power,Lan, and Wan light indicators are on but the Link/Signal indicators - red, yellow and green are not coming on.I tried pinging 192.168.1.1 according to the default IP address, but still there was no responds. Even I tried resetting it on the firmware, but it can not ping

I have a Single Board Computer (SBC) running Linux that has an 'wireless access point' connected to one of it's Ethernet ports. I want to be able to transfer data between the laptop and the SBC wirelessly (cabling is not an option)
The 'wireless access point' I am using is the EnGenius EOC5611P - it can be configured for:
1. Access Point
2. Client Bridge
3. WDS Bridge
4. Client Router
I don't know which one of these I need,so working that out would be a good start!
i am setting up a network between two houses. I have two Amped Wireless SR300 repeaters and currently I am getting so-so signal strength between the repeaters. To remedy this issue, I purchased two EnGenius EAG-2408 external antenna's.My question is how to calculate how high to mount the antenna. A formula is preferable because I do not know the exact distance off hand and I will have to go out there and measure. I am estimating approximately 75 to 100 yards for the distance. Its flat, with a few trees/brush.
Repeaters:[URL]
-Transmit Power: Up to 20 dBm
-Receiving Sensitivity: -93dBm

-Omni Directional Antenna
-18 degree vertical beamwidth

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have been using the E3000 for quite a while. A problem that I could not find a solution to is that the devices connected through Ethernet can't be viewed on Wireless, and vice versa. This is especially annoying because I want to get access to my media servers over wireless, for obvious reasons, but even those are not viewable (and using IP addresses on portables is a pain in the back)

View 2 Replies View RelatedMy home web hosting used to work. But because of changing ISP from Verizon to TWC, TWC gave me a modem-router and I bought my own Linksys E2500 router. Both Verizon and TWC services I subscribed are Dynamic IP. I use a third party to redirect the web traffic to my home.TWC gave me a simple modem-router in a box. Input is coax and outputs are 4 ethernet ports. I use one of the 4 ethernet outputs of the TWC box to connect to the internet ethernet input port of the E2500. All my wire and wireless devices are now feeding off the E2500. All wireless and wired devices work and can browse internet through the E2500.I have assigned one computer as the web server and set the internal IP addess of this computer as 192.168.1.128. This is the same for the setup with Verizon before.I loaded the CD came with the E2500 router and can see the LAN 192.168.1.128.My problem starts from here, I do not know how to set the port in E2500 to make the web traffic to 192.168.1.1281. Using the E2500 CD, I click to "APPLICATION AND GAMING", then "SINGLE PORT FORWARDING". under the APPLICATION NAME, I select one of the box to HTTP and type in 128 under "TO IP ADDRESS". I then click ENABLED, then "save settings" . The 192.168.1 is fixed in this window, I can only type 128.This does not work. I can browse internet but cannot access my website from any machines using domain name. Then I tried:2. with item 1 above, I continued to do SETUP>>BASIC SETUP>>DHCP RESEVERSATION. I can see the compute/sever name and the 192.168.1.128. I then click the "select" and save the client.I restarted the computer/server, I unplug and plug the E2500 power. I check the server internal IP address and it is still the same. But I just cannot browse to my website. I can browse other places.
