Ok so i just got a 1841 and i have nfc where to start on hwo to set it up or make it work. How do i go about loging in to it so i can set it up to use it as a router? I tried to plug my pc in to the consle port and my pc doesn't even show i have any thing hooked up to it. so any step by step guides on how to log in and set this up?

The ACS seems not to know that it should use LDAP, because I get,"22056 Subject not found in applicable identity stores"LDAP is configured as Identitiy Store, the bind test works successfully and I created a sequence, where LDAP is at first position. What goes wron?? (TATACS for loal ACS Users works)

View 1 Replies View RelatedThe computer that i am using which is on the LAN Setup. Also it is connected to the domain. Whenever i tried to log on to the computer it is giving me an error message that "The System could not log on the "Domain Name" either the connection is disconnected or the domain is no longer available" somting like that. When i remove the LAN Cable and if i enter the domain password, i can login to the computer. after i log on the computer if i connect the LAN Cable it is working fine. I can access the other computer which is connected to the same domain. Why the error message is poping up?
View 4 Replies View Relatedi've been trying to setup an SSL VPN on my 1841 lab router but with no luck. i tried both clientless (anyconnect 2.5) and using a vpn client (anyconnect 3.0).
i'm using a win 7 PC with IP 172.16.1.50 directly connected to 1841 FE0/1 port. tried disabling PC FW, used both IE and FF and delete cookes but to no avail. below are my config and some show and debug output.

I just moved and have a new laptop, Comcast came in to reset the cable and internet. A new router was given to us and I cannot seem to access the password. I reset the router and now where to go nest since I try using the IP address and it is not recognizing it. I am using an unsecured WIFI access and I am not comfortable doing so.

It can establish VPN but it can't pass traffic through VPN, what may be the problem. The configuration is same and I can access Internet through this ISP.

I have the "cloud connect" firmware and when I'm redirected to the "Linksys Smart Wi-Fi" page in my browser, I attempt to login as usual.It accepts my login name and password, and then I get a page that has a rotating graphic and it says "waiting..." It eventualy times out and takes me back to the login screen. I've tried to reboot my router and that doesn't work. I've also disconnected the internet connection from the modem, and entered the router main password, and that gives me the same response as if I tried to connect via the cloud.

After the intial setup I can log into the main router wrt54gl (192.168.1.1)and all 3 WDS routers (192.168.1.2 ,3 and 4), but after couple of days of testing suddenly i can not login to 2 of the WDS routers,
I mean I can connect to it and it will get me to internet but I can no longer login, it just says the page take too long to load. I know if I do a hard reset and setup WDS again then it will work, but I dont want to keep doing that. Tried to power cycle the router but still wont work. Is it the load on the router made it inaccessible ?
I am looking to setup a solution for backing up a Metro Ethernet connection on a 2951 using an 1841 and 2 T1's in a Multilink. The Metro E will be primary, and if the BGP peer goes down, I want it to switchover to the 1841. Can it be done and is there an example of the BGP setup to work off of?

I am not getting any hit on the deny statement of 102 when i try pinging to client ip address (10.0.0.10).
Here is my setup:
Cisco 1841 Software (C1841-ADVIPSERVICESK9-M), Version 15.1(2)T1, RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc1)

Netopia DSL Router:

Now the DSL was installed a while back for a different need and now that need is gone. What Id like to is have the Cisco router do performance routing and send out internet traffic to either its own external IP or send it over to the DSL if it can get a better response. Presently, Since the Cisco is my gateway, the DSL line is sitting idle.
On a BEFVP41, I disabled snmp for testing (because it was sending some strange alarms), and now I can't login to the web setup pages. The username and password no longer work. I thought maybe it reset itself to default (blank/admin) but it didn't.

This config is working fine, when dialing in via a Windows Hyperterminal Dial connection. After a while of dialing I get the login prompt of the router.Now I want to have a router placing calls instead of a Windows Server. I can't figure out how to tell a router to place calls to a POTS phone number.

I have a website account with fatcow. I created the website with Dreamweaver software and uploaded it to fatcow via port 21.My internet connection was via xplornet and I had no access problems. I upgraded to xplornet's new g4 system and now I can no longer access my account online or upload to my website.We have two computers. The first is a desktop system that has the dreamweaver software. The second is a laptop which connects wirelessly. We share the signal through a dlink router. The modem is a viasat Surfbeam 2 residential satellite modem.1. When I attempt to login to the fatcow control panel, the tab shows successfully authenticated and then re-directs me back to the login page. This happens on both the laptop and the desktop.
I have tried bypassing the router and the problem still exists.I took the laptop to the computer center and I can login to the account no problem.I used a free proxy server page on the internet and can login from my home system on my desktop no problem.I have completely turned off virus scan and firewalls. It doesn't work. I have tried IE7, Chrome, Firefox and they all have the same problem. The laptop runs IE8 and has the same problem.I can ping the page successfully. I can traceroute the page successfully. I can't nslooup any site at all. When I attempt to upload via dreamweaver, I connect but within seconds I get a Dreamweaver message that says "Connection to remote host has been lost. Click refresh to continue" and the log reads "FTP Error. Dreamweaver could not connect to server." I haven't taken my desktop anywhere to try to see if it works on a different network. I'm in a remote location (hence the satellite internet)and it is an hours drive to the nearest private internet connection and a 2 hour drive to the nearest public connection.
We have a Linksys WRT120N wireless router set up at one of our small offices. I noticed recently when trying to log in to the router to make some admin configurations that it will not accept the login credentials when trying to log in from IE10 browser. Works fine from Chrome, IE9, ect. logging in to a linksys router with IE10?

During setup I left the username default and set the password. Then it asked me for the password to login to the web but it never asked me the username to use. I have to set this up very soon.
We have a Cisco SF 300-08 here at work that cannot be used. The system lights are green and flashing. I looked into the manual and pressed the reset button for more than 10 seconds for a factory reset. The port lights lit up momentarily and then goes out. I used Putty and Tera Term with no luck. The screen is just blank; there's no boot up process.

I have installed LMS4.2.2 on Windows 2008 server and am unable to login via the 'admin' username. I get "Invalid Username or Password. Please try again" error message. I can successfully login using Windows AD username and password.
I have reset the password for 'admin' username with the following:

i have 2960 Catalyst with LANLITE. And i cannot set "transport input ssh", it allows only telnet. I'm wondering if cisco lanlite switches have ssh input in newer releases of IOS or there is no way to make ssh input on this switch?Here's show ver output (i removed all serial and part numbers):

how can I import a public or private key in a router? For example, a Cisco 3560th I have found some conflicting answers @ cisco.com . Background, I would like to login with PUTTY via ssh on a Cisco Router but without username and password.The login should be made with RSA Keys. For this I need to deposit on the IOS device's the public key and on my Client the private key. For this I've already created with PuTTYGen the two keys. The private is in the ppk format. I still need to convert this into a different format? Since there are PEM and PKCS. Below you can see what times I have entered. With the error message: "CRYPTO_PKI: Import PKCS12 operation failed, failure status = 0x705" With the following error message I can do anything?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI configured a new SG-200-08 with a static IP. I tried to save the configuration as the startup configuration. After 10 minutes, I restarted the switch. It didn't boot with the new configuration, and returned to the default .254 and default pw. Now I cannnot assign a new pw or get past the change the pw page. When I try to save a new pw, the switch reboots and prompts me to change from the default pw. I tried resetting the switch by depressing the reset button for a long time, but results are the same. LED indicators are green with a flashing green indicating the .254 address and a solid green on the port where the switch is connected to the computer. How can I reset the switch or get passed the change your pw page?
